. Travelers tip on dining Flemings is right down below so great restaurants within walking distance. Have to be careful because you can see into some rooms while you are waiting for the elevator. For business and just staying overnight it is good. If I were going to spend time in the room I probably wouldn’t stay here because there isn’t much space.Business hotel This is a good place to stay for the money.

. The music from the bar made it difficult to sleep. Had a room on the sixth floor and the bar is on the fifth floor. The hotel did send up an air mattress but the mattress leaked air.Better places in Charlotte The hotel is in a good location, but I reserved a twin bedroom, and got a single King bed.

. It’s our new favorite place to stay in Uptown Charlotte! YES - the entrance is on College Street. All of the amenities were great - plus some cool magazines. We had no problem with noise from the Epicenter area - we were on the 12th floor. They seem to take it in stride and were VERY courteous. Fine for us, but probably a little hard on the employees checking you in. The check-in process was a little loud, as the "lobby" is also the "bar".Very Hip! Loved this place.

. It’s all very safe and within easy walking distance to other attractions in uptown Charlotte. On Thursday nights, live bands play at Alive After Five. onsite. Travelers tip on nightlife Aloft is located in the Epicenter, and there are numerous restaurants, bars, shops, etc. I travel to uptown Charlotte monthly and don’t plan to return to Aloft, there are too many other choices with first class amenities, for the same price, with the same uptown location. A repairman was there and he stated that they haven’t worked since the place opened, he was constantly there fixing them. The lobby is on the 5th floor of the Epicenter and neither elevator from the parking garage worked. Parking is $20 a day with no reserved spaces for Aloft guests, so you may have to park in another lot offsite. However, parking and getting to the 5th floor lobby are both a hassle.Not impressed This hotel is in the center of uptown Charlotte, very convenient to everything.

. it is in the middle of everything which was the best part. very clean and really stylish. i absolutely loved this hotel...Can’t wait to go back.

. Great location right in the heart of Charlotte’s downtown activities. but for one person on business I find it quite nice... It is a basic service hotel so you won’t find room service or robes etc.Good for business I find this hotel in a great location, clean, and functional for a business trip.

. There was no notification that there would be a charge and no option given to us for parking ourselves. We were quite taken back by the $20 charge for this upon checkout. As we pulled up to the hotel asking where to park, we were greeted by a valet service who gladly parked our car for us. We were unable to shut it off.A few issues The air conditioner was loud and constantly cycling through the entire night.

. If you’re looking for a quiet stay, request the other side of the hotel. My only complaint is the noise from the bars & restaurants in the EpiCentre, which dies down around 2:30AM. The location was convenient and the room was very nice.Enjoyable stay I really enjoyed my stay at aloft.

. The parking was $20 a day for Valet and $10 a day to park in the parking garage but all in all everything was great. The only thing I really didn’t like was the parking. The hotel had a unique and different atmosphere to it than the traditional hotels. Clubs,dining,bars,shopping, and more were in walking distance. It was more than I expected.Hotel This Hotel was great.

Overall, however, would recommend to anyone!. Only complaint, when you turn on the bathroom area lights, it lights up the bedroom area, not too great if someone is still sleeping. Plenty to do within the immediate area without having to get in your car and drive.Fun, hip hotel The A Loft was absolutely beautiful and the staff was great.
