. I would definitely recommend this hotel to people visiting San Antonio. The hotel is not too far from the main part of town. The lobby had a modern design with a cool bar and free pool. But this hotel had a great smell.i always stay in nice hotels and always have the same great outcome...I enjoyed myself smelled great.

And, there is a gym!. but it’s a great, fun place to stay at a good price.you slep your own bags, park your own ar, no room service, etc...Cool! The great thing about Aloft is that you feel young just because you are there! It’s not the 5 star type place.

. Definitely worth the price. We will stay hear again and again. It’s near by plenty of restraunts and about half way between the amusement parks and downtown. The room is not that big, but it was perfect for our needs. We loved the modern architecture and cleanliness of the hotel. I stayed with my wife and two children and they all liked the hotel.Surprisingly Refreshing The hotel was unlike any I have ever stayed at before.

It had constant updates on sports scores, the DOW, etc scrolling. It probably wasn’t the best choice for my family as there was no bathtub for the children and no breakfast available, but as a couple or traveling business person, it was just what I would be looking for. This is the first aLoft I’ve ever stayed at and not knowing what to expect, I was pleased. Very contemporary with nice details that I enjoyed.Very cool This is one hip hotel.

. As a Architect/Designer myself I really appreciated what this hotel had to offer above all the usual chains for the same price or less. I appreciated the great use of space. Our room was great and the bed was very comfortable. The "back yard" was a fantastic place to relax in the pool or in the outdoor lounge. The lobby and bar/lounge areas are beautifully designed and very inviting and confortable. . If this matter had been handled better, I might have considered using this hotel on a regular basis for our business. The sad thing is that I manage a operation of about 30 people, and our parent office is in San Antonio. It took Expedia’s involvement to finally resolve the issue, at least I hope it’s resolved, as I am still waiting for the refund to appear on my account.he never called me back... I left several messages for the general manager, who always seemed to be in a meeting. When I called the hotel, I got a lot of "alohas" but no real assistance. My biggest complaint is that they billed my card almost two months later without even attempting to notify me of the billing error. I double checked my credit card statement for March and also called Expedia, and confirmed that they indeed had been paid for two nights. When I called the hotel, I was told that Expedia had only paid for 1 night. I was later billed an additional night’s stay in May, more than 2 months after my stay. They had a flat screen TV, but limited HD channels, I think they were still working out the bugs on this service. The hotel is new, so everything is neat and clean, but the rooms are kind of small.Don’t stay here We booked this hotel in March, on opening week for two nights through Expedia.

Great Customer service The check in is so easy u just go up to the kiosk and check in and out there is a front desk that is very helpful with finding directions etc.

. All in all, the noise factor aside, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying at the hotel again. It seemed like the vast majority of guests were large families with many kids running around, including (to my dismay) our next door neighbors whose kids were very loud. Unfortunately, we were wrong to expect fewer kids. Hotel just recently opened, so room and common areas were very nice and clean and we enjoyed the more modern/chic decor, the fitness room, and the outdoor firepit.Good but not perfect My wife and I traveled to San Antonio to attend a wedding and decided to try out the new aloft near the Airport, as we enjoy staying at the W Hotel (which started the aloft brand) as it tends to draw a younger (25-40’s) crowd and fewer kids.

(some restrictions apply) We saved a lot of $$ by purchasing & printing a few certificates for this area prior to our trip.com to view & print dining certificates. They did accomodate us with air mattresses which was fine for one night even though I would have preferred to have gotten what I reserved. It was a neat place to stay for a night. I think that they overbooked and since we checked in late, gave us whatever was left over. We made a reservation for two rooms with two queens in each, and ended up with two rooms with one king in each.Nice hotel, overbooked at the time though This hotel was only open for 3 weeks prior to our checking in for one night.

. The lobby is a bar/night club at night and check in can be a little nuts. Check in before 9pm. Check out was the easiest I have ever experienced. It was clean and beautiful and we loved the rooms.Loved it We loved this hotel.

. Convenient to several restaurants, definitely somewhere I will return to. Efficient layout of the room, big walk-in shower (no bathtub), great bed, flat screen television and easy hookup for internet (plus free wireless). Not elegant, but definitely hip.Brand new and really a great place to stay.
