    Luxurious!!!

The hotel was so luxurious and clean. I’m just a middle american and it was nice to stay in such a nice place. We got a great deal and even in the regular rooms things were super nice. The showers are huge and there is a separate tub which was nice. Beautiful views and great food. Close to shopping and right in the middle of the strip. I would definitely stay there again.

    Boring

The casino was close to empty all six days and evenings we stayed. The restaurants are few and either had long lines to get in or expensive. The bar charges $14 for a glass of wine. The worst was that they gave our room to someone else who walked in while my husband was dressing. No one at the desk had any explanation for the error.

Very impressed with hotel and staff

Loved the water show from our room each night. Was truly magical. Plus were offered a discounted additional night. Would go back in a heartbeat.

    Travelers tip

A big mistake was using the local "Deuce" bus which runs up and down the strip. Long waits, very narrow, very slow, plus can’t see out windows due to advertising covering the bus. Can you believe the driver let a man on the bus holding a very large window air conditioner. He blocked the aisle. Safety anyone?? Also take a taxi to and from the airport. The airport shuttle bus was packed, slow and more expensive!

    Best Hotel in Vegas

Second trip to Las Vegas. Stayed at Bellagio. Was everything you could ever want in a hotel. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished. The bathroom was gorgeous. The hotel staff was excellent. Would definitely go back.

    Travelers tip on local attractions

Must see Freemont St. at night. It’s really cool. If you have a car got to Red Rock Canyon and the Hoover Dam. Both worth seeing.

    Another successful stay at Bellagio

This was my 12th stay at Bellagio in 8 years or so. All have been good. It does drive me a little crazy that they always welcome me with "have you stayed with us before?" Hello, it’s 2009, Amazon knows everything I have ever bought from them at a fraction of the spend that I have spent at Bellagio and they do not know who I am as a customer. Hmmmmm. Great place though.

    Great trip

My husband and I and four of our friends went on this trip to Las Vegas. We all had a great time. The only problem we had was the fact that our rooms were in the Spa Tower and it took forever to get from our room to the casino floor. Maybe that was a blessing in disguise. We absolutely loved the autumn theme since we live in CT. The hotel check-in service was wonderful and the concierge service was excellent. We never felt rushed with our questions and they were always answered promptly.

Upgraded to room with Strip view. It was awesome.

We booked our room through Expedia at a very reasonable rate and did not expect our room to have much view. But, on check-in, we were upgraded to a high level floor with Strip view. We couldn’t help ourselves but let our jaws dropped as we stepped into the room. You guessed it. It was our first 5-star hotel experience and you can be sure that we’ll come back.

Was nice, but not as nice as I expected it to be...just as expensive.

The hotel was very nice, but for the price I expected more. Last year I had stayed at The Planet Hollywood, and it seemed more luxurious than the Bellagio. Granted, it is newer, but again, for the price of the room, I expected more out of this hotel. Check in was a mess, the room was comfortable and clean, but nothing extraordinary. Also, my non-smoking room reeked of smoke around 5am in the morning when someone on the floor apparently decided to light one up. The only reason I wouldn’t recommend it is because I had such high expectations and wasn’t as impressed as I hoped to be. It was very nice, but cost-wise, I think you could find comparable across the street.

The Bellagio is a perfect mix...

The Bellagio is a perfect mix of comfort and entertainment. The Bellagio was not as loud and annoying as the other casinos we walked through, yet had enough to keep us well entertained. The prices, to us, were high but I am sure they were comparable to other hotels. I would have liked the cocktail waitresses to walk by more frequently in the casino but that may have saved me money.

    Too noisy, not impressed.

It is a beautiful hotel, but along with the 4 or 5 star rating comes really high prices- a Snapple ice tea, for example, is 8 or 9 dollars! The a sight restaurants were just so-so. We had some issues- the window coverings are operated by a switch, that was broken but repaired while we were there, and the mini-bar was missing a few things that we luckily noticed right away or we would’ve been charged for.The worst thing about this hotel is you can’t close your room door unless you slam it. I tried to slip out and get my husband coffee, but couldn’t just slip out- you, seriously, have to slam the door to get it to close. And if you are trying to sleep in you hear everyone else’s doors slamming! I suggest staying somewhere else and visiting this hotel- I didn’t find it worth the extra money. The maids are yelling back and forth to each other, and the doors are slamming, so if you have a late night, there’s no way you can sleep past 8 or 9. The machines are COLD! I also found it offensive to have to show my room key, before I could get on the elevator up to my room- I felt like they thought I was a hooker- men usually wern’t asked to show their keys. Their excuse was to prevent theft.... Whatever. Bottom line, not impressed. Lots of better places to stay that are actually worth the star rating. p.s. Swimming pools looked inviting, but weren’t heated. Burrr

Travelers tip on saving a few bucks

Visit the Bellagio, stay elsewhere- It’s not worth the extra money.

    not impressed

We thought by staying at the bellagio would be a great experience....but all it was is overrated. We had an expensive lunch the first day we were there at the bellagio cafe and then never ate at that hotel for the rest of the trip. I think it is ridiculous to charge what they did for a hamburger, salad and 2 sodas. There is no food court unlike other similar hotels which are considered just as oppulent if not more so. We were disappointed and couldn’t recommend it to anyone. Now, i see why we have never gone in there. The glass sculptures in the lobby are gorgeous and the conservatory is nice and we finally saw the fountain show (but only because we were staying there). i didn’t think it was worth the money. There are no signs in the business center saying computer use is free if you are using them to check in for your flight. unless, you ask someone that works there because no one offerred any help even after we stood around for a couple minutes. Clearly someone could see we needed help, but no one offered or even acknowdged that we were there. Needless to say, we would not stay at this hotel again.

    Five Star Fabulous

This was my first stay at the Bellagio and let me say I was very impressed! This was my third time in Vegas and by far the best time yet! The room was awesome. It was my birthday weekend so they upgraded us to a room with a jacuzzi tub. The room itself was clean, had wonderful views from both windows, the bed was comfy, and I love how the room had a double sided lighted wardrobe complete with shelves for my shoes! The bathroom had his and hers sinks a jacuzzi bathtub and shower. My only complaint is the lack of tv channels..... but I don’t know if that is something the hotel could help.

    Will Return!!

I could stay at the Ballagio and never leave the hotel. Our only downer was a 30 min line at check in. Room and service was awesome. We were greeted, in English, by anyone working the halls everyday. The Casino wait staff was very attentive and available! Do not miss a SPA day! The coffee shop was my second favorite home and I walked the flower show everyday! Thank you all.

    Travelers tip on local attractions

We decided last min to see ’O’ and requested ’partially obstructed discounted seats’. I learned this on the net. They were the best in the house just against the wall. So we didn’t have to keep turning our head! We did enjoy the show.

    not what i expected

I was a little disapointed in the size of the room for months before our trip (which was my first time to Vegas)every one was saying we were staying in one of the best hotels in Vegas. so i guess i was expecting alot more but the room was normal size was nothing spectacular. All the places to eat was pretty pricey. and there was no place resonably priced in walking distance. but other than that the treatment we got was great and the rooms were clean.

    Love it!

We got a room overlooking the fountains, and it was AMAZING. The fountains were regular and we could barely hear the music, cause the windows were soundproof. The all-you-can-eat buffet encouraged fatty behavior from my children, and the mashed potatoes were like Jesus. The crab legs were also rad as hell. This is undoubtedly the most beautiful hotel on the Vegas strip, and I never want to stay anywhere else. I hate how expensive the Cirque du Soleil stuff is, though.

    Travelers tip on local attractions

Forgo all the gambling and check out the aquarium at Mandalay Bay! Even nerds can love Vegas, even though they took the Star Trek exhibit out.

Not at all impressed with the Bellagio

We stayed @ the Bellagio for our 10th Wedding Anniversary. I was not at all impressed. 5 Star, not in my opinion. I have stayed at 3 star hotels that where much better. The cleanliness of the room was unsatisfactory. I on purpose left some white lint on the middle of the floor. For our entire 3 night stay, the white lint stayed with us, in the same spot on the floor. That shows no one even vacuumed. In the bathroom there where fingerprints on the counters and a few on one of the mirrors. They too where not cleaned. I informed the Management upon departing and they stated they where sorry. I was not happy with this experience and will never stay there again.
