Travelers tip on recreational activities
The Colorado Springs area is excellent for outdoor activity. Overall I would recommend it to others. Nice hotel. They were very accomodating. My sister and I really enjoyed the night shift staff as we were outside during the day and around the hotel in the evening.Great place to stay!
The best part about the hotel is the accomodating staff.
. Great for kids. They have a western village that you can walk thru before the dinner where they have demonstrations of how things were done in the old west. We always have a great time. Food is always good and the show they put on is good family quality.
Travelers tip on dining
We go to Colorado Springs every five years or so and have always taken in the Flying W Ranch for dinner and a show. Our room though, was clean and though a bit dated was comfortable. They could use better vacuums to clean the floors. Definately, showing some years of wear, torn wallpaper and worn carpet. Not the same could be said for the elevators and hallways. The hotel lobby, bar and breakfast area were all very neat and well presented.very quite... Once we were in our room, we heard nothing. The hotel was full with the Air Force Academy Football Team and others.Nice hotel in need of cosmetic work
The staff at the Marriot was very accomodating.
Great service

WOW One of the most beautiful places in the Country. This particular Marriott seems to cater more to the corporate clientele. There was no continental breakfast of any kind - even had to pay for coffee in the lobby. Also had to leave a note EVERY day (we were there for 8 days) to ask for extra sugar for the coffee service in the room. I had to request toilet paper be brought up to the room at one point. Sheets were not changed - actually found a piece of clothing in the bed when we went to bed. Our housekeeping was terrible. Not for vacation travel
This Marriott really left a lot to desire as far as a vacation home away from home.
. Also had a good inexpensive dinner at the hotel restaurant. Everything we asked for at the desk was delivered to the room right away. Very friendly and helpful staff.Beautiful Hotel!
The hotel and the guest rooms were beautiful and looked exactly like the website.
. I would reccommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Hotel employees were very nice and helpful. Very nice clean rooms.Sits up on a hill and the scenery is fantastic..WOULD STAY AGAIN
Wonderful place to stay.
. Be sure to make a free reservation.

The Cog railway to pikes peaks is really amasing things to do. This is a pity, because there is nowhere else to go if you do not want to take your car at the end of the day. The restaurant serves very good breakfast but we were not very satisfied with the other meals. It is also small for lap swimmimg but a nice size for kids to enjoy. The inside swimming pool might be a bit cold for some (did not try the outside one which is surrounded by nature)however there is a jacuzzi and a sauna.)... It is also not far from the major points of interest (Garden of Gods, Pikes peak. The front side of the hotel is on the parking lot, the othe side faces nature and the mountains. Nice clean room, very quiet place, free big parking lot.Good deal, very quiet place
This hotel is a very nice deal for the budget.
A must-see while in Colorado Springs!.

Garden of the Gods is just an exit or 2 down from the Marriott on I-25, a beautiful park with stunning rock formations... I would stay there again. The hotel is clean and in good shape, perhaps re-modeled recently (?) When I first arrived, it did appear as though someone was eating chips in my room and forgot to vacuum, but by the second day, my room was restored to pristine cleanliness, and I was over it. Who needs GPS? After spilling an entire cup of coffee on myself at breakfast, I was able to use the hotels laundry room which was more than adequate.one staffer even Mapquested a destination for me to and from the hotel... The staff was very friendly and helpful in aiding me with directions. Its located just off I-25 in a quiet cul-de-sac area.Great Customer Service
Colorado Springs Marriott was a very pleasant, comfortable stay.
. The view from the room was great.GREAT STAY!
The hotel and hotel staff were excellent.
. 360 degree views at the very top of a 14,000+ foot mountain should be experienced. Take the train or a drive to Pikes Peak.

Check out tourist attractions web sites for dollar off coupons. and a central air system for quiet temperature comfort.V. Comfortable bedding, wide screen T.Great Location and quality amenities
A short drive to tourist sites, freeway, restaurants, and local shopping, yet far enough away to enjoy views with a quiet setting.
But overall it was a nice stay and the beds were awesome!.and they do not have complimentary breakfast, that also really stunk.. Oh. I just thought for a Mariott it would have been a little more upscale, but other than that it was awesome. The view was great, the pools were nice and the service was great. I was expecting it to be a little nicer. They just remolded it.Good Hotel
The hotel itself was not what I expected.
Enjoy. There are many other sites to visit, too many to mention. A short ride will get you to historical Cripple Creek but plan on a day tril for this.

Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs are a must to see for anyone who have time. My wife and I enjoyed our stay here and will definately revisit this hotel in the future. Employees at the bar, specifically Paco, was very attentive and lots of fun. The hotel grounds were pleasant and conducive to relaxation. The view of Pike peak from the our room was beautiful.Very nice place to stay
Hotel employees were very polite and courteous.
. I noticed that they did not clean the room.I will go back if the maintenance is better
I have to request for small things like cofee and cream and I have to do it twice.
Very courteous drivers in the area!. We had no trouble finding anything. Extremely friendly staff! Very tasty buffet breakfasts including omlets and free style eggs, waffles, meats, juices fresh sliced fruits and more!
Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay
Strongly recommend renting a car to see the area.Above all expectations
Stayed in a concierge room on the 9th floor.
. The only negative thing was that the bar/lounge closed at 11 pm as a courtesy to the guests who stayed in rooms over the atrium. The service was excellent, the hotel was clean, the food was fresh and I would stay here again.EXCELLENT HOTEL
I have stayed in many 5 star hotels and this Marriott definitely rivaled many of them.
. Also, there was mold around the bathtub. However, although the air conditioner was on, we were not able to get the room cooler. The room was quiet and the beds were very comfortable.Enjoyed our stay
The outdoor pool area was very nice.
. The food at both the restaurant and the Concierge Lounge was very good. The room smelled musty, but was clean and comfortable. We were given key access to the Concierge Lounge, but our room was on a lower level. We moved back to the Colorado Springs Marriott the following day and although we had a reservation for a Concierge Level room were not given one, again they were overbooked. (That hotel was NOT Good). Upon check-in we were told they were overbooked and that we would be moved for the night to a different hotel.Good Food, Comfortable Bed
This hotel stay was slightly less than what we were expecting.

Not far from many tourist attractions. Overall, a great experience and hotel staff were very accommodating. Also, received free breakfast buffet because rooms were not ready on time. Had a little trouble with housekeeping and towels but the situation was quickly resolved and we received free drinks for the inconvenience.Very nice and a nice price
Very nice hotel and very quiet.
A most enjoyable trip!
Everyone at the hotel from the desk clerks to the room service waiter worked to make sure that we had a great trip!

Garden of the Gods Pikes Peak Air Force Academy Flying W Ranch.
. The room was comfortable/well maintained. The pool was nice and towels were always stocked there. We requested a late check out and were given an extra three hours in our room. We had asked about nearby golf courses and were given directions to Pine Creek.Beautiful Hotel in Colorado Springs!
I was very impressed with the Colorado Springs Marriott! The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was beautiful, the views were amazing.
Make sure to take the kids to the North Pole in Cascade, the Arcade in Manitou and the Flying W Chuck Wagon Dinner in the Garden of the Gods,.
Colorado Springs is a great area for families. We will stay there next year. The pools were great, and the help from the front desk was exceptional. The room was immaculate. The bedding was extraordinary.A business hotel that is family friendly
The hotel is conveniently located right by I25, so we could get anywhere from Manitou to Pueblo easily.
. Breakfast was good but expensive!
