.Very nice clean and new The hotel was very clean this is very importnat to my wife if it gets her approval it has to be the best and she was very pleased.

. Overall, I would suggest it needs a bit more attention to detail to really make it great. Beyond that, the hotel was solid. The coffee was good though. For some reason it seemed like they were not being refreshed (or at least, not during the 20 minutes I spent there each morning). The breakfast room was consistently out of eggs by 8AM, which meant breakfast was limited to carb-based foods. I did not have time to handle this with the hotel, thus cannot comment on their responsiveness to something of this nature, but it was certainly an unpleasant surprise. For the most part it was fine; however, I had a shirt ruined by the iron in the room which had some black material stuck to its surface that was transferred to the shirt before I realized what was going on.Solid for business stay, some minor issues I picked this hotel on a business trip to Draper, as it appeared as the only 3-star hotel in the area.

That’s why I give this hotel a 3 instead of a 4/5!. Can’t hotels be built in future with central airconditioning: much less noise. However: Why-oh-why do good hotels always have those rattling (=sound of a rusty diesel locomotive starting up) airconditioning units in their rooms? According to the hotel that was the next thing to be renovated, let’s hope they do so very quickly.Replace those rambling airco units! This hotel is quite confortable and conveniently located close to the South Towne shopping district and all kinds of other locations in Salt Lake City.

. Lot of traffic but moves quickly. Near shopping centers. Travelers tip Plenty of places to eat for all budgets. Nice stay for grandaughters graduation. Close to freeway but out of the way of traffic. Comfortable room.MULTIDAY STAY OK Better that average breakfast.

. Travelers tip on shopping The hotel is just a hop, skip, and jump from the large shopping mall and also from State Street where there are lots of shops scattered along it for miles. The desk person gave us some wonderful tips on places to eat. If we got tired of eing in the room we just took our books to the fabulous reception area where we could read where it was nice and quiet. The nice hotel made us anxious to come back and spend time there.We want to go ack very soon! We felt like we were at the very top of the world.

. The Country Inn happy hour is free with free refills and, as such, is a great respite from this. Travelers tip Due to Salt Lake’s unique liquor laws an $8 glass of wine or a $7 martini will barely have a thimblefull of contents. Kids had a wonderful time. Pool and hot tub in good shape. Great breakfast and happy hour from 6pm to 7pm. Discount ski passes available for purchase at desk. Very convenient to all local skiing. Great location - lots of dining options and shopping nearby, (including pharmacies). Changes and requests handled promptly and courteously. New remodel with great design and decor! My husband and I enjoy frequent "get-a-ways" in our area! We were very pleased with our stay at Country Inn! . We have paid much more elsewhere and gotten much less value - Expedia creates the bargain. Fresh and new, above-average breakfast, clean and comfortable, helpful smiling staff - everything you could ask for.There’s nothing llike NEW! Too many places have indoor entryways and think they can call themselves a ’hotel’ - but not this place.

Had excellent service at Chilis!. Many more close by. Travelers tip on dining Restaurants in the area were: Mimis Cafe, TGIFridays, Olive Garden, and Chilis. If the price is right, this hotel gets a passing grade, otherwise one might look for other options. Found the rooms comfortable, yet quite small for a "suite". The rates were better than many others we looked at and that was important on this trip. The staff was very friendly and eager to help.Good Location This hotel is close to I15, lots of restaurants, and a large mall.
