. Giles gave us a chance to practice French - not expecting that in Boise. The serving staff at breakfast was excellent. The location was centrally located with respect to the airport, downtown, Kuna and other places we needed to go. The compelling courtyard with fountain and flame coupled with a nightcap from the bar made for a nice end to a busy day.Very Nice Stay The ambiance of this hotel and its location made for a much better stay than anticipated.

. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Everyone was impressed with the rooms, the staff, and the overall stay - even though we were there for a very short visit. We talked about the hotel on the way to the airport. I didn’t even have to get frustrated with anyone - it was natural for them to want their guests to be happy. This place was awesome! The folks at the front desk were very accommodating, and when we had to change rooms late in the evening, they put us in an available room with extra beds at no additional charge. I’ll have to say that I rarely go anywhere where this is not something annoying about the personnel or the location.Courtyard my Marriot Boise West Meridian - AWESOME! . There is a Sherry’s just down the road towards Meridian on Eagle Road. Travelers tip on dining I would not recommend the breakfast buffet as it is quite pricey. The staff were wonderful and very friendly. Movie prices were a bit high. We were surprised that we had to pay for the breakfast buffet as similar ones are included at other hotels. It would have been nice to have a little gift/stocking upon our arrival as it was on Christmas Day itself. The hotel on all accounts was very nice.Christmas week at the Courtyard.

We asked for two queens and were given a king and a double sofa bed that they claimed was queen.Disappointed We were very disappointed in the size of the room, the popcorn in the sofa bed and our inability to make any changes when we arrived.

. There were lots of shops and places to eat close by. The location of the hotel was perfect. Other than that it was a very nice stay. The room was clean but if you looked under the dust ruffle there were candy bits not cleaned up there was a wad of hair in the shower that was clearly not ours. Travelers tip The root cause of the encountered problem and expense is seen as the manager not properly communicating with her clerks that I had prepaid the breakfast charges. You need to let Marriott know what occurs in Meridian. This is not what I expected to have to deal with. This is not what I expected to find at a touted Marriott Hotel in Meridian, Idaho. I lucked out by actually talking to the clerk who made the mistake. It took the expense of two long-distance phone calls to finally resolve the discrepancy. After having been promised by a clerk on our departure day that he would resolve the issue and call by telephone to our residence, nothing happened. Prepaid breakfast tickets from manager were subsequently billed by clerk to room charges.Very good, but clerking staff and manager could be more reliable.

.Liked Hotel - hated the room Hotel was very nice, but our room (a suite) on the 4th floor was apparently directly under the heating/air machinery -- EXTREMELY NOISY at NIGHT! I had to sleep with my IPOD on to block out the noise.

Miserably cold outside (to a Californian), making this place feel all the more warm inside.
