The rooms weren’t too impressive but, they were funtional and comfortable enough, as long as you don’t expect too much.It’s okay We stayed for two nites here, the room was "okay", the view from the bottom floor room of the Ocean wasn’t that great, they’re were trees blocking the view, but, you were close enough that you could listen to the waves crash on shore.

. We saw a whale blowing air in the water. The rugged beach’s attraction is "spouting horns". There are seals in the harbour who are often thrown fish scraps. Both Lincoln City and Newport are within comfortable driving distance. Travelers tip on local attractions Other than the hotel Depoe Bay is a very cute, family oriented seaside town. Unless you are booking late and need to stay in the area, we would recommend looking elsewhere for a good night’s rest. The continental breakfast was percolated coffee and very sweet muffins. The bathroom floor was not very clean. The hotel is right on highway 101, the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbour’s TVs. However, the quality of these features is lacking. The hotel has added many "features" to attract including in-room jacuzzi, swimming pool, and continental breakfast.Not impressed The Crown Pacific Depoe Bay did not impress us in our recent stay.

. It was beautiful outside but the hotel room was so stuffy and the only way to get fresh air was to leave the slider open at night and hope for a breeze. Unfortunately for us it was one of those very warm windless coast stays. This is not uncommon on the Oregon coast since it is rarely warm enough to warrent air conditioning.Nice and cozy The only real complaint we had was that there is no air conditioning.
