. Will need a car as the hotel does not have a shuttle. Super Wal-Mart less than 5. Fast food restaurants down the road about 2-5 minutes. Highly recommend it for any traveler! Travelers tip on dining Area is rural. Attentive to every need of their guests. A smile every morning as I went to breakfast.One of the best Days Inn I have stayed at! The staff were very friendly and helpful.

. Great job with that. I was actually pleasantly surprised to see the refrigerator. We were glad for the refrigerator in our room so I could house the creamer I purchased in. I expect real cream or creamer. There was powdered creamer, which I expect in the hotel room, but not in the dining room. The first day we came down at 8:30, and there was no fresh fruit left. The complementary breakfast was substandard.An average place -- and bring your own coffee creamer! We were in Grinnell to see family.

. Great school in nowhere-ville. Travelers tip on local attractions Not much to see or do in Grinnell but visit the college, which is what we were doing. Smokers in the room across the hall made my room smell smoky. Large rooms in an older (1970s??) hotel, but updated, clean, and comfortable. This hotel is fine.Not Much in Grinnell There are few choices for a room in Grinnell Iowa.

Great inexpensive motel Loved the breakfast bar, and ease of access to I-80 and Grinnell Travelers tip on dining Kelcy’s Restauraunt was the best!.
