. Had a blast at Cripple Creek and its a nice drive. The Cave of Winds was fun also. Its a fun ride to the summit. Travelers tip on local attractions I would recommend the Cog Railway to Pikes Peak. We couldnt have found a better place for the price. It was a great location for all of the area sites.Great for the price The Days Inn was new and very clean.



. Good location, free breakfast, good price and good service. All and all a very nice place to stay. A choice of pillow would be an added luxury. The only real complaint I have is that the motel has thick pillows and it was hard to get a good nights sleep. Good local food nearby and they offered a contintal breakfast. The location was close to downtown Manitou and several other attractions in the area. The hotel was very nice and clean, the maids were very through in making sure our room was clean daily and resupplied.Courtious service; very clean.



. That took away from the experience and the reason for getting a room with a hot tub. The water temp was luke warm at best. That was a treat! Only complaint, I stayed in a room with a hot tub.Brand new! I will always look for "brand new" hotels.
