. You sort of get what you pay for if convenience is at the top of your list.need I say more... However, the place is dirty, dingy, and needs to be updated.
If youre looking for a place close to the airport then you will have it here....Convenient to airport.
. But I never heard a plane and the bus driver and clerk were quite accomodating for my late arrival. There could have been more stations; or more variety for that matter. Breakfast is from 6 to 9 and it was very crowded so it was hard to grab some food for later and get back to bed. There is absolutely nothing to eat or drink available at that time except by vending machines.Quiet place near airport
I wasnt here long as I arrived at 2am.
. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The shuttle helps a lot if you need to go to the airport.Suitable if you need to stay close to the airport
The hotel is good with simple breakfast included.
Cheap price too!. Id defintaly stay. Restaurant on site. You can park your car and fly and they give a discount. Right down the street from rental cars and airport but no loud airport noise.Cheap and well worth it :)
We just stayed there for one night but a very clean room.
. Breakfast was average for a hotel on this price bracket. Its right across the airport and the shuttle works perfectly.Good service
if you need a place to sleep before a flight, this hotel will do it.
. Only plus, is that it is very close to the airport and would use it for Park and Fly. Free breakfast in the morning was not good, poorly presented and limited choices, have had better at other chain hotels. Not many options for dinner in the immediate area. Lasagna was dreadful, soggy pasta, tiny bits of meat and a smattering of ricotta cheese -avoid this entree. Had dinner there one night only.Nothing special
Average Days Inn.
. The hotel was very sound proofed. They ran fairly regularly.Close to Metro Airport
We didnt have to wait very long for the hotel shuttles.
Comfortable clean room.Nice hotel.
. Basic hotel, not lush, but great prices. Close to the airport.Close to the airport
Very reasonable hotel.
. I was impressed. While I did not eat at the restaurant inside, I noticed some healthier options-including a vegetarian option of a gardenburger-that one would almost never find at these establishments. Breakfast offered more than you might typically expect from a hotel chain. When booking the room, a smoking room was the only one available, yet I could not notice any hint of a cigarette scent (and I do not smoke).Very friendly!
The room was pleasant and inviting.
. They run a very punctual and regular shuttle service to the airport as well. would definitely recommend the place for anyone visiting detroit. The rooms are clean and spacious andd overall the stay is very comfortable. The restaurant downstairs serves very good food.Excellent value for money
The hotel has very courteous and helpful staff.
. It turned out to be a great idea and we appreciated the suggestion very much. The weather was bad so the concierge suggested we take the hotel shuttle over to the airport to pick up our son and then come back to pick up our car.Stayed overnight to avoid driving in the storm
We chose this hotel because it was reasonably priced and was within a mile of Detroit airport.
. I would stay there again with no hesitation.Nice Facilities in Safe Neighborhood
Much nicer facilities and neighborhood than expected for being in the Detroit metropolitan area.
Eat elsewhere before you check in!.
Travelers tip on dining
Non-smokers beware. Its mind boggling why a choice would be made to expose everyone to such unhealthy air especially when there is only one option available. Unfortunately the restaurant/bar was so filled with cigarette smoke, it made dining there extremely unpleasant. Also, having been dropped off by a friend, we wanted a place that had a restaurant.Only one major problem with this lodging
My husband and I booked a room here because we had a very early flight the next morning and wanted to avoid a long, early morning drive.
. Planning on returning in Dec and useing this hotel again.Good Choice and value
My wife and I were very happy with this hotel, not the GM Grand, but for the price, location to airport and car rental it was a great deal.
. Prices reasonable, selection was average but our food was very good.
Travelers tip on dining
Small dining room/bar. I could occasionally hear a plane taking off or landing but it wasnt too loud. The room was clean. The entire staff that I dealt with, front desk clerks, waitress at restaurant, and shuttle driver were extremely friendly and professional.Good Value
My daughters and I stayed here before an early flight from Metro, the hotel is very close to the airport, about a 10 minute trip.
. For the price, it was a great place to crash for the night. The building is old, but it is kept clean. The hotel is easy access to highway 94 that goes downtown. The hotel is a block from where we rented a Hertz car at the airport.Convenient & Comfortable
We flew into Detroit for a concert and were staying just one night.
. Everything from check-in to check out was spectacular! I would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to my friends and family. After breakfast the driver took us to the car rental across the street and sent us on our way. The breakfast in the morning was very good. We were very pleased with the food and the service, our waitress was a lot of fun. For dinner we decided to try the restaurant inside the hotel, Wings Bar & Grill. The room was very clean and comfortable. Our room was a deluxe king room with a microwave and fridge, which was very convenient. The staff at the hotel is wonderfully courteous and helpful, from the front desk to the drivers to management.Great Place to Stay
We stayed at this hotel in July and had an excellent time! We flew in for a family wedding and chose this hotel because its located close to the airport and has free airport shuttle.
