Travelers tipGood locationRating:4
Very helpfulThe front desk clerks were very helpful to us in directing us to the places we wanted to see and places to go.Rating:5
We will use againThe hotel was in a great location and was easy to get to town.Rating:4
Air conditioner problemThe only reason I give this hotel low ratings on comfort is that our room was very humid. I think the air conditioner was not working properly, but I did not inform management, it was a short stay. The staff was very helpful in other ways, and the hotel was very clean and the breakfast was good.Rating:2
Good Value HotelConvient parking and clean environment, kind service.
Travelers tip on local attractionsThe music house museum (~10 mins drive from Hotel) give very good tour guide and excellent insight. Very good for a 1-2 hours visit.Rating:1
very good hotel to stay for vacation.very good hotel to say for vacation. really good price by good quality. All rooms with air condition and TV. Hotel has an indoor pool, which can be used nearly around the clock. Also the breakfast is very good. A complimentary Continental breakfast between 07AM and 10AM.Rating:5
Excellent stay, great locationHotel staff was very goodRating:2
not impressed at all.carpets need to be cleaned. bed blankets are disgusting, need something thats soft! and clean! no security. some doors to the outdoors were not locked at all. especially at night. had to replace my room cards twice, because I couldnt open my room doors.Rating:4
Great deal in off season!!We really enjoyed this motel stay. The one down side was that the jets in the spa tub werent working. Nice continental breakfast! This was the 1st time in a LONG time we left full. Nice hotel would stay here again.Rating:5
would stay here againgreat hotel!! We were a bit concerned at 1st, they had our check in day a few days later than what it was. but they took care of it and set us up. great service, very friendly, and very clean!Rating:4
Very comfortable--Would go back anytime!Nice hotel, very comfortable, little disappointed with the breakfastRating:5
Really nice for the priceA friend and I took our daughters to the Cherry Festival and stayed at this hotel. I was a little leery at first due to a bad experience at another Days Inn, but I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and quiet, didnt even hear the dog down the hallway! The pool was really nice. We upgraded to a suite when we arrived. The girls were impressed with the "Bed in the wall!" I would definately stay here again when I come to Traverse City.
Travelers tip on local attractionsTake a drive up the Leelanau Peninsula and visit Suttons Bay and Leland. Cute shops, lots to look at and Fishtown in Leland is very cool. Even cool enough to impress 2 teenage girls!Rating:4
Nice hotelWish it would have a microwave and fridge.
Travelers tip on diningDont eat at Scheldes Grille and Spirits. Prime Rib was tough and had no flavor. Order a steak rare and it came out medium well. Didnt pay for meal since we didnt eat it. The Blue Tractor Cookshop is greatRating:4
Traverse City Days InnThis is the second time Ive stayed here. The location is convenient to Traverse City and the rest of northwest Michigan. The room was nice - though I would have prefered nicer glasses (styrofoam cups were a little disappointing). As I just needed a base and no frills, the Days Inn was perfect.Rating:4
nice placenice place - good size poolRating:1
Bad experienceThere were way too many unsupervised children creating havoc in the halls and at night. The hotel smelled funny, but my room was fine. I will not stay there again.Rating:4
Very ImpressedThis hotel was very clean and has a great pool for the kids
Travelers tip on local attractionsThere are so many thing to see and do. Hopefully we are able to go back some time to see and do moreRating:5
A good value for the moneyThe room met our needs just fine. It had a micro- wave, fridge & free wireless internet. Bed was comfortable w/plenty of pillows. The free break- fast is very basic consisting of pasteries, bagels, muffins, pre-made waffles, boiled eggs, cereal, coffee, milk and juice. Food quality was nothing to write home about. Hotel is centrally located-very short drive to downtown & beaches. Would stay here again.
Travelers tip on diningGios is a pizza/panini shop that has great italian food at low prices. Its my favorite place to go for lunch.Rating:4
very niceThis hotel was quiet and clean and the beds were very comfortable.Rating:4
Fair Hotel for a GetawayClean room, continental breakfast, courteous staff, fair prices, in summary this hotel has everything for you to enjoy a short stay. And being in Traverse City, you will not want to stay in the room with so many options of sightseeing and sports. Great value !Rating:5
Good place to stayI was very satisfied with all aspects of my stay at Days Inn. Courteous service, clean rooms. (Though I was surprised there wasnt an option to not have used towels replaced daily, as there was for bed linens.) Continental breakfast had plenty of choices, including fresh fruit. It snowed almost every day, but the driveway and sidewalks were cleared within a reasonable time.
Travelers tip on diningI dont eat out much except when traveling, and am generally looking for good food food for a good price, not anything fancy in terms of food or atmosphere. The Days Inn restaurant was very good, as was Mabels (down the block toward Eighth).
