There was someone at the front desk - I didn’t have to ring a bell and wait.Very Friendly I was very happy upon arrival - at 1:15AM.

Would recommend to friends.Nice hotel with great value! Conveniently located, well maintained, accommodating hotel with restaurant, work out room, pool, great value, and delicious chocolate chip cookies! Straight forward, forty minute drive into NYC.

. Hotel was very easy to find and on a strip that had a lot of shopping and dining options. The pool towels were the large beach like towels which was a nice touch. The indoor pool allowed us to enjoy family quality time into the late evening hours. The staff was very attentive and accomodating. The warm cookies we got upon arrival were delicious.Excellent Close get away We had a wonderful stay at the Doubletree.

and staff was OUTSTANDING,.We asked to speak to the manager the next day , planning to check out BUT he reasigned us and the rest of the stay was excellent .Checking in TOur check in was awful , taken care of an unfriendly , unhelpful agent , and we were assigned a terrible room , not a king size as asked for and no adjoining suite was available either.

If for some reason you have to kick around Mahwah for a few days, you shouldn’t have any problems staying at this hotel. The Wi-fi was a nice bonus.) After a Christmas sugar cookie binge I decided to hit the fitness center; it was well-stocked with a water cooler, numerous clean, well-maintained machines, a tv, and New York Magazines.(There were big puffy down blankets + plenty of pillows on my bed .They totally give you cookies When you check into the hotel, they give you warm chocolate chip cookies; they’re awesome ! The fun does not end their, either ; I found my room to be both tidy and comfortable.

Travelers tip use the back entrance after checking in for easy access to the elevator, but there is 2 steps. I will stay there in the future. The pub had great food anf the bar was hopping until about 12. I was not booked at my usual hotel but was pleasantly surprised with this one, The internet worked great and was free in the room as well as the lobby and busines center.I will be staying there again I travel frequently on business to mahwah and had to stay ove on a Friday this last trip.
