. What’s the point in booking something if you’re going to get something else?! I probably will not return. They said there weren’t any more king beds. I booked a king size bed but ended up with a double bed room by the pool.Disappointed.

. Travelers tip on saving a few bucks They get you for parking. Clean & comfortable.Nice place to stay.

I do recoment this one... Speciallly went you travel 500 miles to see yours family and this hotel employee make you feel like you are special...I like it I was exelent hotel.

.0/night). Travelers tip on nightlife If you stay at this hotel, you must pay for using parking lot($12.Not impressed It was clean, but I don’t want to stay any more.

Nice very good service.

. I can not wait to come back. My room was very clean and housekeeping did a great job cleaning my room. The staff members were very friendly and my bed was comfortable.Fantastic hotel!! This hotel is great, I would stay there again.

.50 a night to park your car in the lot next to the hotel. Travelers tip Also plan on paying an additional $12. I personally would not stay in this hotel again. Perhaps it was just the room they assigned us but it did not even come close to comparing to any of the other Doubletrees that I have stayed in before. - what’s the point of that:-), and it was kind of dark and dingy in the room. There was no bath mat, no regular coffee (only decaf. I’ve stayed in many Doubletrees around the country before and the rooms in this one were by far not as nice as any other Doubletree. Saturday morning they started doing some work, including significant noise, on top of the roof at 8 am. It was on the 3rd floor and overlooked an attached roof with air conditioning units on top. Our room however was nothing special. Is this really a Doubletree? This Doubletree located in downtown Wilmington, DE had a nice facade and the people that worked there were pleasant.

. Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay Close to a multitude of wonderful restaurants and historical sites. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will not hesitate to return on our next trip to Wilmington. Very easy to get to from I-95 and easy to get back to I-95 all without your GARMIN! Parking was convenient and expensive as in most cities, but a cost of staying in the city. Very Quiet and Relaxing! One of the finest hotel staffs await your every need with a smile.CONVENIENT, CONVENIENT, CONVENIENT!!!! Hotel was very nicely appointed with all the amenities of a much higher priced hotel.

. Also the rooms are extremely quiet.Best consistancy of quality Only once did our room smell slightly of smoke, otherwise every time we have stayed here the room and service have been excellent.

I have never been disappointed in the service or accomodations. This is a GREAT place to stay This is the fourth time I have stayed at this hotel.

. We had to call security who did take care of the problem after a while. However our night sleep was interupted by a fight in the room next door.Liked the Hotel We liked the hotel, clean nice room, etc.

. The parking lot is easily accessed, but one can miss the parking lot entrance if you aren’t watching carefully! I’ll certainly go back. The hotel was comfortable; especially the beds. The staff is friendly, professional, helpful.Very impressed and convenient to downtown Willmington This hotel is a block off of Market Street and easy walking distance to The Grand Opera House.

. Get a map if you want to drive because Willmington has it’s share of one way streets etc. You can walk to all of the including an opera house and YMCA. Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay There are several nice resturants close by. overall I still give it a 4 because it is a very nice place and clean, with a nice resturant, lounge, and pool. It was fixed in a few minutes at the front desk(I brought my Expedia reciept) but it should never had happened considering the info was right in front of them in the computer. I explained this at check in,yet at check out they tried to charge my credit card for the entire stay. I booked two nights with Expedia and added the extra night over the phone at a later date. For some reason there was no service on Sunday and when asked why,the front desk had no answer. We only had maid service on Saturday(which was done correctly, with attention to detail so good job maid staff). We stayed 2 days and 3 nights.Very nice but, staff issues The room was very nice and clean when we arrived but there were 2 issues.

. Great value, comfort and location.Super Quality and Location Stay couldn’t have been better.

. Travelers tip on dining A wonderfully happy dining room interior design and easy meals offered at the bar as well. Very convienient location and ease of on and off I 95.A great deal more than a DoubleTree Cookie This Doubletree is in pristine condition and only one block from Wilmington’s Victorian Opera House.
