Nice TripHotel was very nice, however, even though we made and paid for our reservation 4 to 6 weeks in advance, we were informed upon arrival our room was not available and had to settle for a room with 2 queen beds. We requested a room with 1 king bed. Food was very good but too expensive.Rating:4
very clean affordable hotelgot checked in early, very clean, staff friendly, would recommend this hotel to anyone
Travelers tip on saving a few bucksin the heart of the strip and affordableRating:3
No coffeemaker in the room.Room did not look at all like the picture on the website. No coffeemaker is the room and a one hour wait for room service coffee.
Travelers tip for business travelersDont rent a car.Rating:3
nice locationnice being right in the center of the strip.Rating:2
not impressedwe were so far from the elevator we could have walked to another hotel. first room light broken in bathroom the switch. tub clogged and sink second room roof view third room not bad.Rating:4
Good StayEnjoyed the stay, would recommend it to anyone wanting a budget hotel right on the strip, it was right between everything and had great service. Only 1 downfall, you cant check in through the airport so we had to wait through a 45 minute line to check in.Rating:4
Good value for this hotelThe staff was very helpful and the location was excellent for people who wish to be on the strip.Rating:3
Not what I was expecting!!!The hotel is one of the older looking in the area. The room was OK, but a bit weathered for wear. We were only there for 2 days, I might shop around more the next trip.Rating:3
Not impressedHotel had trouble with Expedia reservations! They took time to find it. The room was about a mile from the lobby. As I have weak heart I had to stop 3 and four times to catch my breath. The hotel is adequate at best!
Travelers tip on saving a few bucksI am confident there are better hotels for the price!Rating:4
Nice hotel....great pool and gardens! We enjoyed our stay at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas. I thought that the room could have been a little bit better than it was. For instance there were 2 lamps on the table close to the door of the room and neither one was actually plugged into any outlet! You had to go all the way into the room to turn on a light! (It was as if they were only there as show!) Also there was a bulb burned out in one of the bathroom lights making it dark on one side....not much fun when doing my makeup! The pool and gardens were fabulous and we had a roaring good time at Margaritaville! The salmon was superb!
Travelers tip on shoppingBe sure to wear comfortable and sturdy walking shoes!Rating:2
Old and worn outRooms were old and worn. Spots on carpet, old bathroom fixtures, skimpy bedding, crummy sheets. Not enough seating around pool. Lifeguards were mean looking and un-friendly, even to each other! No children on strip at night! The constant stream of porno was a real turn off.Rating:4
Good locationWe have stayed at the Flamingo before, we like the location and the size of the hotel. Some of the hotels are so big that you have to walk a mile just to get to your room. However, we have noticed the condition of the hotel is suffering it needs an upgrade and better service. They have NO coffeemakers in the room, so be prepared to find coffee somewhere else.Rating:2
Very very disappointedOur room was not what we booked. It was small and dirty. Bathroom unkept and blanket had stains on it. Manager at check in was rude and unconcerned with our complaints.Rating:4
will return againthe hotel is great but they need to update more of the rooms. The one I was in, the water pressure barely got you wet and the hair dryer wouldnt dry my hair. The main restaurant closed at 11:00 pm and there was no place to get coffee unless I ordered room service.Rating:5
great hotel, convenient locationafter a night in the hotel, we upgraded to the GO room. I would highly recommend upgrading if you want the Vegas feel. The location of the hotel is perfect and their is a monorail station in the back. Id definitel go backJRating:4
Very good location on the stripWe were satisfied with the cleanliness. The temperature control for the room was very satisfactory. Not noisy and drafty.
Travelers tip on saving a few bucksVery reasonable room at a modest price.Rating:3
A Nice Place to BeAlthough the Flamingo is not the most glamorous place to stay in Vegas, its location is wonderful. This means that as a visitor, you get all the benefits of staying near places such as Caesars Palace without the expense of staying there.
Travelers tip on diningBattistas Hole in the Wall restaurant is amazing! Make sure you make reservations though. I do not recommend having a concierge making them.Rating:5
they upgraded our roomWe were sad to have to leave at 5AM to get to the airport!Rating:4
Great hotel for the priceBeautiful hotel. Centrally located on the strip. Friendly staff. Great price. Cant wait to go back, would definitely stay there again!Rating:1
NOT IMPRESSED!Do not stay at this hotel! Maybe the newer rooms are better. The old part, which is NOT where we thought we would be, is dirty, dingy and just nasty. The toilet paper dispenser was falling out of the wall, I had to ask for a box of tissues, the lighting was terrible. The furniture was stained and old. The air conditioning was not very cool. We were told upon check-in that we would most likely be able to have a late check out. Well, when we asked, the day before we left, we were told no. There was a place to leave your luggage, but our flight was late in the day and we had hoped to stay by the pool until check out. The pool area was dirty. Only one, maybe two beverage servers poolside. The lounge chairs were dirty, the ground was littered. Dirty towels were thrown everywhere. On the weekend it was very crowded and nasty. I would never stay here again. Very low class establishment!Rating:3
Standard Room is betterI stayed in "Go Luxury Strip View " this time. The color of the room was white and pink. May be suitable for younger couples. The area of the room was narrower than standard rooms I usually stay. So I dont recommend "Go Luxury Strip View ". I recommend standard rooms instead.Rating:4
would go backthe hotel could a facelift.Rating:5
Would go back in a heart beat.Really enjoyed our stay liked that our room faced the strip. Was very impressed with the gardens and habitat very beautiful the pools were very nice but water was a little cool not heated. Wish some of the smaller pools would have been open more when there was to many people in the larger pool were playing volleyball. Liked the whole inside of the hotel casino and shops and eating places very nice. Only problem was that when ordering drinks at Bugsys Bar asked for just a rum and coke and was given Barcardi which cost more didnt ask for it and the bartender said one price then charged more for the Barcardi didnt go back to that bar again. Would stay there again when I go back.Rating:3
not impressedCant use points in all the shops or restaurants
Travelers tip on diningDont visit Burger Joint....TerribleRating:3
not impressedThe room was clean, however in poor material condition. Many things needed repaired, mostly cosmetic, but at the price we paid we would expect better. Checking in was long and unreasonable. It took in excess of 45 minutes standing in line to get checked in. This was on a Thursday afternoon. We have never waited that long at any other hotel in Vegas or any where else. In summary, they need to either remodel or tear it down and rebuild. If anything less they should lower their prioes.
