Satisfied.Hotel restaurant was so-so, and low price did not include breakfast.Rating:4
Good Rate, Clean and ComforableThe Grand Vista has a great rate and the rooms a newly remodeled. (at least the single king they gave me). The decor is cheap, but the room was clean and the bathroom was good sized and new. I would reccomend this hotel due to the cost and friendly staff. I got their late at night and left for an early morning flight, so I did not expirience any of the other amenities.Rating:4
Wed stay againWe selected this hotel because it had good ratings, and was considerable less expensive than the chain hotels in the area. It exceeded expectations!
Travelers tip on local attractionsDont miss the drive through the Colorado National Monument - start at the north end.Rating:5
Great and Pleasantly SurprisedHotel very nice and clean. Staff super and very helpful. Room, amenities, and service great. Nice indoor heated pool with spa. "Happy hour" very affordable and appreciated. Dining Room terrific but I thought a little pricey. Will definitely stay there again.
Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stayWhether for business, personal or family, this was well worth the rate, compared to all other local hotels.Rating:5
Would/will stay here againFriendly staff, quiet, clean, comfortable rooms. Good rates for the quality of accomodations.Rating:3
Dated hotel, needs more remodeling, but a great priceWe stayed at this hotel on two separate nights on our 10 day vacation. The second night was booked through Expedia at a great price. Our room on the 5th floor was rather old and the carpet and walls were musty (but the room for our previous stay on the 6th floor was much newer). The bed and bathroom were clean and our room was good overall. Our biggest problem: no luggage carts when we needed them!
Travelers tip on saving a few bucksThis hotel has some great deals via the internet as compared to other hotels in town, probably because the hotel looks older and dated. It is a 3 star hotel but really is a 2 1/2 star at a great price.Rating:5
Best hotel in Grand Junction Co. for the priceGrand Vista Hotel in Grand Junction,Co.is the best hotel that we have stayed in while there for the peach festival.I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Grand Junction Co.Rating:4
Convenient to airportJust stayed overnight on a trip fishing when I arrived the night before the rest of my party. No problems and would stay here again.Rating:2
NoiseyThough between the rooms the walls are created to be quite. The noise came through the door like a wind tunnel. I even heard the housekeeper opening plastic bags through the door, let alone all conversations. The bathroom fan was also very loud.Rating:4
Dog-Friendly HotelPrompt service, comfortable room. Dog friendly hotel.Rating:3
Not impressedChecked in at 3:30 and they assigned a room that was still being cleaned. Bedding and towels were wadded up on the floor. Had to carry all my bags back down to the desk to get a different room. Waited at the restaurant for over 15 minutes, at a table, without even getting a menu! There was only one other person in the restaurant. I gave up and left to eat somewhere else.Rating:5
Loved it!We only had a one night stay, but it was very nice, have no complaints at all. All around comfort and good service. The only negative thing was the inconvenience of the bathroom off the pool area, but that was due to remodeling. Would definitely recommend it as a comfortable and clean place to stay.Rating:5
Lovely, no complaintsReally, I loved the place, no complaintsRating:3
Nice hotelWe had a very pleasant stay at the hotel, the pool was extremely chlorinated but the rooms were very nice, a fridge and a comfortable bed, nice shower. The only complaint I had with the whole stay was that the restaurant advertised it was open until 10:00 but closed at 9:30. I had to leave my young child outside the lounge, go in and place an order to go to get food. We ran into another family with kids who stated the restaurant staff closed the gate, locking the restaurant right in front of their face, well before 9:30. The restaurant should have stayed open until the advertised time, they had customers. The manager at the desk basically left us to our own devices with the lounge after finding out we wanted food. The food when we got it, was quite good and the lounge staff member was very accomodating that helped a lot.
Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stayDont depend on the restaurant staying open to advertised time.Rating:4
Good Location, Good Room, Good PriceThis hotel is near a few other properties, but stands out in that the price was very reasonable for the quality of accomodations - the room was clean, comfy beds, indoor pool. The only odd part was the very full parking lot - it was difficult to find a space that was convenient to the entrance. Overall, a nice hotel, especially because of the price!Rating:5
Great experienceHotel was better than expected for discount rate offered. Could not find fault with anything as room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. Did swim and pool was nice. Overall, a very good experience.Rating:4
Better than expectedHotel was better value than we expected. We were in the less expensive rooms on the upper floors and didnt expect much but were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and comfortable and that was just what we were looking for. Staff at the front desk were courteous and helpful. Planned to get in the car and drive somewhere for breakfast in the morning but were also surprised to find a nice buffet just off the lobby.Rating:4
Grand VistaNice place but the bathrooms seem quite outdated.Rating:4
stayed while husband was in hospital, was very satified with the hotel and their assistanceWe were very satified with the hotel and their service. The rooms were very pleasant and with a very good view. I would recomment this hotel to anyone.Rating:4
Very good hotel especially for the money.I would return to this hotel. The room was clean and the hotel was well maintained. The restaurant was good, but one of the nights we had dinner there was only one waitress and the service was very slow.Rating:3
functionalokay for quick stopover - stayed because they take small pets - no elevator to the floor we stayed on so hassle with luggage - place a bit tired but staff greatRating:4
Good family DestinationWe found that the hotel was a good stop for an overnight stay. It was clean. While we didnt use it the pool/sauna looked like it was clean. The hotel staff were very helpful. While on the outer edge of the city, Grand Junction is small enough that you are not really not that far away from anything.Rating:3
suitable for overnight trip and cheapNothing special but suitable for overnight.Rating:4
Good experienceOur experience was a good one - just a one night stay during a vacation trip to Denver. Only complaint is the small swimming pool was crowded with unsupervised teens and therefore not conducive to a relaxing soak in the hot tub, which is what we wanted after a long day of driving.
Travelers tip on diningThe nearby WW Peppers restaurant, recommended by others, does not have a posted closing time, and they refused to seat us as they "stopped seating people five minutes ago", even though it was before 9pm on a Friday night and the place was still busy. The Village Inn across the street was a good choice for breakfast the following morning.Rating:5
Great Hotel, will stay there again! The hotel was clean and the staff was wonderful. We had no problems or complaints!
