Hotel restaurant was so-so, and low price did not include breakfast.Satisfied.
. I got their late at night and left for an early morning flight, so I did not expirience any of the other amenities. I would reccomend this hotel due to the cost and friendly staff. The decor is cheap, but the room was clean and the bathroom was good sized and new. (at least the single king they gave me).Good Rate, Clean and Comforable
The Grand Vista has a great rate and the rooms a newly remodeled.
. It exceeded expectations!
Travelers tip on local attractions
Dont miss the drive through the Colorado National Monument - start at the north end.Wed stay again
We selected this hotel because it had good ratings, and was considerable less expensive than the chain hotels in the area.

Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay
Whether for business, personal or family, this was well worth the rate, compared to all other local hotels. Will definitely stay there again. Dining Room terrific but I thought a little pricey. "Happy hour" very affordable and appreciated. Nice indoor heated pool with spa. Room, amenities, and service great. Staff super and very helpful.Great and Pleasantly Surprised
Hotel very nice and clean.
. Good rates for the quality of accomodations.Would/will stay here again
Friendly staff, quiet, clean, comfortable rooms.
. It is a 3 star hotel but really is a 2 1/2 star at a great price. Our biggest problem: no luggage carts when we needed them!
Travelers tip on saving a few bucks
This hotel has some great deals via the internet as compared to other hotels in town, probably because the hotel looks older and dated. The bed and bathroom were clean and our room was good overall. Our room on the 5th floor was rather old and the carpet and walls were musty (but the room for our previous stay on the 6th floor was much newer). The second night was booked through Expedia at a great price.Dated hotel, needs more remodeling, but a great price
We stayed at this hotel on two separate nights on our 10 day vacation.
.I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Grand Junction Co.is the best hotel that we have stayed in while there for the peach festival. for the price
Grand Vista Hotel in Grand Junction,Co.Best hotel in Grand Junction Co.
. No problems and would stay here again.Convenient to airport
Just stayed overnight on a trip fishing when I arrived the night before the rest of my party.
. The bathroom fan was also very loud. I even heard the housekeeper opening plastic bags through the door, let alone all conversations. The noise came through the door like a wind tunnel.Noisey
Though between the rooms the walls are created to be quite.
. Dog friendly hotel.Dog-Friendly Hotel
Prompt service, comfortable room.
. I gave up and left to eat somewhere else. Waited at the restaurant for over 15 minutes, at a table, without even getting a menu! There was only one other person in the restaurant. Had to carry all my bags back down to the desk to get a different room. Bedding and towels were wadded up on the floor. Not impressed
Checked in at 3:30 and they assigned a room that was still being cleaned.
. Would definitely recommend it as a comfortable and clean place to stay. The only negative thing was the inconvenience of the bathroom off the pool area, but that was due to remodeling. All around comfort and good service.Loved it!
We only had a one night stay, but it was very nice, have no complaints at all.
Lovely, no complaints
Really, I loved the place, no complaints.

Dont depend on the restaurant staying open to advertised time. The food when we got it, was quite good and the lounge staff member was very accomodating that helped a lot. The manager at the desk basically left us to our own devices with the lounge after finding out we wanted food. The restaurant should have stayed open until the advertised time, they had customers. We ran into another family with kids who stated the restaurant staff closed the gate, locking the restaurant right in front of their face, well before 9:30. I had to leave my young child outside the lounge, go in and place an order to go to get food. The only complaint I had with the whole stay was that the restaurant advertised it was open until 10:00 but closed at 9:30.Nice hotel
We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel, the pool was extremely chlorinated but the rooms were very nice, a fridge and a comfortable bed, nice shower.
Overall, a nice hotel, especially because of the price!. The only odd part was the very full parking lot - it was difficult to find a space that was convenient to the entrance.Good Location, Good Room, Good Price
This hotel is near a few other properties, but stands out in that the price was very reasonable for the quality of accomodations - the room was clean, comfy beds, indoor pool.
. Overall, a very good experience. Did swim and pool was nice. The staff was friendly and efficient. Could not find fault with anything as room was comfortable and clean.Great experience
Hotel was better than expected for discount rate offered.
. Planned to get in the car and drive somewhere for breakfast in the morning but were also surprised to find a nice buffet just off the lobby. Staff at the front desk were courteous and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and that was just what we were looking for. We were in the less expensive rooms on the upper floors and didnt expect much but were pleasantly surprised.Better than expected
Hotel was better value than we expected.
.Grand Vista
Nice place but the bathrooms seem quite outdated.
. I would recomment this hotel to anyone. The rooms were very pleasant and with a very good view.Stayed while husband was in hospital, was very satified with the hotel and their assistance
We were very satified with the hotel and their service.
. The restaurant was good, but one of the nights we had dinner there was only one waitress and the service was very slow. The room was clean and the hotel was well maintained.
I would return to this hotel.Very good hotel especially for the money.
Functional
okay for quick stopover - stayed because they take small pets - no elevator to the floor we stayed on so hassle with luggage - place a bit tired but staff great.
. While on the outer edge of the city, Grand Junction is small enough that you are not really not that far away from anything. The hotel staff were very helpful. While we didnt use it the pool/sauna looked like it was clean. It was clean.Good family Destination
We found that the hotel was a good stop for an overnight stay.
.Suitable for overnight trip and cheap
Nothing special but suitable for overnight.
. The Village Inn across the street was a good choice for breakfast the following morning.
Travelers tip on dining
The nearby WW Peppers restaurant, recommended by others, does not have a posted closing time, and they refused to seat us as they "stopped seating people five minutes ago", even though it was before 9pm on a Friday night and the place was still busy. Only complaint is the small swimming pool was crowded with unsupervised teens and therefore not conducive to a relaxing soak in the hot tub, which is what we wanted after a long day of driving.Good experience
Our experience was a good one - just a one night stay during a vacation trip to Denver.
We had no problems or complaints!.Great Hotel, will stay there again!
The hotel was clean and the staff was wonderful.
