Clean & convenient
clean & convenient.
Bravo. Price, comfort, cleanliness, and service all five stars.Providences Best Buy
The finest hotel Providence has to offer, hands down.
. I was wrong. really?
I expected the Hilton to be a little roomier than less expensive hotels....The Hilton.
.Looking for clean hotel? You foound it!
Convenient location, clean space, and nice services! Except the front desk people are kind of rude & impatient.
otherwise i had a great stay. But parking is expensive and haveing to pay for internet is a bit annoying. i have stayed here ,the Biltomore and hotel Providence and it is comparable.Nice stay
the Hilton is a nice hotel in a central location.
.Great Service, Great hospitality, Great rooms!
The service at the front desk was excellent!! The beds were so comfy!
Travelers tip on saving a few bucks
Everywhere was walking distance from the Hotel! Places to eat, drink and shop was a few blocks away.
Youll have a great time if youre lucky to get a good server like we did!!. Our server, Katie, was quite knowledable and really friendly. We went for dessert--Chocolate Fondue and had great fun.

The Melting Pot, a fondue restaurant at the base of the Providence Place Mall was a great find. I would stay there again for the convenience and the price deal we got, but there was nothing about the hotel itself that was that impressive. The price was right and it was close(across the street)to where my niece, whom we were visiting, lived. The lobby was clean and inviting, but the floor we staid on had trash in the hallway. My husband had to fix the lock on our door and he had to fix our shower head. We had to ask for shampoo and we requested extra towels and only got them one day, even after we left a hand written note for housekeeping.A Bit Dissappointing
I expected a little more from a HILTON.
.Providence hilton
great choice for waterfire and federal hill- walking distance to both.
.Fulfilled all our needs
There was a rowdy large group of college students there, but it was still enjoyable and the hotel removed our parking fee b/c of it.
. Overall - very nice, I would choose the hotel again. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We didnt need a cab the whole time we stayed in Providence. Its easy to walk to the train station, mall, Little Italy, or the main bus station.Very convenient location
I would say the hotel is located in the middle of everything.
. Not surprised, being that the hotel is downtown. Didnt expect that.
Travelers tip
Parking is $20/day. However, I was pleased with the apparent cleanliness of the room and the comfort.Good Enough
For the price, I expected better service.
.people had even parked on the ramps... When I came back to the garage at 10:30pm, the gates were up and all of the parking spots were taken. The self-park lot is small and very tight.Parking is a Mess
Pay the extra $4 for the valet parking, it would have been worth it.
. Room was clean and hotel was decorated very nice.Excellent
The only bad thing about this hotel was the parking fee, but if you know that going into the stay then its excellent.
Not exactly what we were looking for in a Valentines weekend get away!. It was too noisy to have a drink at the bar, and the kids ran up and down the halls until at least 11 PM. Apparently there was a cheerleading competition and a hockey tournament in the area.Be Careful When You Go
When we walked into the lobby there were around 100 pre-teens wandering around.
. The Don Shula lounge was nice and the bartenders were very friendly. 95. Also very convenient to Rt. I would definately recommend the Hilton Hotel to any of my family and friends.I even received a complimentary Sunday paper. My room even had a new LCD TV.
I was very impressed with the cleanliness of my room and bathroom. Will definately stay at the Hilton in the future.

Budget $20/self or $24/valet additional expense for on-site parking. Climate easy to control and adjust. Wireless internet worked well.Fine for one night stay
Bedding was very good; desk and dresser a bit over-sized; no fridge in room and no vending machine on floor.
all good.... Cheese Cake factory, Melting Pot, Fire and Ice, Ruths Chris Steakhouse, Union Station Brewery. Many other options within walking distance.
Travelers tip on dining
Dont eat in the hotel restaurant. I would go here again, but eat outside of the hotel. Other than that, rooms were comfortable and clean. Took 45 minutes before I asked where our breakfast was.$13 bucks for Ham and Eggs, and the service wasnt great..... Way overpriced. Shulas Steakhouse, which was part of the hotel was less than pleasant. Staff cleaned it up by morning. Many drinks spilled in the Lobby. Difficult to get an elevator with intoxicated kids going up and down. The lobby area was a disaster when I got there, but not totally their fault as there was a New Years Eve Wedding there.Great for a short stay
Had a great time for the 3 nights I spent here.
Minuses for Hilton - Small room (double) for family of 4; must pay for Internet access in room (NOT very accomodating for guests who pay a premium for this type of property; and EXHORBITANT PARKING FEE ($24!) for winter, non-holiday parking in the middle of a major snowstorm! It is not as if we were in the middle of Washington DC, Boston, NYC, or even Philadelphia for that matter! A better parking rate fee should be structured for hotel guests against "day" or "event" or "shopping" guests not staying at the hotel! For a quality property, this Hilton just "nickles-and-dimes" guests for services that should come with the higher room pricetag!
Travelers tip for business travelers
Use your mobile phone (Blackberry) to access the Internet!. Pluses for Hilton-Providence: room cleanliness, easy access on/off I-95, location to shopping, quality room within short drive to Gillette Stadium (25 miles). In town to attend New England Patriots game.Providence Hilton
Stayed during a major New England snowstorm that dumped over 15 inches of snow on the region.
.
Travelers tip on shopping
The Providence Mall is close by with floors and floors of shopping! If you cant find it there, you dont need it. Well be going back many times. Everything is in walking distance.Perfect Location
The Providence Hilton is a very convenient hotel, as it is located just off I95 and between Federal Hill and downtown Providence.
. It will take you right to Thayer street on campus.Great place to stay when visiting a brown student
great place to stay when visiting a brown student once you figure out the trolley bus system.
.Pretty good
Everything was cool except the expensive parking.
Great hotel and staff
Great Staff Would stay again.
Travelers tip on saving a few bucks
Dont stay here, since there is a charge for everything including parking!. If I had known this in advance I would have chosen a different hotel.00 to my stay.00 per day to park, which addes an additional $120. The hotel charges an additional $20. I was very surprised that the hotel didnt offer complementary parking for its guests.Hidden Parking Charges
The hotel was decent and centrally located to downtown Providence.
Very nice
comfortable beds
Travelers tip on recreational activities

.Cant wait to go back
