. Maintenance was lacking in several areas; toliet rocked, doors did not close properly and when I pointed out that there was fresh gum on a rug in the elevator, it was there for over a day!

Go to Fourth Street Live, right next store, it is a lot of fun ahd has a lot to offer. Housekeeping personnel did not say hello or seem to be interested in making you feel like a valued customer. Front desk personel did the very minimum and said "I dont know" without trying to find out. However, the hotel staff at all levels left a lot to be desired.Lots of Potential
The hotel had a great location and we loved the historic background.
. They apologized and gave me two certificates for free breakfast, like I was going to use them, being in downtown Chicago surrounded by some of the finest food on the planet for a hotel buffet? In addition to the room mix-up, the hotels "business center" computers were down both days of my stay, leaving me unable to check in for my flight resulting in me and my guest sitting seperately in the last row of the plane." So the hotel did not "upgrade" my room, they just gave me the room I originally booked. The next morning when the original woman who booked the room checked, she told me that "this is not the room I checked you in for. Upon arrival, I was given a room with two full sized beds, not a suite and when complained about, was told that they were booked for the night and would upgrade us tomorrow. I was told that the room would be held as me and my guest had a busy day and would not be returning to the hotel until late. I arrived at noon and was told I couldnt check in until 3.Reserved room given to another customer
I booked a king size suite with a seperate bedroom and pull-out couch in the living area for a guest.
Good quality food for not too much money. It is a Hilton after all, ou can expect quality service and value

eat across the street at Water Tower Place "Food Life" good deal after 5pm, $10 for a three course meal, drink and desert included. But besides that, everything was handled very well and very courteous. The only negative to the hotel is that on some occasions the lobby was very humid inside, like they must have turned the air off. Though a little pricey in comparison to other top rated hotels in the area, it more than met my expectations. Within Minutes of the Magnificent Mile
This was a great hotel.Good Hotel For the Price.
. the hotel was right in the middle of it all, able to walk or take a train to everything that you would want to do.Would Stay at again and again
Very nice hotel, very spacious.
Great location
Great location, views, staff and city!.
.I likeed the suite because it was very spacious and comfortable. Staff was friendly and very helpful with all questions and concerns. Parking was a bit salty but that is a big city for you.Would go there again
Hotel was in a very good location to the shopping and a short walk to Lake Michigan and the Navy Pier.
. The boat ride is fun on the Chicago River and Lake Michigan, but we didnt do that this trip. Excellent show, at half the price of the NY Broadway performance. Visited the Water Tower Place, Millenium Park and saw the Jersey Boys.

We enjoyed walking up and down Michigan Avenue. However, I do admit that parking our car was a bit steep--$50 a night, added $100 to our hotel bill. It was a good stay. We did have to leave the hotel for breakfast, but actually enjoyed the place the hotel staff recommended. A buffet breakfast is not always enjoyed by everyone. A coffee shop would be delighted. I would have brought along some snacks or some fruit. When the rooms are described on line, the information should include the fact that the room has a refrigerator and a microwave. I traveled with another female and we both enjoyed having a place to sit, chat and watch TV and then a different room to sleep. The space was good. This was my first experience at the Hilton Suites.Enjoyed the Space
I travel to Chicago about once a year.
. Hop the L and explore.

Downtown Chicago has much to offer a diner however if one is looking for a wider selection and less expensive prices the north and west side of Chicago have much more to offer. The pool would be the only negative of our stay at the hotel, being too crowded and very well stocked with chlorine. We didnt use any of the hotel services except the pool/hot tub for a brief moment due to the high volume of adolescents present. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The view from the room was of the fellow skyscrapers and fitting for the downtown setting we were in.Good location, great hotel
Our stay at the hilton suites was short but restful.
Great service
Very helpful staff, a clean and quiet hotel even during a busy summer weekend.
. Nice gym / pool on the top floor of the hotel. My one small complaint was a slightly stuffy room only somewhat ameliorated by the a/c unit.Good value for great location
I received very reasonable rates for a comfortable suite at this hotel, located at the northern end of the Magnificent Mile and in convenient walking or a short bus ride distance to most of the locations I needed or wanted to visit during my stay (for a conference / leisure visit).

Hugos frog bar& fish house was yummy!!. Hotel pool could have been cleaner but the view is amazing. We did a girls weekend and the location of the hotel is great beds are very comfortable staff was frendly and helpful.Good Trip
I had never stayed in this hotel.
Other than that, it was ok, specially for its location, its near everything!.Great Location
We didnt spend much time in the hotel, but we did go to the swimming pool and sauna, which needed a lot of cleaning, The pool was so blurry, you could hardly see your feet.
. Convenient and lovely. Will definitely consider this location on a future trip to Chicago.Wonderful hotel
We had a wonderful stay at the hotel.
it was great!...etc... I was able to walk to the lakefront, the Navy Pier, Millenium Park.Five stars for location & quality!!
I enjoyed my trip to Chicago even more due to a very pleasant stay at the hotel.
!!. We will stay at this hotel again, without a doubt. Easy transportion available just a few steps away. This hotel is in a great location, just a block and a half from Magnificent Mile and shopping. Very short time to register and get into our lovely room. The Staff was helpful and friendly. What a wonderful surprise the Hilton Suites was ! Extremely comfortable in every way.Great place to stay !!!
This was my husbands and mine first trip to Chicago.
Right Next to The American Girl Doll Place
The three best things about this hotel were, #1, that it had a beautiful indoor pool on the top floor (for my daughters), #2, that the American Girl Doll Place was only a half a block away, and #3, the beautiful pool on the top floor!.
. I will stay here again. Restraunts are close by as well as great Blues clubs. Great Location - walking distance to all the fun spots and easy to reach the subway as well.Hilton Happiness
Wonderful Hotel, suite was perfect.
I would recommend staying here to all my friends!

The architectural boat tour is a must see! Absolutely awesome!.Excellent hotel with great service!
Never having been to Chicago and knowing nothing about the area, I was extremely and pleasantly satisfied with this hotel! The staff was always very friendly and helpful with anything we needed from cabs, directions and advice on things to see.
. The hotel is right in the "hub" of Michigan Avenue. However, there are refridgerators and microwaves in every room so we had our own happy hour in the rooms.Excellent experience
The bar was under construction so we were not able to see it.
. Would definitely suggest this hotel to others. I am eager to go back & visit once it has been finished. Theyre also doing some re-modeling & re-construction to the hotel. I had checked with hotels all over that area & most were almost $100-$200 higher in price per night.
The room was surprisingly nice for the cost of the my stay...Good quality with a good price.
. Dont let the line scare you, its one of the fastest moving especially if youre a party of two (A line around the building took less than 20mins to get through).

A few blocks away, the Original Pancake House serves up an excellent breakfast for a reasonable price. Add to that a very nice spacious room with a view of the lake and you end up with one of the best values in downtown Chicago. Its a block away from the Magnificent Mile. While not the best service (Other than the bellman, hotel staff where not exactly welcoming), the location alone makes this an excellent hotel.Excellent hotel but lacking in service
This being the third time staying in downtown Chicago, I have 2 other hotels to compare in the same price range and Im very impressed.
. I would definately stay here again. The doormen are a great source of infomation. Housekeeping came right away, cleaned everything up (with a smile) and never made her feel embarrased about the mess. During our stay, my daughter dropped her dinner on the bed.Great Hotel and Staff
My daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful time.

Hancock Building and American Girl Place. The only trick is finding the hotel, the address is Delaware Place, but the entrance is a left turn off of Delaware Place. It was walking distance to the Hancock Building and American Girl Place. The suite was great with 2 double beds and a pull out couch.Spring Break
This hotel was great for a group of 2 adults and 2 kids.
.Cant wait to go back
We are already planning another trip to Chicago and are planning on staying at the Hilton Suites Chicago Magnificent Mile again.
Good service and price on expedia!. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.
Brilliant location, extremely comfortable, great service and all in all a wonderful place to stay in Chicago..Looking forward to my next visit.
