Travelers tip on local attractions Ten minute ride on I95 to a train station and then 20 minutes and you are in Boston right near Fenway Park, what could be more convenient!. It was just rennovated so everything was like new. It is convenient to Boston for Celtics and Red Sox games. I will use it again later this summer or early fall.Will be back in the fall I have used this hotel on numerous occasions and have always been satisfied.



. Make a left after the 2nd Bank Entrance and it will bring you to the hotel parking lot. Travelers tip There’s a lot of construction going on in the area and my GPS had me traveling behind the hotel on road that runs parrelel with Providence highway and then making a left onto another road that is under heavy construction. Free wireless internet was a big plus. The only attached restaurant is an Asian one, but 25 yards around the corner there is Joe’s American Bar and Grill and across the street they are building a Whole Foods and other restaurants. The bathroom was a bit on the small side but the shower’s size and water pressure was above what one usually encounters. The room looked like it was just refurbished with new furniture, paint, LCD TV (with a plethora of inputs for you traveling with your own DVD or video game system) and a new bathroom. Boy was I surprised once I got up them.A surprsisingly nice room After reading a few other reviews of this hotel my hopes weren’t that high and walking into the gloomy lobby that felt like a cave my hopes were even lower about the quality of the room.



No SLeep in CT I call this the NO SLEEP IN! It was yucky!.



. Not going back. Felt like they took advantage and were not very pleasant about it either. Advertised being near shops and movie theatre, but its still being built. Advertised recreation room, they are still building it. Have to drive everywhere. No hotel bar and the only food is a Japanese restaurant. Tour group of teens running the floors all night, 100 kids in the pool and no supervision. Construction work set off fire alarms day and night.Not impressed One ice machine for 6 floors.



. Other then that, it did not live up to the standards of what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. The only positive was that it was convenient to where I needed to be.I would never go back.
