Great place to stay in Douglas!. The great front desk person also alerted us to a Tornado Warning in the area and offered us shelter in a safe place unsolicited. I went to the front desk and even on a Saturday night moved us without question. We were initially put in a room next to the laundry and soda machine and could hear everything, including tennis shoes clanking around in the dryer.Holiday Inn Express beds are the best)....Great Customer Service Very comfortable rooms (as always.

. ~ We are returning to Douglas in a couple of months to attend another meet and will DEFINITELY be staying at the Holiday Inn Express and encouraging the rest of the team to do the same. We were so disappointed that we had not stayed at the Holiday Inn Express as the other hotel was smokey, run down, and dirty. So the second night, we stayed at another hotel in Douglas with the rest of the team. We had only planned on staying one night in Douglas, but decided to stay another as the meet we were attending ended later than expected. We didn’t get our reservation in on time so booked a nights stay at the Holiday Inn Express instead. The team had reserved a block of rooms at another hotel.New and well maintained We traveled to Douglas with our daughter’s gymnastics team.
