. Just because of that i would not reccomend this hotel. When we asked what was going on with the elevator we were told by housekeeping to take the stairs w/ our 5 suitcases. Where had all our suitcases for our cruise with us on the sixth floor , in the morning none of the elevators worked except for the service elevator. The rooms are what you would expect from a holiday inn.Nice hotel if you have 1hr to wait on the elevator The hotel itself is a pretty nice hotel & the staff is accomodating and helpful.

. Travelers tip on dining If you like sun and fun, this is the place to go. We like to sit at the pool and have a drink or 2 but could not because the bar was not open until late in the day. My only complaint is that the bar area should be open earlier. The breakfast that was included was very good. The hotel is comfortable. It is close to South Beach and other locations convenient for sight seeing. This is a great location to stay because of the location in downtown.My Vacation in Miami My husband an I enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn at the Port of Miami.

. Great for staying over night for a cruise. And there is a Cvc one block away for your last min needs. Also there is a McDonald around the corner. Ton’s of shops, restraunts and bar’s wright acroos the street.The beds were so comfortable you dont want to get out of them in the moroning. Which was great. So they gave us a free up grade to a suite.Definitly would recomend this hotel Staff was aswome !! Upon are arivival, our room was no ready.

. Food is okay, they have a pizza delivery place they work with that is pretty good as well. It is also super convinient to stay in if you’re planning on connecting to a cruise soon after.Very Easy for Cruisers The hotel itself is a little older and the elevators are a little disconcerting, however the service and cleanliness are top notch.

. I’d certainly consider staying there again if in Miami; especially for a short stay over. But overall, it was good value for the money. There were some minor problems in the room, such as the closet door coming off the track. The staff was pleasant and the rooms were fine. The location was great as it is close to the port and there’s an outdoor shopping/entertainment plaza right across the street.Good location and pleasant stay We stayed there the night before our cruise.

RECOMMEND this hotel. could have a parking lot with more positions, though a meter-parking is avaliable across the street (with some risk of vandalism). but location nowadays is not too good. great breakfast. good shower. very comfortable rooms and beds.Comfortable for its category -- bad location nowadays hotel is a very good 3-star, is in good shape, has wifi working in MOST rooms (but not in all of them with enough signal).

Staff was nice. No free breakfast here. Although I was suprised to be charged for breakfast. If you can get a room with a view then the money might seem to balance. The price is a little high...The price is almost worth.

. Other options are not as conveniently located and pricey. Looks like rooms are also in need of refurb, although adequate for a pre-cruise layover. Outside of hotel needs better upkeep. My husband is worse and he was very happy!. Caught a taxi and were off!Would use again if the situation arose and I am picky. My sone needed something at a drug store so we checked out, left out baggage in the storage room, which they were very happy to do and walked about 4 blocks to a Walgreen’s. Our cruise was the next day, so we had a nice breakfast buffet(included!)before going off to the port,less than 10 minute taxi drive away.Perfectly placed if you are off for a cruise We arrived quite late- at about 2AM from a delayed flight and the night clerk was very cheery and friendly.

Interesting and cheap food. Nice people. You’ll be the only non-Haitian there but that will be part of the treat. Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay get off the beaten track and try out some Haitian food at Chez Le Bebe which is a cab ride away. I would not have stayed here a second night. Had the wonderful experience of a cold shower in the morning followed by a cold water shave - a rather bracing way to start the day. Got moved away from the elevator so that problem was solved. Elevator door across from my first room screeched loudly and I could hear it in the room. Like walking into a bottle of deodorizer. Downside: stank. Room was reasonably comfortable: chair and bed.1 night stand only Hotel staff was friendly.

.Overall good choice. No good restaurants around only american junk food at bayside. Downtown Miami you can only go around by taxi or on foot.Good location if you dont want to be near the beach Clean hotel, nice double room, decent breakfast.
