. Loved having a nice beach in front of us. All in walking distance to town. Clean, outdoor and indoor pool and beach. Was just fine for two not too picky people.Great location This was our third year staying at HI.



One last note the Jucuzzi tub is in the middle of the room???? I don’t quite get that!!. Was pleased for the money and the hotel was perfect for us for a little get away, and time to ourselves. Need better organization, and people. Also the resteraunt there!! Not going to say anything bad, they took care of us and made up for there mistakes, but would not recomend eating there. Just an observation. There are lots of little kids and not every animal is good with all people. I would like to see them try to enforce the rules with the animals a little better, I am a huge animal lover but when people take advantage of the situation I don’t feel it is fair to the others that are staying there when people have there animals in the pool areas where they are not suppose to be.Nice get away The fact that every room gives you a view of the lake, and the hotel has accomedations for everyone is a nice change.



Great place to stay during the Cherry Festival - within walking distance to everything! Travelers tip on local attractions Definitely go out on the Nauticat catamaran during your stay - well worth it!.Best Location in Traverse City Love staying here.



. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We weren’t there much over the weekend but everything was great.Great place to stay We found the hotel to be very comfortable and the staff very friendly.



.but there were hundreds of them by the pool and then we spotted some in our bathroom later..... Kind of a weird time of year for them since there was a few feet of snow on the ground and below zero temps. Also, by the pool and then again in the bathroom of our room, there were ants. But very noisy and you could tell that it had seen better days. Not real comfortable, but not terrible.maybe just old..... The beds were.needs a little TLC While the staff was excellent and the view would be breath taking during the right months, the rooms was in need of a little TLC............Great location.



. It doesn’t have a lot of the extra frills that some hotels have but its a good place to stay with all of the necesary needs a person would need.Nice hotel This is a good hotel for a decent price.
