. A beer in the hotel Bar is only $5 compared to some other hotels in the area, they are $8 and up. its very centrally located. The good things about this hotel are you get a continintel breakfast every morning.
The air con didnt work properly, room was very stuffy and the smallest room i have ever seen in nyc. The air conditioning unit was so noisy that we got no sleep at all.The bed was so uncomfortable.
. Great value for money.Very impressed
A perfectly positioned hotel, very clean and comfortable, service was of a high standard, would definately recommend this hotel to others, close enough to all the main attractions, but quiet enough to give you a decent break.
. Theatre district felt safe to me (older woman). Parking down the street but all were helpful. Very considerate and accommodating. The service at reception was very good. Look for cool cappucino machine at breakfast--I did not see it at first. Bathroom was fine too, shower only. It was nice, it did not feel claustrophobic. Spare and modern. The room was indeed very small, with only a foot or so between wall and bed, but nicely designed.Small but fine
This was a satisfactory choice for someone who only wanted a sleeping spot.
. However, if youre looking for a non-tourist restaurant, leave the area. The portions are gargantuan, but the quality is there. Sit at the bar. - A good place to eat if you are by yourself is Juniors Cheesecake. But you didnt come to Manhattan to stay in your hotel room, did you?
Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay
Dont take a shuttle to the airport unless you have trouble walking, the subway station, 3 blocks away will take you straight there (be aware that there often is work on the subway tracks, especially on week-ends, so plan extra time in case you find this out at the last minute). Also, do not expect to have a view on anything in Times Square, the hotel is sandwiched between two buildings, and if you get a window to the outside, youll have a view on an empty street (so its quiet, especially if you ask for a room that doesnt give onto the street). Still, its a competitive price for a 3-star hotel in the area. The hotel location is extremely convenient, but there is a price tag. The subway station thats right in front of the hotel (literally) takes you basically anywhere in Manhattan and beyond. Its basically in a very quiet street, but one block from Times Square, 3 blocks away from the subway station you need to take to go to JFK airport, and about 10 walkable blocks (Im assuming you have young legs--Im 33) to Macys and the shopping area.
This hotel is right behind the main Times Square McDonalds: if you go through the restaurant and exit by the back door, the hotel is just there on your left.Happiness in Times Square.
But will do it again !!!... Kinda small room..Very clean and friendly front desk...reasonable price for the location...A very Pleasant Expericence
A very pleasant expericence.
. Everything was really clean, the decor was nice and comfortable, only issue was that the rooms were small but youre not in New York city to hang out in the hotel room so space didnt bother us.Great place to stay
Hotel had a great location right next to times square.
. I would stay here again. Good breakfast pastries. The room is small but very clean. Right in Times Square.Great stay!
The attendants at the front desk were always friendly and helpful.
. you have to try it.Can`t wait to go back
it was a wonderfull experience, great customer service, close to everything in time square you dont need a cab or bus yo can just walk.
. So if you checked in that night, you could still store your luggage at the hotel & leave your car there at no extra charge in case you were not ready to leave the city. It was nice to find out that even though hotel check out time was 12 noon, your vehicle did not have to be checked out of garage until what ever time you checked in that previous day.

I wasnt familiar with garage parking. Parking garage & hotel staff work well together. Youre in safe walking distance of all the Times Square area. Location was great. The staff was very friendly & very helpful. It was fine for 2 people. All you need
I expected the room to be small & it was but youre not in NYC to sit in a hotel room.
. I would definitely stay here again. Because the room is so small it warms up/cools down very quickly and is hard to regulate (and a little loud). The only downside was the heating/cooling. My younger daughter appreciated the selections of dvds available at the front desk when she was ready to crash for the night. The rooms are tiny, but we knew that going into it. The staff was very polite and helpful, and the room was spotless. It was a block off Times Square and right across the street from a subway entrance.Would stay there again!
The location was great.
. The breakfast was good and free.Near to brodway, good hotel
My room had a window, but a wall was just behind so nothing to see and no light with this window.
I for sure, recommend this hotel as a good place to enjoy new york city!. we did have a great time staying in this hotel... the location is perfect! very close to everything! the otel service is very good, and despite we got a small room (standart) it was perfect for us...Great!
the hotel is awesome.
. It was nice to not have to get a taxi or ride the subway after an evening of entertainment.

Within walking distance of all the major Broadway shows. I would definitely recommend Hotel 41, and if I ever have the opportunity to visit NYC again, this would be the place I would stay. It was nice that it was within an easy walking distance to all of the Broadway shows so we had a short walk back in the evening and didnt need to get a taxi or take the subway. Hotel 41 is within a block of Times Square, but we never heard the noise or bustle in our room. They were helpful and went out of their way to assist us in any way possible.
The entire staff was outstanding.Staff was awesome and within a block of Times Square - close to all the Broadway shows.
. The only thing that you may bother is the small rooms, but We did not. It was comfortable, friendly and helpfull.VERY FRIENDLY SERVICE
Me and my wife went there for a economical holiday and we found out more than we expected in Hotel 41.
We highly recommend this hotel. The location is perfect for a stay near Broadway and Times Square. The staff is first class and cared about our stay. We would stay AGAIN.Second time at this hotel! Well be back!
This is the second time we have stayed here.
.catch the number 6 local downtown and get off at canal.
Travelers tip on dining
the dumpling house on the corner of canal and lafayette in chinatown has the best steamed crab and shrimp dumplings in the world.great location 1 block from the port authority.Great location and service
hotel staff extremely helpful.
. It was a nice place. It was within walking distance of many place that I wanted to see including central park and the theaters.Nice place to stay
Great location, RIGHT next to Times Square.
Definitely stay here if youre going to NY, want a reasonable price, want to stay in the middle of the action, and want impeccable service!. They are what make the hotel amazing. From the doorman to the receptionist to the bellhop, everyone was so friendly and helpful with anything from directions to train instructions to DVD rentals. They were next-to-none when it comes to exceptional service. The subway is right across the street, Walgreens a couple blocks away, and all the Broadway shows are right at your doorstep! The shining gem about this hotel, however, is the staff. The location was next to none. The bathroom was immaculate, with new amenities, the bed was comfy, the elevator was fast and felt safe(unlike most NY elevators), the bar downstairs was really convenient. Yes, the rooms are a big small, but you shouldnt be in your hotel room that much while youre in NYC anyway! The queen deluxe was perfect for me and my husband.) I couldnt have been happier about this hotel. (I hear this happens quite a bit. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived and we were upgraded from a Standard room to a Queen Deluxe for free.Couldnt have been happier!
I was honestly a bit scared about the reviews regarding the size of the room.
. The location was very convenient for exploring New York City. I believe the end rooms have windows. My room was in the middle of the building. While this didnt bother me too much, my rooms window only looked out onto a brick wall and there was no natural light coming into the room, which could be a problem for someone claustrophobic. The room was small like advertised, but as long as you arent planning on spending your whole vacation in your room, then you wont have a problem. Room and bathroom were clean. The staff were friendly and remembered my name.Nice hotel
I thought this hotel was nice.
We will return again very soon!. I would recommend that everyone should visit "The View" at the Marriot Hotel for at least drinks. The hotel staff was very helpful when I asked for great places to go. You couldnt beat the location. I have stayed at several NYC hotels and this was by far the best. I was a little worried about the reviews of how small the rooms were but I was pleasantly surprised.Best stay ever in NYC!
I just returned from my 3 night stay at the Hotel 41 and I couldnt have been happier.
.. Also, renovation next door woke me up every morning at 6 am! Very close to everything! If you are a tourist, its a good place to stay... Hotel is falling apart.Good Hotel, but falling apart
Good price, but very small rooms.
.
Travelers tip on dining
Avoid all the chain restaurants on Broadway, try places you can find only in NYC. The only complaint I have is that the blankets on the bed were a little rough.its perfect... The rooms are small, but if you dont plan on spending a lot of time in your room. The staff was very nice and the hotel was clean. It is right in the middle of all the action.Cozy hotel in a great location
This hotel has a great location.
. A few steps to Times Square, the subway, etc.
Travelers tip on local attractions
Really cant beat the location and the prices are usually superb.Center of the universe
Wonderful value, just steps from Times Square.
. I highly recommend this hotel. Good continental breakfast too. But once I solved that and got the temperature right, I was very comfortable. The only glitch I had was in figuring out the programmable thermostat. My room was small but very well appointed, comfortable, and extremely clean. In fact, it had a European feel to me. The hotel is a small, boutique-style hotel similar to good 3-star European ones.Loved This Hotel
I would stay here every time I go to NY if I could.
. Bathroom very new and clean. It was not painfully small though, there was a closet. Yes, the room is small, though there were bigger rooms to the front of the building. The hot drinks machine was free til 4pm or so so we saved a lot of money but not visiting starbucks! Great location, you walk out to times square. Breakfast was good too, bagels, muffins, pastries, coffee, tea, hot choc, juice. Can only recomend highly
Great service, free bottle of water on arrival, dvd lending library, we were given an umbrella when it rained on Christmas Eve.
