. Parking is $15 but hassle free and good all day and into the night. Both are free and fabulous.
Travelers tip on local attractions
The Getty Center in Brentwood and the Getty Villa in Malibu were our only destinations on this trip, and well worth it. We definitely appreciated our stay there, and would do it again. The rooftop restaurant, "West" served breakfast, however, and we had a splendid dinner one of the nights there. The only disappointment was that there was no continental breakfast; yes, were that spoiled. skyline.A. Our room was small but beautifully appointed, and included a great view of the L. The road there was not geared for pedestrians: wed have had to swing through the Brentwood canopy to stay out of traffic.)The parking valets were courteous and efficient; the concierge rightly discouraged us from walking to the Getty despite its proximity to the hotel.2 miles away) and the Getty Villa in Malibu (a simple matter of hopping on the nearby PCH.Going to the Getty Center? Heres your place to stay!
The Hotel Angelino was the ideal place for us, since our destinations were the Getty Center (1.

Everything was extremely clean and well organized.Very nice hotel.
We enjoyed the jazz night and the half price wine night!.
Travelers tip on dining
Look out for the special nights in restaurant which are not well publicised. Rooms of standard size but good quality bedding and furnishings. Helpful staff, from valet parking, check-in , cafe and restaurant. Relaxing pool with luxury seating and plenty of shade, excellent restaurant.Boutique hotel
Good location, easy to get to everywhere, Santa Monica, Airport and so on, but you need a car.
. The AC however, when it was running, blocked out the freeway noise. The only compliant was the freeway noise.Very helpful and friendly
The service and the room were great.
. The exercise room was empty and had more TV channels than the rooms
Travelers tip on saving a few bucks
Park either across or down the street when you can to avoid paying the valets parking since its crazy high. Theres a safe in the room which is nice since I had a lot of valuables. The customer service was excellent, the restaurant on the top floor is hurting I think. Road noise from the 405 means you keep your balcony door closed No food places in walking distance other than the in-hotel places Otherwise this was a nice hotel for the price I got online.Okay hotel, the neighborhood is safe
Problems: No ice bucket in my room when I arrived Ice machine on my floor was broken so I had to go up 2 floors to get ice Expensive parking even by LA standards.
The hotel might be classified as boutique and be considered as an in place given its location, but the noise from the highway is disturbing. Two weeks later, Im still waiting for a response. I was put through to Housekeeping/Lost property and could only leave a voice message as I was calling out of hours.Customer responsiveness lacking
I left a piece of clothing in the hotel and two days later emailed and then followed up with a phone call.
. Great location. Had great room overlooking pool area.Great hotel
really enjoyed our stay here.
. The Vanilla Oreo Milk Shake is beyond good.

When in LA, make sure you go to Mels Drive In on Sunset Boulevard, they have the best burgers and shakes in town. Just minutes away from the Sunset Strip and all the fine dinings and shopping of LA. It is conveniently located to all of LAs hot spots. It was a great place to sleep and relax.Great Place to Stay
The Hotel Angeleno, a Joie de Vivre Boutique Hotel, was more than I expected it to be.
. Even though we were on the eleventh floor, the "view" onto the freeway meant it was incredibly loud to leave the balcony door open. On the down side, I thought there was a strange odor in our room, and had the balcony door open for about twenty minutes when we returned to the room. We will stay here again. Free internet connection as well.Very nice hotel
This hotel had a great vibe, was updated, and was a great location for us.
Travelers tip on local attractions
Visit the Getty Center (about a mile from the hotel) on Saturdays after 5 PM for free parking. The balcony was loud from the 405. The room was an executive king and was quiet. I wouldnt stay again because of the pricey valet and because of the location but I enjoyed my time here. The area is ok, not really nice. There are no shops, parks, activities or restaurants within walking distance of this hotel either, which is what I usually prefer. The staff is overworked here. Every morning when I went to get my car it took a while to get my car, and one day the keys were lost but eventually found. Even the Four Seasons allows self parking. The valet parking is more of an inconvenience than anything else. My biggest issue with Hotel Angeleno is the valet parking.Good value from Expedia
If it wasnt for a good deal from Expedia I would not have stayed here.
.A. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering a stay and will surely stay again the next time in L. Only two downsides for us: 1)the restaurant/room service doesnt stay open late enough and 2) theres a charge to use the computers/printers.Will Definitely Stay Again
Overall a great hotel - lobby was well decorated and clean, front desk attendants were pleasant, room was clean and the bed was comfortable, pool area is nice, parking is reasonable at $18 a day or theres free street parking just around the corner, and the location is very convenient.
great location!...Great location
The Hotel Angeleno is easy to find from the freeway and very close to UCLA .
. Its a nice place to hang out.
Travelers tip on nightlife
See if they have live music in the bar. Ask for as quiet a room as you can get. Lots of traffic noise as its near a lot of busy streets and freeways. And there was a great jazz combo in the bar. The view from the restaurant and bar was fantastic. The food in the restaurant was good, but pricey. Its conveniently located to the Getty Center, UCLA, Santa Monica and the beach. Right away you have a conversation piece.Quirky but convenient
Its round and looks like the Capitol Records building.
.There was no coffee pot or coffee in our room. Not impressed
Someone needs to check that the maids have compleated servicing the rooms.
. next time Im gonna stay somewhere else... Got a good deal for a 2 night stay but unfortunately. Tall people will have trouble washing their heads. The room walls are paper thin and the shower needs to be upgraded. Plus its not conveniently located next to any groceries or restaurants. And its LA so you know how bad traffic can get. The staff was very friendly, the hotel is clean and well kept but that cant make up for the noise. its next to interstate highway 405 so you can kiss your quiet stay and keeping the window open for oxygen goodbye...Highway to hell
this hotel unfortunately has 1 terrible defect.
Very nice people!. Also, I got to know a valet man and he bought me a book on Hollywood. I will definitely stay here again. Even with a room facing the 405, the noise was never a problem. The beds were VERY comfortable. The rooms were nice and clean. Basically close to most everything.Great hotel in a great location
Hotel Angeleno was great! It is right of the 405 and Sunset Blvd.
.Minor complaint
The lighting in the sink area is too dim.
Its right on the 405 freewy and you cant hear it with the door closed, but you also cant open the door for fresh air because then the noise comes right at you. The service was somewhat lax, it wasent a horrible experience by any mans, but we wouldnt go back.00 plus tax a day parking is going overboard, there is no self-parking and a large parking lot in the back of the hotel. Not that Impressed
To pay $18.
.A fine hotel
Clean, comfortable, and convenient to UCLA.
. The atmosphere and food and views are great in the restaurant and bar. The freeway noise is significant if you are on that side and not running your AC. My stays are always very brief and the proximity of this hotel to the campus makes it a good choice.Convenient while at UCLA
I have stayed at this hotel several times while visting my son at UCLA.
. Location great but the rooms very tiny and highway noise was incredibly loud.not so much
The staff especially the valet were excellent......Excellent Staff-Hotel.

LOOK FOR SOMETHING LESS EXPENSIVE. LAZY MAID NEVER CHANGED SHEETS! EXPENSIVE HOTEL FOR WORN OUT SHEETS FULL OF HOLES. IN EVENING WHEN CAME HOME GOT SAME ANSWER - HOUSEKEEPING IS GONE FOR THE DAY. HAD A 5 NIGHT STAY WITH SAME OLD SHEETS FULL OF HOLES - EVEN THOUGH REPEATEDLY ASKED FOR CLEAN SHEETS.HOLES IN SHEETS
MAID NEVER PUT CLEAN SHEETS ON BED.
. The only problem is that the freeway noise is quite loud especially on the east side of the tower.Convenient and well run
Nice hotel and very convenient to West LA attractions - UCLA, Westwood, Brentwood, etc.
. Will definately stay again. The location was great, the staff was friendly and accomidating, the room had everthing I needed, and the restaurant was awesome - great views and great food.Great Stay
This hotel complimented my trip perfectly.
. This was a wonderfully convenient amenity for me. The car will be delivered to and picked up from the hotel.!

If you have to rent a car, the hotel staff can set it up for you.A. The Hotel Angeleno is definitely my spot when Im staying in L. The view from the restaurant on the 17th floor was a pleasurable experience during breakfast and dinner. The room was gorgeous and the staff were very helpful and accommodating.I will be back!
The Hotel Angeleno is in a great location; just minutes away from everything.
