2 short blocks from Federal Hall
This place is one block from Liberty Plaza and two short blocks from the Stock Market!.
.Not bad
Pretty good hotel for the price! In a good location very close to a few subway stops.
. Much easier and walk is better too. and walk 2-3 blocks to hotel. Use Wall st and walk 2 blocks to you meet Nassau st. subway stop very, very confusing and not much closer for all the hassle.
Travelers tip
Fulton St. Ice machine hard to get to and could have use a vending machine but everything else ok. Service was great too. Very hot when I was there, AC was superb. Room clean, good size, bed great.Good hotel in good location
Hotel very clean, close to shopping area, restaurants.

Travelers tip for business travelers
Getting there - if you are taking a cab in from the train station or airport, just tell the driver to take you to the Federal Reserve Building, the hotel shares a corner with the Fed. Our company will definitely be using this hotel again for business travel.Best Value in Financial District
The location and convenience of this hotel to my business location was important; the quality and value of the accommodations was a great bonus.
Out of the way, but well-worth it!...Good value
Good value for the $$; clean/safe facility; not much in the way of amenities, but close to downtown sights (Battery Park, Ground Zero, Trinity Church, etc); 1/2 block from subway.
. The rooms are cozy, the bed was delightful, and the staff was delightful.Beautiful
I loved the hotel.
. I have no complaints.Good value
This hotel was a very good value.
. This Hotel is rated very highly and now I know why. What I didnt expect was one of the highest levels of quality service and overall concern for my stay as I received from the front desk staff and the general manager, who addressed some specific needs. So, for its proximity to my office, I chose "The Reserve".Great place to spend your night
I live and work in NYC, but needed a place to stay while renovations were being done in my home.
. All in all, I would stay here again, if I got the same great rate. We just walked up to Broadway and hailed one. in advance! I assume this is due to the off the big avenue location.you have to order a cab 24 hrs... And beware. 2 word answers and not real helpful.not so good... The night guy. Front desk: the black gentlemen on day shift was terrific! Great attitude and very helpful. Very clean and modern; great air conditioning; extremely comfy king bed. 2 rooms; ours was on the top floor and pretty large by NY standards; the other room was tiny.my sister and I and another couple...A chic little boutique hotel
Four of us stayed for 36 hrs.
I am not holding my breath!. I am still waiting for housekeeping to ship them to me. I had to switch rooms after the first night due to a booking error on their part, and lost a pair of jeans in the process. Double check your reservation.
Travelers tip on saving a few bucks
The weekend staff is limited. That said, this is a good place for a no frills, quiet nights rest at a reasonable price. Dont stay here if you are looking for NYC nightlife. And there is alot to be said for being in the bustle of midtown. You can get more bang for a few dollars more. I will look further uptown for my next vacation trip. Did I mention very small rooms? On the plus side, the staff was very friendly, the rooms were pristine, there is a small cafe in the hotel, and there are enough restaurants and bars nearby to work for a quick trip. Very small rooms. The lobby is a hallway, the elevators are tiny, and the rooms are functional but small. Everything about this hotel is downsized and "crammed in". It is also a bit of a challenge to find among the narrow financial district streets. station can be tough. The Reserve is easy to get to by subway, but navigating the Fulton St.
I got a great Expedia price for a 3 night stay.Good hotel for a quick business trip.
. Would stay there again. Rooms are modern. Small but comfortable and clean. A block over from Ground Zero.Nice hotel
Hotel was nice for the price.
. In fact, I am going back in September and have booked with them again.Enjoyable stay
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Reserve and would come back again.
. I had to go to the hotel lobby to connect. It did not work in my room. The hotel said they had wireless internet access throughout the hotel. Only one complaint.Almost perfect
Very nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff.
. We didnt spend much time in our room because we were seeing the city but the beds were very comfortable and they have what one would need or just ask and the staff will have it ready for you. Id rather have the narrow halls and a nice size room, they arent large but they are nice for what we wanted. One may find the hallways narrow but then space in NYC is a hard thing to find. Its location is what we like as well as the comfort and clean rooms.
It is a great place to stay if you want to be close to the financial area of NYC.Everything was the way you would like a hotel to be including the staff.

Travelers tip on dining
Check out the South St Seaport nearby for a variety of delicious food. Smallish rooms, but with Queen size beds that are very comfortable, showers with very good water pressure, good size LCD TVs (with more news channels than anything else) and a good friendly bar/restaurant on the lobby floor.Great Cheap Hotel In Financial District!
Friendly service.
Enjoy!. Did I mention that its right in front of the Federal Reserve (thus the name Hotel Reserve)? So you could say that its in one of the most highly secured areas in the city. It has a fantastic location.
Travelers tip on saving a few bucks
Overall, its a great value for your buck. Oh and the secondary bolt on my door needs to be fixed. Though I thought that this incident couldve been avoided. The staff was very patient and helpful so that was comforting. On my 2nd night, it beeped incessantly and had to call the maintenance twice to have it fixed. Nice bed, nice bathroom, nice flat screen tv, and best of all free internet access! sweet! The only things I would like to be improved was 1) if there could be a small fridge, thatd be swell; and 2) the smoke alarm needs some tending to. The room was quite spacious, which I did not expect looking at the hotel from the outside. Got a good view of the top of NY City Hall and a couple of penthouses. Upon checking in, I was pleased to know that Ill have a room on the topmost floor, the 20th. None the less, it does have its charms. Not to mention that you cant really see it easily from the street coz its a narrow building and the grey facade doesnt really make it stand out among its neighbors. Going to the hotel from JFK was a bit tricky due to the ongoing road constructions around the area. At first I was a bit apprehensive since there were mixed reviews, but luckily my stay was fantastic. I wasnt so familiar with it and so I relied a lot on the reviews.Great location, great value!
I stumbled on Hotel Reserve while browsing through the list of 3-4 star hotels in Expedia.
Impressed
Highly recommended for a short stay in downtwon Manhattan.
Go to "Charleys" one block south of WTC - its open WAY late & has excellent greasy food (and salads too, if youre into that sorta thing). Free wi-fi a huge plus! Definitely recommend stay here!

Food near hotel hard to find if you return late at night. Room is small but immaculate & the bed is the most comfortable Ive slept in. Starbucks on corner & fast food one block away open early for bfast. Where else in NYC will the hotel staff remember who you are - including the maintenance guy - who is VERY knowledgeable about the area & is so friendly & helpful! (never needed maintenance help, hes just nice) The area is empty at night, but OK. Friendly people, smiles, check in & out is a breeze, more helpful than we could have asked for. Service is impeccable. Short walk to Wall & Broad & Battery Park.Best service ever! immaculate rooms & friendly, helpful staff!!
Hotel is in great location one block from WTC & subway, and across the street from Fed Reserve.
We will be staying here again for sure--the staff are amazing!. The room was beautiful and modern, all new bath, and the bed was VERY comfy. What a Sleeper!
We were a bit apprehensive when we approached the main entrance, however the friendly, helpful staff put at ease right away.

Travelers tip on recreational activities
Quick walk to the Brooklyn Bridge for great views and the best NY pizza on the other side. Quick walk to Wall St or ground zero. The location is very close to the subway which is a quick ride to many places in the city.Great Hotel, good location
The room was clean, the staff friendly and helpful.
. I would stay there again on a business trip without hesitation. The staff was more than friendly and courteous. The area is very quiet at night, no real hotspots nearby. The room was small but perfect for my needs. The room was clean and had a decent internet connection. Great for business travel.Modest, Clean and Friendly
A great little place in the heart of the financial district.
. Would definately stay there again. Safe, short subway walk, staff are friendly and helpful, near restaurants. It is perfect for the single traveller or couple without children who needs a comfortable place to sleep, work, and travel to areas in lower NYC/Brooklyn--mostly due to the small size of the rooms.Hotel Reserve
This unassuming hotel was a surprisingly comfortable and cost-effective option.
. u cannot go wrong with this hotel...Bigggg for NY & sooooo cozy
King size bed, nice and clean.
. It can be incredibly expensive to stay in Manhattan, but this hotel was cheaper than many hotels in much less interesting cities, and it was only a quick subway ride away from everything I wanted to see in New York City. I felt that I got much more than my moneys worth. The best part was really its inexpensiveness. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable.Nice Hotel for Cheap
I truly enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Reserve.
. Take the path up to Pier 83 or beyond. The bike path that runs along the Hudson is fantastic & alternative way of experiencing Manhattan. If you feel like bike riding, hire a bike from Battery Park. Also, if you are a Brooklyn Larger Fan, a visit to the brewery is a lot of fun.
Travelers tip on local attractions
Check out Brooklyn Heights, its worth the walk across the bridge. Overall we would recommend staying at this hotel as long as you do not have a fear of small spaces. Only issue we had was being able to access the wireless internet. We did not eat at the cafe attached to the hotel so cannot comment. Location is convenient & at night it is quite. Staff are friendly & helpful. Room was very small but very clean.Small but perfectly formed
Hotel Reserve was good quality for the price.
