Reviews

. Travelers tip on shopping Check out Z gallerie for home goods - unique items. Great location for shopping & night life. There was a very loud wedding going on & we assumed we’d be kept awake half the night but, true to their word, the staff had all the partiers out by 10PM. What we appreciated most however was that the staff did what they said they would do. It is beautifully appointed.Nice place to stay if you want downtown type action We enjoyed the Valencia.

. It is also 4 miles from the airport so very close. Highly recommend this area. The hotel was beautiful as well.Wonderful area to stay in Santana Row had beautiful stores and outdoor bistros as well as a movie theatre! Lots to do and all in walking distance.

. They gave exceptional service, and would go back to that spa - even if not staying @ hotel. This trip I did take advantage of their spa and had an incredible massage - the spa facility is small, exotic and comfortable. Overall, would continue to go back if they consider dropping their inflated price. Walls are thin, noise is a consideration in whatever room type you have there - and I have tried them all. It is visual stunning, but not very well made or constructed. I never mind paying for luxury hotels if they are up to that standard - but I felt this hotel was a bit overpriced for the quality of hotel. Whether staying for business (they have adequate business facilities) to leisure (incredible restaurants, nightlife and shopping) - Hotel Valencia fits the bill.Location 5 star, Hotel Valencia - not quite there Of course you cannot beat the location of the Hotel Valencia on Santana Row.

. My only complaint would be I should have stayed longer. I was very impressed with the accomodations and would stay there again. The hotel was is located in the heart of the shops and has that personalized boutique feel to it. I’m impressed with the area, the stores and this is a great little place to hang out and shop, have lunch or drinks.Great place to stay in San Jose This was not my first time traveling to San Jose for business, but was my first time visiting Santana Row.

. Travelers tip on nightlife This is the happening place on Santana Row, with plenty of great places nearby. The HVAC plant across the street is very noisy if you’d like to open your window. Be careful of rooms on the north/west (?) side. Very well decorated rooms.Great Location Great location.

. Travelers tip on nightlife Dinning and the nightlife on the strip was nice too. There valet parking staff was about the only thing that made my trip great. I would not recomend my family or a friend to stay there.Hotel Valencia The hotel was nice the room smelled like a gym locker room.

Makes you feel at home! Great places to eat in Santana Row! The pool on the rooftop is very nice, even though it can get crowded over the weekend! I would definitely go back, but only for the weekend rate ;).Awesome Hotel! great location! The rooms are just very nice and not in the boring standard design of other Hotels.

Pleasantly surprised!. Lovely courtyard for an evening cocktail before dinner. No need to order from menue at breakfast. Large selections of items.Great Boutique Hotel in Great Shopping Area Loved this hotel! Service was great and continetal breakfast was awesome.

. We will certainly be returning.Santan Row My wife and I enjoy Santana Row, and the Hotel Valencia.

. Shopping and dining plentiful. Travelers tip on dining You can park your car and never use it again during your leisure stay. The hotel itself is exquisite, service is great and it is our favorite place to stay.Location, Location, Location Valencia is smack dab in the middle of the most exclusive shopping area of San Jose, Santana Row.

.Great Location We had a very pleasant, comfortable stay.

Travelers tip Lots to do, so plan to stay a few days and enjoy much attractions,. Even found a great bargin at nearby shop. Love the area and all the shops and restaurants. We got in 3AM and very tired, staff very pleasant and attentive.Extremely Satisfied ! Quality and Comfort, Great Breakfast! Staff extremely professional and helpful.

Travelers tip on dining Cocola bakery (I think) has very (very) poor service!!!!. Valet/Front desk are very helpful. Operator/housekeeping could use a bit of improvement in customer service.Santana row Nice, roomy and contemporary decor.

So is Straits Cafe (which also has a nice nightlife if you’re traveling on the weekend). Amber India is delicious. Travelers tip on dining There are a number of wonderful restaurants in the Mall. personally, I prefer this, so this wasn’t a problem, but if you’re expecting the staff to go out of their way for you, you might be dissapointed... No offers to help with luggage, recommendations for places to see or help booking a reservation. The staff was very friendly, but the experience is similar to a 3 star hotel. The Service of the hotel was almost non-existent.Not very service oriented Very nice hotel in the middle of a nice mall for shopping/dining.

great location and vibe...Loved hotel valencia This was a great stay.

. Travelers tip on local attractions Santana Row with many stores and restaurants. Our room was elegantly decorated and bed provided a comfortable haven which was needed after a long day of shopping at Santana Row.Comfortable Elegance at Santana Row The hotel is inviting with a warm glow and a high energy feel.

. Travelers tip on local attractions Burke Williams Spa next door, also request rooms away from the court yard.Great weekeend getaway Great place for a weekend getaway, since the hotel is at Santana Row you don’t have to leave the area, there are 20 restaurants and movie theaters within a walking distance, the only dissapointment was the spa in the hotel ( there was no steam room, jacuzzi or sauna, and the lounge was to small and unconfortable ), I would recommend Burke Williams Spa ( day spa )next door.

. I love the breafast in the morning.Planning to go back again This is my 4th time staying and i always have a great time.

.Very noisy The hotel bar hosts a party in the courtyard with a live band on Fridays that seems to be in your room until 10PM, the crowd noise in the courtyard on both nights of my stay rendered the room usless for sleepiing until after 1PM.

. Very romantic setting.Excellent Excellent place to stay in, in the center of Santana Row.

. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a quiet getaway. We also enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi and the continental breakfast the next morning. The menu selection and quality were top notch. We were planning on visiting one of the many restaurants or bars in the area for dinner, but were enjoying our room so much, we ordered room service instead. We were impressed by the decor and cleanliness of the room. I had heard about the hotel by visiting the V-Bar, which is a bar in the hotel open to the public. My girlfriend and I stayed here for our 6 month anniversary and had a phenomenal time.Great Stay - Can’t wait to visit again.

Great place Hotel Valencia is in walking distance of plenty of great restaurants, stores, and entertainment.

Great urban weekend getaway!.Great Urban Getaway Great restaurants and shopping and nightlife right next to the hotel.

. It was not horrible, but I felt the employees there did not care enough about the customers’ need. The service needs to be improved. The design, the cleanliness, the surrounding areas, and all the restaurants nearby.Great Hotel My family love the hotel.

. Turn down service was also sporadic. Minibar not restocked once during a five day stay. Even after order delivered one hour late, they still forget silverware.Service not up to standard Room service overwhelmed on a recent Sunday.
