. Waterfalls and hawaiian plants throughout the grounds. Our garden view had a beautiful lily pond with koi and ducks right off the patio. Clean, spacious, extremely comfortable king size bed.Good Find This was a nice little find for the Wailea area.

. Also take advantage of the coupons, happy hour and manager’s specials you’ll find for a variety of restaurants in the area. Food is expensive and you can save quite a bit eating leftovers and snacks. Travelers tip on saving a few bucks To save money, I highly recommend renting a microwave, and stocking up on a few items at the market. Overall, this hotel is a great location if you’re looking for a quiet, secluded base for your stay in Maui and would definitely stay here again. While this was perfect for us, this may not work for a lot of people. While it has some of the amenities of a large resort there is no regular entertainment or nightlife and you wake up to the sound of birds chirping in the morning. We saw a few families with children but I think my daughter would’ve gotten bored here. Once there you have access to beach chairs, towels umbrellas and bottled water unti 3pm. The hotel is not on the water, however the offer shuttle will take you to Wailea beach which is less than 5 mminutes away. The first few days we took advantage of the shuttle service which was always prompt and a convenient way to get around Wailea without a car. We didn’t eat at the resturant (which was pretty expensive), use the pool (nice but small) or the spa. The hotel offers a complimentary continental breakfast every morning, it doesn’t have the greatest selection but we made the best of it while we were there. The grounds are pretty and well maintained with Japanese garden influence. Our accomodations reminded us of a small apartment, very spacious with a full size balcony and lounge chairs to watch the sunset in the evening. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly staff who upgraded us to a partial oceanview room.Loved the Hotel Wailea My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Wailea from 8/22-8/27/09 during part of our honeymoon.

. saw people at the marriot and four seasons, not as nice.Awesome place, best rates if the price is right, stay here.
