. I think that it would be a great place for family or business people to stop at. They even have a pool that was very clean looked very inviting that the guests could use. It was in a good location but the directions could be a little clearer on how to get into it.Very pleased with stay The room was very clean.

This location is close, convenient, and just what I needed for a few days of peace, quite, and wordsmithing!. Will stay again, definately Travelers tip on saving a few bucks Occasionally I need to get away from the noise of a big household in order to concentrate on my novel. I got exactly that. I needed a room with a bed, bath and internet access. My expectations and requirements were not high, so I was not disappointed. Location is convenient, just off the interstate, but far enough away to not hear road sounds at night. Room appeared to have new furnishings, and there was the very faint hint of recently being painted. Hotel appears to be finishing up on renovations, as evidenced by ongoing work. Don’t need the frills.Just the bed/web please.

. Overall it was good for the price. The room was good but I could other people in their rooms. The people at the desk were nice and helpful. I liked the ease of getting there, just off the freeway.Affordable The price was right.

. Will never stay there again. Nothing really. The breakfast they claim to offer was instant cereal with toast. They were very indignant about it. There was price discrepancies, I was told one price by one person for an extra night then another price by another person next day. They must have a lot of trouble there. The owners and their family know little english the ones that do are extremely rude, the maids are rude, there are police prowling the property all the time night and day, it was very uncomfortable. Too many police all around, sheriffs, etc.Will never stay there again.

.Not good Carpet was wet from leaking sink, terrible mold and smoke smell, even though it was a non-smoking room.

.com does not promote these types of services with their other hotels. I hope that Expedia. I was not pleased at all with this hotel and will never stay here again. She said they cleaned the room because there was a Check mark next to our room, when in fact our room was never cleaned or re-stocked with items for another night’s stay. When we checked out and brought this disapointment to their attention we received no compensations or even a simple "Sorry", just an argument going back and forth between us. The hotel was under construction which I can understand being an inconvenience for everyone, but no actions were taken to warn the guests about the noise in the morning from the workers and there were no efforts by the staff to ensure my stay at the Howard Johnson be a nice one. When we called for pillows and blankets we were given a hard time and no service.Not Impressed Over the course of the two nights staying there, our room was not cleaned once.

Don’t recommend this place!!!!!!!. Ended up getting up at 5:30 AM and leaving because of the smoke smell and the uncomfortable bed. worst place I have ever stayed in. furniture was broken and ill repair. Sink was disgusting.Worst stay I’ve ever experienced I asked for non-smoking and the room smelled so bad of stale smoke I could not breath.

. poor quality. Ugh!!! Good price but v. Worst of all there was a dying roach on the bathroom floor in the morning. Falling down wallpaper in the bathroom bent towel rack and many feet of TV Cable Coiled on the floor in the sink area. No bedside tables or lamps, no pictures on the walls.Not Impressed Hard to find at night no lighted sign.
