Travelers tip on dining
Try Jeffries for a great dinner and the Stonebridge for good food and a beautiful building. The staff was polite and very knowledgeable. This is a bit uncomfortable especially when sharing a room as I did. Also, I really dont like rooms where the bathroom sink is in the bedroom. I wish there had been a larger eating area for breakfast.
I liked just about everything at this hotel.Very reliable hotel, good-sized and clean rooms, near good shopping and restaurants.
. WONT GO BACK. Despite two more calls to different people at the desk, they all promised to call back but did not.He said he would check the next day and call back. I called the same night after I checked out and was told that the clerk couldnt check because he was all alone at the desk. The main complaint was that after forgetting my phone recharger I got no help from the staff. No local newspaper box, brochures, vending machines on my (fifth) floor. But, there was only one small dresser with three drawers, no drawer on the nightstand, a hard to set clock alarm, only one sink for three adults.Sterile environment
The room was very clean and had a nice view of the marshes, egrets, redwing blackbirds, etc.
. I would definitely stay at a Hyatt Place again, especially since the price was very very reasonable. The TV was a large flat screen that had hook ups for all sorts of other media. The room was incredibly comfortable with the kitchenette area and desk separated from the sleeping area by half wall. The staff were great and the hotel was very lovely.Really great value and comfortable
I had never stayed at a Hyatt Place before and was very pleasantly surprised.
.Deal close to New Haven
This hotel is an excellent value if you need to be relatively close to Yale and the New Haven airport.
. It will be the fourth one as well.Optimum hotel for the price
This is my third stay at this hotel.
. CLose to downtown New Haven and not far from New York City. Plenty of everything - shopping, dining, entertainment. Other than that I would stay there anytime and advise my friends to do the same!
Travelers tip on nightlife
Wonderful location. The only complaint is that the housekeeping crew waited much too long to reset my room and they knew I was staying a second day. Staff was extremely kind and attentive.Excellent Hotel and Location
Overall I had a great stay.
Service was friendly and efficient. Very comfortable.Comfortable
Close and convenient to mall, shopping, new haven, and restaurants.
Great quality for the price.
What else to say? I will come back in Milford area very soon and for sure it will be my place to stay. The room is large, very well equipped and quiet. I enjoyed the possibility of light dining 24h/7, including hot breakfast.Do not hesitate one second to book a room at this hotel
100% satisfied! The staff is smily and helpful.
. The convertable sofa is rock-hard with sagging cushions. The windows are bolted shut and without the a/c on, the room is stuffy.Funky room layout and supersonic ac
Staff is friendly, helpful and professional, but the one-speed-only jet-engine air conditioner right next to the bed wont let you sleep, and the positioning of the bed leaves a 1 1/2 foot wide passage way.
. Great place to stay. Comfy couch with blanket. The room is very modern, nice large flat screen TV, free wifi, even video hookups to the TV. They offer a kiosk check-in.Great ammenities
My stay here was short but well serviced.
. we tried the Stonebridge Inn, and liked it enough to return on future trips.
Travelers tip on local attractions
maybe a mile away is downtown Milford, which has several decent-looking restaurants and bars and shopping clustered around a village green. would absolutely stay here again. the front desk was helpful with nearby restaurant suggestions and directions. the room was nicely decorated, loved the large flat-screen television for sports, and it was spacious and comfortable. although located in a somewhat commercial area (the back fronted open fields, but otherwise its mostly warehouses and parking areas, and the like), this hotel was very good. The I-95 corridor in central Connecticut is full of mediocre, run-down and dirty places, but this hotel is the exception.Good find
This is a nice hotel.
Close to highway but enougth far to be quiet Accodomations are good, even for familly

Beach at 2 miles.
.We wil stay this hotel again
The hotel is very clean and comfortable.
Travelers tip on local attractions
Fortunately there is a very nice mall close to the hotel that my kids enjoyed since there wasnt really a pool. Also the pool is not a pool but a large hot tub, not so good for kids. The only problem was that there was not a bar as was printed in the information online. the rooms were very nice as was te staff.Conveniently located
We did enjoy our stay at this hotel.
.) 24-hour food service provided very nice offerings at a fairly reasonable price... Hotel staff seemed to have little to do and would often seem to be aimlessly wandering in the lobby (automated check-in so no lobby desk to be busy with I guess. Also, they do not have a pool. Simple stuff like the Disney channel on the televisions. The hotel has many amenities for the business traveler (mini-meeting rooms, automated check-in) but sometimes is missing amenities those for kids.Tailored to the Business Traveler
I was there with my young son on a leisure trip.
..Best hotel for the price
Hyatt Place is undoubtly the best hotel for the price in New Haven area; definitely recommended.
. Large flat panel was viewable from either couch or bed by swivel mount. Free high-speed, a large flat screen tv in the room, decent work area and nice couch.
Considering the price on the room it was excellent.Great place that was very nice for the price.
. The rooms were very clean. The TVs in the rooms are great, the staff very friendly.Very clean and nice beds
I would highly recommend this hotel.
They got it right 100% Cant wait to return (In fact, I almost stayed an extra night because its THAT good!. other than that THIS place raises the bar considerably.... The other reviews are very positive and right on the money, so I cant add much.Just GREAT!
This hotel just blew me away.
. Overall we were satisfied and plan to return. The coffeemaker in the room was cute but the brew was not meant for serious coffee drinkers. We only took the excellent coffee. The continental breakfast appeared well stocked. The bathroom could benefit from its own heat unit and safety strips in the shower. Sound traveled a little to well and the activity in the next room was very graphic. It was spacious for a weekend. The large room/suite would have been great if we were still traveling for business. The hotel was very clean and well lighted. The hotels proximity to I95, The Longwharf Theater and some pretty good restaurants was a definite plus.
We used this hotel as a base for a relaxing theater and casual dining weekend.A Great Weekend base, well return.
. I will definitely make it my hotel of choice if I am in Connecticut again. Very pleasantly decorated, the staff are very courteous and helpful, and the LCD-HD TVs in the rooms are great!!! I had a very nice time and recommend it highly. My hotel of choice if I am near the Milford area!
I was so impressed with the Hyatt Place Milford from the lobby to the room.
. I will use this hotel again. Food delicious. Staff was friendly. The room was clean and maid service came every day.Pleasant Stay
The hotel was easy to find.
. I look forward to seeing this hotel roll-out in other parts of the country as well. The availability of a hot meal is a bonus. Free continental breakfast is superior to any other chain. There can be be a tight passage from the sitting area to the bed, but staring at the 52" flat screen TV makes it an acceptable inconvenience. The kitchenette with fridge and large vanity area are welcome as well. The rooms are stylish, have good work areas, and are very comfortable.Great concept
As far as business traveler hotel concepts go, Hyatt Place has got it right.
