. So everything was great. We had breakfast every morning included. Very helpful . near ocean , very nice stuff .Very Satisfied
I defiantly recommend this hotel.
. Dont forget your sunscreen. Also, watch and listen to the surfer instructors on the beach for a day or 2 then walk down the street and rent a board for half as much and twice as long. Save your receipts for free gifts.

Youll be surprised how much you use the ABC stores. The hotel staff were always friendly and helpful and there is an expedia desk located in the lobby who gave out helpful and useful info to us on numerous occasions. There is live music at night, the hotel is steps away from the beach, is centrally located and the view from the spa is exactly how it looks on the web site. The pool and bar area are great.Loved the pool/bar
We just got back and are already planning another trip.
Lost some weight perspiring all night

Bring your own sunscreen.... Day manager sent a bottle of wine. Witnessed others complaining, too, when no water at time promised. No refund. Pathetic 4 ounce bottles of water provided when complained to night manager for refund. One single mens toilet in a parking lot across the street for the male guests. No toilet usable. No water, no notice by Expedia, no air conditioning. Water system upgrade our first night. No water no Air conditioning
Unbelievable.
Hyatt
would definatly recomend this hotel to anyone.
. Swap meet for good prices for your take home souvenirs and gifts, but you need to use your bargaining skills.

you must try the parasailing at Maunalua Bay as for dining, the Terrace Grille at the Hyatt is far so good and affordable. All in all this will not stop us from returning at The Hyatt. No energy to watch the Aloha festival that night. The only disappointment we had was, we arrived at 1PM at the hotel and had to wait for 3PM check in,my husband and I were so tired, they could have offered us an early check in considering the time difference where we came from, we needed some rest and sleep. Susan provided us everything we need in the room.. kind and helpful housekeeping service.. nice...
stayed on the Ewa tower 11th floor ....Will consider Hyatt again.

We realized that you dont really need to have a vehicle since there are plenty of buses and shuttles that take you anywhere you want to go. It seemed like we kept going in circles before we finally found it. It was hard to find the entrance to the hotel as well as the main lobby which was located on the second floor. Otherwise the staff was very helpful and accomodating.Hyatt Hotel
The cost for parking was extremly high more than the cost to rent the car for the day.
Great!.

Try the Hawaiian Coffee shop across the street at the Moana Surfrider hotel. I would stay there again. Great location. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. So you have to use an escalator to get to street level--not real convenient if youre handling your own bags. The elevator for the rooms does not go all the way to the street level, they stop at the 2nd floor. The noise from the street below is significant when the sliders are open. Some rooms have a partial view of the beach.Elegant Hotel
The hotel is the other side of the street from Waikiki Beach.
However we were only there for 2 nights so it was fine! If I was going back Waikiki I would go to another hotel. The bathroom was a bit weird as it had carpet! Its a huge hotel & breakfast there was a always a huge queue so we never ended up eating there as we couldnt be bothered waiting! For a Hyatt hotel I was quite disappointed as have stayed in hyatts before & they have always been nice. Hotel was ok, room was just average.Ok but wouldnt rush back!
Great location, right opposite the beach.
. I have never seen such bugs in 4 star hotels.Bugs
We found bugs in our room.
Not impressed
not kindness not clearance not calm good a location.
. Lots of little cute places on north side. Enjoyed the Pupukea and Sunset Beach area. Drove around a lot and really enjoyed the beach off the air strip on the north shore.

The entire north side of Oahu was incredible. Overall, not satisfied with the expeirence. Also woken up by drummer parks outside the hotel at 2:00am; had to call the front again to get them to go outside and shut them up. Shouldnt be any problem with that, right? Except some surfing expo right on the beach across the street that started blaring air horns from 6:30am every day (including Saturday) and went until after dark every night. Moved us to 14th floor with ocean view. Was able to change rooms the next day after a sleepless night. hard to believe when Hawaii is in such a bad recession and they had 30% decline in tourism plastered on every newspaper and news report... When we got our bags we called the front to change rooms to something preferably under 50 decibles but they didnt have any. Called down and waited for bags then realized the sound in the room (which sounded like somebody moving furniture) was actually the elevator bank noisily scrapping their way up and down up and down. Came back in 2 hours, checked in, got a nice room on floor 31, no bags. So we left our bas which they said would be in our room when we came back.Noisy and in need of updating
Starts with a full package trip and the hotel not being ready to check-in when we arrived.
. Although the ABC Store is reasonable and there everywhere. Mahola!

Waikiki is very expensive but if you get out of Waikiki thats were you will find good deals on dining and/or shopping. For sure this will be the place I would stay again in Oahu. I totally recommend this hotel for families. 30th, stayed the whole week there and never had any problems. We just got back Aug. My husband, and especially my kids, never got bored. I love the fact that you can borrow towels at the pool to take to the beach. Our room was always clean. Staff was nice and so helpful in getting around town and Oahu. It was absolutely the best place to stay.I loved my location!!!!
Everything is so close by, beach, shopping and nightlife.
Will stay again
good location and good service.
Skip the Polynesian Cultural Center, its just another anondyne theme park and Doles Pineapple plantation whilst instructive was also overly commercialised.

Two things that you must visirt are firstly Pearl Harbour just outside Honolulu on the other side of the airport and North Shore and its environs on Oahu. All told,I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to any visitor to Hawaii. If there are to be any gripes at all it would have to be two things, firstly the surcharge for the internet, lesser hotels offer that for free and the bathroom was nothing special and failed to match up to the comfort and decor of the rest of the room. All the staff that I encountered were pleasantly polite and helpful and my commodious room was kept meticulously clean. My room on 31st floor had very good view of Waikiki beach although the sight of the other hotel tower was obtrusive.Lots of shops on the hotel premisies to browse through, mostly emporia style stores but with one of the ubiquitous ABC stores to provide essential needs.Untypically for US hotels a lavish buffet-style "stuff your face" breakfast was included in the price and Ihappily and greedily availed myself of this facility.Although the interiors were a bit dark it was not gloomily so and if anything helped to mitigate the heat and humidity. The specatacular interior waterfall and rain forest style atrium was a special touch and added cachet to the premises. An experience to remember
As my first ever visit to Hawaii, this hotel made it a trip to remember.
The hotel staff are very nice
i lost my cellphone and i got it back ,hotel staff brought it back and they are really nice.
.Great hotel for the price
Clean room with great views friendly staff made our stay enjoyable.

Dukes on the beach had great food and drinks!. Their Expedia help desk helped us plan any activities we wanted to do!! The beach is across the street but wouldve rathered have stayed at a hotel w/privite beach b/c it was crowded and had to pay $25 any day we wanted an umbrella and chairs to lay on. Overall the staff was great and nice all the time. Pool is extreamly small for such a big hotel. Drinks were great at the bar. $25 breakfast buffet is ridiculous when the food was nothing to rave about.Very pricey hotel! But Hawaii is pricey in general!
This hotel is pricey, especially on food! Which I was not impressed.
. It is very convenient for shoppers and windsurfers! Every room has a balcony for you to enjoy the Ocean view. The hotel service and atmosphere is nice and it is extremely close to the Waikiki Beach.A very nice hotel
We got a free upgrade from City View Room to Partial Ocean View Room.
. Other than that-it was a great place to stay and would go back. I do wish they had a dresser-I hate living out of a suit case and I had to because it was myself with my 3 kids and there were only 3 drawers along with the closet. Clean rooms, good food and the location in Waikiki could not get much better! In the middle of everything! Beautiful views of ocean and mountains and the city. Friendly helpful staff.Location, location, location!
Great location, excellent service.
. everything you need to just relax. convenient. close to the beach.
great hotel.Great for a relaxing vacation.

none.I will never go back to that hotel. Too times key to the room didnot work called for the service still no appology. No upgrades what so ever. Offered me a king size bed to change it next day to room that was requested 41 days before my arrival. Not impressed at all
Did not have my room ready at 5 PM.
. Great location and great service (especially the pool). Besides the bed issue, everything else was great though. Plus, the room was right by the elevator.we were on our honeymoon and they gave us the double beds instead of king/queen size bed... Except.
Everything about the hotel was great, including the cleanliness and the view....Everything was great except.
. I will definitely be headed back. Location is wonderful and our stay was perfect.Awesome hotel for the money
The hyatt is a great place to stay.
.Cant wait to go back
Cant wait to go back.
. If you want to see the ocean from your room make sure you get the deluxe ocean view as the "ocean" view really didnt seem to have one. You can check out towels and tote bag at pool to go to beach. Beach and surf boards were right accross the street and location for walking to shopping, restaurants, aquarium etc was great. The staff was excellent and always willing to help with a smile.Cant wait to go back
The location and amenities at this hotel were perfect for our family.
