I was no really impressed with this hotel the price was high but the services and room were not goodNot good.Rating:5
i love chicagothe cost was reasonable and it was close for shopping..Rating:4
great weekend valuespacious well appointed rooms. the only improvement I would like to see is an airport shuttle, or a prix-fix cab arrangement.Rating:4
Nice place to stay. The Hotel was nice, and fairly quiet. The bed was very comfortable. There were a couple of things that were a little unpleasant only one of which were the responsibility of the hotel, rude behavior by other guest do not fall under your responsibilty. The one things was, that someone had ordered room service, finished, and placed the the room service dishes on the floor outside their room and it sat there for nearly our intire stay at the Hyatt.Rating:4
nice facility, dull locationThis hotel is perfectly nice if you are attending a conference in Schaumberg. However, it is far from central Chicago, and there is virtually nothing to do within easy range of the hotel.

Nice place.Nice quiet, clean room. Close to the Mall and other shopping and restaurants. Helpful staff. The iHome mp3 speaker/clock radio was an excellent touch.Rating:5
Very nice, affordable hotel in a great location! The hotels location was perfect! In walking distance of Ikea and restaurants even the mall! Though for shopping you would probably want to drive. The room was clean and comfortable! My only problem was there was no plug in near the bed, but other then that it was a nice stay.
Travelers tip on shoppingIkea is very close, within walking distance. Woodfield Mall is right across the street as well as many other outlet stores. Greta shopping area.Rating:5
Highly satisfiedMy stay at the Hyatt was great, whenever Im the area I will be staying at the Hyatt.Rating:4
Had enough PillowsHave you ever stayed at a hotle that only gave you two pillows for a queens size bed. This hotel had 8 pillows per bed. It was nice not to have to call down to the front desk to ask for additional pillows.Rating:5
Excellent choiceWe have visited Chicago twice, Oct 2008 and Nov 2008, and each time we stayed at this Hyatt. I have no plans to stay any other place when visiting this area. Location of the hotel and staff at the hotel cant be beat!Rating:3
Under renovationThe hotel was under renovation which was unexpected. There was no notice that it would be under renovation.Rating:4
Make sure you request a newly remodled roomRemodled rooms are really nice. The old rooms are just old.Rating:1
One star at bestMost of the rooms were under construction, so all guests were in one area. Fitness center was dismantled. Sports bar was not open. Whirlpool was closed. Building exterior was ancient. Outdoor pool was inbetween buildings and therefore without any sun. Reccomend you stay elsewhereRating:4
It was a good hotel but.....The hotel was a nice place to stay and attend a conference. The conference room was exetremely cold though. As far as the hotel room was concerned, it was nice. The air conditioning and heating unit was a little slow in getting to the desired temperature but it eventually did get there. One of the elevator doors would not open for us, but we were only stuck for about a minute. Nice fitness center and lap pool.Rating:4
Pro--close to Woodfield Mall; Con--older hotel and small roomIm not sure if this hotel was worth the money. The room was just a standard two double bed hotel room that was OK. It was really nothing special. I did like the Arts and Crafts period theme in the lobby and hallways. The hotels closeness to great shopping is a big plus and is the reason why we stayed there.Rating:2
DisappointedWe were extremely disappointed with this hotel as a whole. I expected much more convenience and room amenities from an "upper scale" establishment such as this one. Ive had more comfort and ease at "lesser" considered places. I would not spend this kind of money at this hotel/chain again.Rating:5
East meets Westclose to shopping really convenient to everything great walking trail close by.
Travelers tip on recreational activitiesGreat park with walking trails and amazing wildlife.Rating:3
Fine -- but not up to Hyatts standardsHad this hotel not been a Hyatt property -- the review would have been higher -- however this property is not up to Hyatts standards in our opinion. Although the folks at the front desk were accomodating -- there was no effort to go beyond expectations. There was no valet service or bell hops for that matter. Room was cleaned and had the terrific beds Hyatt is known for -- however, there was no mini-bar in our room, no exhaust fan in bathroom to reduce steam from shower, bath room was extremely small -- and maids "forgot" to leave hand towels/wash cloths -- not the service I expect from a Hyatt. If it was not for the non-smoking policy of the hotel and the terrific beds -- I would not recommend this hotel to other travelers.Rating:3
Comfy Nights StayThe room was quite big. It was clean and comfortable.Rating:3
Great StaffThe staff at this hotel went out of their way to ensure a good experience. They were friendly, helpful, and attentive. The hotel room service was amazing. The only problem I encountered was the bed. It was so firm that it was uncomfortable. I woke up feeling stiff and bruised.
Travelers tip on diningIf you go to the bar in the hotel, make sure you ask for Betty. She makes amazing drinks.Rating:5
short and sweetI only stayed at the Hyatt Regency Woodfield for one night, but it was a very pleasant stay. The shuttle to the mall made an extra trip, the front desk was helpful in several ways and the staff was always pleasant.
Travelers tip on shoppingThe second largest mall in the US is right across the street. A nice addition to your destination.Rating:4
Very quiet for good restful nights. It would have been very helpful for have a simple continental breakfast offered with the room. We had limited time in the morning and felt stretched to have to find something reasonbly priced for breakfast.Rating:3
Needs to be updatedI found the room to be too small and outdated. Plenty of pillows but the mattress was outdated, the comforter and window and shower curtains were stained. The uncleanliness I observed made me doubt what the naked eye couldnt see.
Travelers tip on shoppingWoodfield Mall directly across the street. Plenty of dining and local attractions.Rating:5
i liked itgood ocation. some clubs are really closed to the hotel, an the shopping mall is just across the street. perfect!Rating:4
East meets Mid-westAsian inspired hotel with amenities and convenient to shopping and the airport.
