Reviews

.Very good hotel Very good hotel, excelent breakfast, super-polite staff, restaurants around, shopping around, van service, we were very well impressed.

. Got early eck in and even free breakfast the first day.Good airport hotel All excellent, very helpful staff.

. everything was perfect. they went above and beyond to make sure everything was ok.Very nice staff was extremely helpful and very friendly.

. Good to stay with family. You have jakuzi for relaxation. Also it comes with continental breakfast which is cherry on cake. You get all the comfort you are looking for as I got.Value for Price It is indeed a value for the price you pay.

. Saved a lot of money for a hotel that was only a short distance from downtown. Travelers tip on saving a few bucks Close to CTA station, saves a lot to get to downtown chicago with roughly a 1/2 hour train ride. Otherwise it was a great get away place close to the CTA train station into town. The wifi given for us to use went in and out and didnt connect all the time. Whirlpool was small fitting about 5 people and the exercise room consisted of 4 machines. Quiet and great customer service. Nice interior, extras of the room met expectations.Comfortable, updated decor and friendly.

Great value Nothing fancy, but very clean and the included breakfast is much better than most!.

. The room is clean and convenient. The breakfast is great. The double beds are too small. When we checked in, the front desk gave us a smoking room.Just OK I booked the no-smoking double beds room because none of us smoke and we have a child.

. A car is a detriment in the city and mandatory in the burbs. you’ll save yourself time and money if you drop it at a subway park-and-ride lot as far from the loop as you can stand and ride the rail for the rest of it... but renting a car and trying to drive in to downtown is going to be MUCH slower and PARKING STARTS AROUND $20 and goes up steeply from there! If you must have a car... Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay Using the hotel van to get to the mass transit takes extra time and may involve a wait. Fitness room is upstairs - but also normally empty. The chlorine smell is thick! Plenty of towels & privacy - as no one seemed interested during my stay. It is in a small room by the lobby secured with key/card. Try to keep it to less than 10 minutes! No grounds at all & the whirlpool/hot tub is small but serviceable. but it is painfully slow... There’s internet connection/computer in the lobby. The room, divided into front room and bed area, was nice and the fridge wasn’t jammed with the usual honor-bar junk no one wants to pay double for - that’s good! The bath was basic but good & beyond was a mini-microwave and the coffee maker and supplies (there are tiny cups of 1/2&1/2 in the lobby so you don’t have to use the packet of "whitener"). While a spot here or there might be missed, the place is clean and comfortable. Well maintained. Juices too. A waffle station, a selection of condiments attending a large rice-cooker and cold, hard-boiled, peeled eggs. Breakfast: Fruit, yogurt, cereals & mini-muffins. And reluctantly, to O’Hare to catch the subway system (Blue Line). Staff, knowing they’re far from anything (a long way even from the airport which is socked with more clumped up traffic than LAX), will ferry guests to the Metra or drug/big box stores and restaurants from 6am to 10pm.Good place but far from the Loop From lobby to Mag Mile was 1 hour 45 minutes, with no traffic, using the fastest public transit available, including the hotel van ($1/tip), Metra train ($4) and water taxi ($2).

I have already recommended this hotel to friends - we were very satisfied!. The hotel furnished printed directions to major attractions - another plus. We had to use a pull-out sofa, and even that mattress was comfortable - not at all as I had expected.Really good hotel Our room was not exactly what we asked for, but the bed was very comfortable.

...i used it on three occasions..i thought that was a very nice addition to their already very good service Travelers tip on dining there is an excellent resturant/bar right next door..the hotel staff were all interested in how my team was doing..Very comfortable hotel i was in the area for the american legion state tournament.

. I took me a good 2 hours to get from O’hare to Downtown Chicago on the train which cut in to the amount of time I spent sightseeing since I had an extremely short stay.) I had a wonderful stay at Jameson Suites, and wouldn’t think twice about staying there again the next time I visit Chicago! Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay I thought Chicago would be more like New York in terms of accessibility, but it really wasn’t. (So if you’re Japanese or Asian, I’d suggest buying an entree at Mitsuwa which is only two buildings away. Jameson Suites serves complimentary breakfast from 7:00a-9:00a which had a variety of breakfast food from cereal to biscuits and gravy, and a waffle maker! There was also a Japanese breafast with rice w/furikake and miso soup, but there was only boiled eggs to go with the rice. The hotel room was pretty big for the low price, and even came with a fridge and a microwave.Lovely stay!!! ヾ(〃^0^)ノ I arrived to the airport close to 11:00p when the complimentary shuttle service ends, but the hotel staff and driver was extremely helpful and accomodating and picked me up last minute.

Comfortable Room Very Clean, courteous staff, good location.

. Me and my group did not like the idea of driving to another facility. No comment Very nice Hotel, just wish that the swimming pool was at the hotel.

The rooms are not lighted well, but that’s my only complaint. A number of family members were staying there and they were great about getting us in rooms near each other and driving us to the funeral home, etc. This was invaluable during my recent trip for a funeral. None of them offered the same level of amenities for the price: free airport and neighborhood shuttle, free wireless, breakfast. There are other hotels nearby, most of them more expensive, some a bit cheaper.Convenient and a Bargain I have stayed at this hotel several times when visiting family.

. Also, I didn’t see the usual pen and notepad that you find in most hotels. They don’t provide much of the extras. Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay Bring your own toiletries. But we didn’t have a lot of time to watch TV so we never complained to the front desk. It seemed to be loose, so every now and then we would completely lose the signal. One problem we had was with the cable connection. Not far from Woodfield Mall and many restaurants nearby. We were there for a jazz festival and it was in a great location. Not a lot of extras, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable.Good Location Overall, we were pleased with the room for its price.

. Was clean and priced competitively.Had a good time It was a nice place to stay not very far away from either downtown or airport.

. Little spendy but worth it. Travelers tip on dining Excellent seafood restaurant near the hotel called Pappadeaux. Overall not very satisfied, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The hair dryer in my room was taped to stay in one piece. There was nobody at breakfast to help, refill or keep it clean. It was dirty, breakfast was horrible and the whole place stinks.Didn’t like it For the price the hotel was not very nice.

." We expected a small refrigerator as well as the microwave oven, which was all we found in the room. The hotel advertised the room as a "kitchenette suite. We expected a small refrigerator to store perishables. Not what we expected A hotel that advertises its rooms as "kitchenette suites" should provide more than a microwave oven.

. as it is right off the interstate it was also convenient. IT was reasonably priced as well.Jameson Suites a good place to stay I found the Jameson to be clean well run and comfortable.

There was even a mini-kitchen with plates and silverware!.Handy for our purposes Not really a place you’d want to stay if you wanted the action and excitement of Chicago close at hand, but it was a nice, affordable, comfortable home base during our apartment hunt.

Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay If you’re going to the NW suburbs, and cost is a consideration, it would be hard to beat!. Decent restaurants nearby. Breakfast buffet was just OK, but adequate. The room was clean, and the bed was as good as any in hotels costing 3-4 times as much. Can’t beat the value! I was very pleased with the hotel overall, especially for the cost.

I would just say this is not the worst hotel but if you can spending $ to go on vacation, you should really pay a little extra for a nicer place to stay!. I have no problem with the noise from the traffic outside. It’s right next to the highway so you would think it’s fast to just jump on it but you have to pay toll so watch out. Location is ok but be VERY CAREFUL with toll road. maintanence service is fast though, our fridge was melting ice and we had it replaced within an hour. The suite is small, they basically added a wall between the bed and sofa and call that a suite. Not sure if just the one we stayed in smells like this or all the rooms do. The room smells really weird like cat peepee. The hotel is really not THAT BAD, but I wouldn’t say it’s a good deal for the amt of $ I paid for it.I would rather spend a bit more to get a better hotel Please don’t get me wrong.

Travelers tip on dining Excellent Greek restraunt within walking distance. The only downside was the toilet had a leak but we let the hotel staff know and it was taken care of by the time we returned that evening. Great restraunts in the area. Breakfast was great. Bed was comfortable. Room was well laid out.Great place to lay your head We had a great stay.

. Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay Catch the breakfast bar. I would stay there again. It’s a bit of a distance from where I needed to be but it’s definitely a good hotel. The staff was pleasant and left us alone (meaning there wasn’t staff knocking at our door every hour like at the last hotel we were at). odd, it was comfortable... Though the layout of the room is somewhat. My girlfriend and I had a king non smoking room. The staff was nice and the room was clean.Quiet and Clean I found exactly what I wanted in this hotel.

. Six Flags was my son’s favorite and they had some amazing rollercoasters. Seeing "Wicked" was the highlight of our trip. It’s worth it to buy the membership for a family as it’s less expensive than paying for each exhibit and parking. Travelers tip on local attractions We loved the Museum of Science and Industry and ended up spending an entire day there. We’d definitely stay again. The breakfast is great and a nice money-saver. Different sites had conflicting information on this. Just to clear up the pool issue, there is no swimming pool, just a whirlpool in a small room. It was comfortable and quiet.Good Value We enjoyed our stay at Jameson Suites.
