. Travelers tip on saving a few bucks Kitchens in room make it easy to save on dining. It’s a fantastic hotel right in the middle of paradise. Will Definitely Go Back! We loved it.

. Very welcoming to kids. I definitely would go back. Two thumbs up! Clean comfortable room, very comfy bed, and staff were sincerely nice.

. We’re from LA where some of the best sushi restaurants are and we were blown away by the quality, portions and price! A definite must if you like Japanese food. We read the reviews, some of them lukewarm. Travelers tip on dining A fantastic meal can be had at Kintaro. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and have in fact recommended it to friends that are staying here next month. The place is so well located with the shopping center across the street. We were happy to see that we were not treated any differently since we were staying as guests, not owners. I came back with my family and was very happy that we had a terrific garden view room that was immaculate.Great find I had stayed here last year with a friend of mine who has a timeshare.

The helicopter ride with Island Helicopters was the best!. Overall a good trip. Many of the restaurants overcook their food. The best place we ate was Tropical Burger in Poipu, then the Pizzette, their pasta is good and the Olympic Cafe. We tried Eggberts for dinner and they only had like three selections and the price was out of the universe. The only good place to eat and not expensive was a BBQ stand. It is a joke. As far as the Coconut Market Place across the parking lot. I took care of this after the second message and disconnected our room phones. Skip this, it is only a ploy to get you to talk with the conceirge so she can get your room number to call everyday. They try and get you to go their presentation at checkin by telling you that you need a parking permit. Also, remember this is a timeshare. The walls are paper thin as far as instulation for the pipes. Oh, and the water every morning from the upstairs occupants woke us up. The kitchen HAD ANTS. There was no place to put our shampoos except on the fold down bench for the handicap person. I wonder how a handicapped person would have closed it.The shower curtain was very hard to pull closed and it finally ripped our final night there. There was only a shower which went all the way to the tile floor for a handicap person. I believe the room was really meant for handicap occupants, because the doors were oversized and the bathroom was HUGE with handicap handrails.Ok My family and I had a lower level condo.

We had privacy, beautiful grounds, terrific room and access to everything we needed without paying an arm and a leg for everything!!!! definitely would stay again!!!! Plus it was pretty centralized to all activites!. Plus, you’re in Kauai for the ocean and honestly the beachfront at the kauai coast resort was more private and larger. We visited the Grand Hyatt one day just to see the differnce and yes, it was beautiful, but not worth paying the extra money for and you woul’ve had to drive to eat anywhere else or shop. It was clean, onsite restaurant was reasonably priced, staff was friendly, room was clean, updated and the grounds were immaculate!! There’s a small outside shopping center across the parking lot with even less expensive little cafe’s to eat at and plenty of shops to choose from.Wonderful and beautiful We loved it there!!! We opted for this resort in lieu of the grand hyatt resort because of the cost and we were VERY happy we did.

Central location, Travelers tip on local attractions Walk or bike the Kapa’a coast trail!. Very helpful staff. A restaurant to die for.Third visit and there will be a fourth!! Spacious, well appointed condo with beautiful ocean front grounds.

. Travelers tip on saving a few bucks The room have a full kitchen and the grocery store is really close. The restaurant in the hotel is amazingly good- the fish was the best! Overall, this was a great experience. Great location, clean and a super good deal.Good Value The hotel was not the most lavish on the island, but I would recommend it for the value.

Great place to stay Great place to stay.

. Wonderful stores. Travelers tip on shopping We did most of our shopping at the Coconut Grove shopping center. Just a wonderful time. This was our first trip over to Kauai and we were impressed by the condo, shopping, touring around. Pools very nice. Loved all your chickens :) So centrally located for touring south and north. Service was very good. Wonderful place and would come again. Had ground floor apt.Very Impressed Great hotel.

. The Gaylords Luau was fantastice, pricey but well worth it. Travelers tip on saving a few bucks Definitely stop by the Walmart to save money on groceries, it makes a huge difference. The only downfall is that we stayed on the third floor and there are no elevators, but other then that we have absolutely no complaints. The staff was fantastic. We have become accustomed to staying at condo resorts and we were very pleased with our stay.Would definitely stay again We stayed at the Beachboy for 4 days of our honeymoom and I wish we would’ve booked more time here.

. Once would have been enough. We also received three or more calls from the hotel staff offering us discount packages and , of course, the time share offers. I go places to relax and not be pestered. Finally, if you put out the "Do not Disturb" sign, you get one or two phone calls each day from "Housekeeping" just to let you know they came by the door and were more than willing to come in. There was no washer/dryer in the room or building. But the hotel asks you not to dry items on the balcony yet there are no hooks or drying bars available in the room or bathroom. Great bed.Fair to Midd’lin The room was just fine.

. I would not go near that hotel ever again. The carpets were all so worn out.Ants running all over the place and the hotel was dirty It was really disgusting seeing ants running all over the place.

. Would definitely stay there again, had a great week there. Quiet place. Rooms easily accessible as there are only 3 floors in all buildings. Having a full kitchen was nice, had breakfast on out the balcony most mornings. Coconut Marketplace is right across the parking lot and has a variety of stores as well as a general store to buy gifts, food, beer/wine. It’s only about 10 minutes from the airport. The location on the eastern island makes it very convenient for day trips to Waimea, Hanalei. Very nice grounds.Kauai Coast Resort was a great place to relax Clean, affordable.

. Travelers tip on local attractions The coconut market was across the street but did not offer anything exceptional. As for staff they were the best! Awesome service and courtesy. The beach was rocky and the waves were a little big so we went to other beaches to swim in. It was clean and not crowded at all. The pool was better than nice. I think hotel occupancy was full but it did not feel like you are running into people wherever you go. Very relaxing. Lanais were overlooking the garden with the ocean on side. Will definitely go back Room was very spacious and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I ever slept in.

. And the convenience of a couple big grocery stores really helps, too. We loved it! Travelers tip on saving a few bucks Again, the full kitchen when you have kids and don’t want, or cannot afford, to eat out every meal really makes a big difference. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Doesn’t have the facilities of the big hotels, but has enough, and the savings on food alone made it worthwhile. Just a very nice place to stay, and very affordable. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept on, which means everything. Very clean, very close to the beach, and right in town. They have a full kitchen, so we just shopped up the road at Safeway and cut our food bill by two thirds, essentially. The islands are expensive, especially if you are eating out all the time, but this worked great for us with our young daughter.A Great Place To Stay With Kids, Or Not I booked this asa place to stay having read the mentions of the timeshare pitches, but besides being asked once I never heard anything about it.

. After being on the island and seeing all the other resorts, I would definitely return here in a heart beat. The staff was very helpful and genuinely friendly. The gardens were meticulously manicured and blended really well with the ocean front setting. It felt more like a luxury condo. It did not feel like a hotel at all. The environment of the hotel is really laid back.Laid Back Luxury! The rooms were very luxurious but nothing extravagant or gaudy.

it’s central location makes a great base for exploration... Also, this resort is great when you want to see multiple parts of the island.at times I felt as if the people above us were in the room...there isn’t much insulation between the floors... Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay If you can manage the stairs, an upper level room will help you avoid the noise of walking people overhead. But we all agreed that if we were to come back to Kauai it would be at this resort. Actually, we tried to get back into the Kauai Coast Resort later in the week when our North shore accomodations didn’t work out as planned but they were booked.and we went back two more times after we moved to the north side of the island.. It was the best meal we had on the island. By all means dine at their restaurant. Everything is a very short distance although there are no elevators which prevented us from taking a free upgrade to a two bedroom unit due to a disablility.no uptown airs here.. What we loved was the friendliness of the other guests. A nicely equipped kitchen allowed us to have a snack or breakfast on our own schedule. The bed was one of the most comfortable of the trip. The staff were lovely and helpful.Friendly, intimate place We stayed in a garden unit on the first floor with a lovely view of the ocean from the lanai.

. I definately would recommend anyone to stay here. The pool area was great. If you want to enjoy everything around the island the hotel location is in the middle of it all. We enjoyed the roster singing to us every day. We had a end unit by the parking lot and we could see and hear the ocean every night we slept and we had a great view of the mountains. The room was great and probably the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in.Great Hotel This was my third stay at the Beachboy, but my first since its renovation.

. We went their every day to enjoy the shopping, food and to sit and enjoy the beautiful sites. Lots of shops, food and music. Travelers tip on shopping Just across the street is the Coconut Market. The only negative thing I would say about the Resort is the push for you to buy into a time share, other than that I would give it 8 out of 10. It was the best weeks vacation we have every had.Kauai Resort Wonderful place to stay Kauai Resort grounds are so beautiful, clean rooms and the staff are so helpful, friendly.

.. Overall I would stay there (Beachboy) again in a heartbeat and give it 2 thumbs up. There also is an outside gas grill which was very useful, because most on the restaurant on the beach are priceeeeeeeey. Remember this is a timeshare property so there is a presentation that is required to get some of the discounts events on the island.BEAUTY ON THE BEACH The rooms on the property are like a 5 star resort.

. We can’t wait to go back. Excellent location to shops, resturants and activities. I liked having beach access. Very clean and well kept.We loved our stay The resort was so relaxing and comfortable.

We loved this hotel and would definitely go back tomorrow if the chance were given!. The staff were very helpful and friendly. While I was there they also upgraded all the tvs to flat screen/plasmas. The hotel upgraded me upon arrival to a one bedroom with a full kitchen which was fabulous.I love the BeachBoy This hotel is extremely convenient to everything, there is shopping right next door, Starbucks down the street, and a big 24 hour super market next to the Starbucks.

Awesome Nice people and right on the beach like it said Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay had a kitchen and the beach and a pool.

. Restaurant at the hotel was excellent as well. Excellent location next to the beach. Can’t wait to go back Hotel was beautiful.

. It’s very centrally located for the things I wanted to do. I did activities both in Poipu and Hanalei bay and all around the island and I never had to really drive more than 1/2 an hour to get anywhere. Overall, it’s a great value in a great spot. This place is nice, and even my single room had a little refrigerator and microwave, so I could prepare dinner in my room and save on the crazy Kauai dinner bills. The only things I look for are a nice safety box for valuables and constant replenishing of soap and towels.no one comes to Kauai to sit in their hotel room anyway... It’s a very reasonable hotel and I had no major complaints.a great choice This is a very nice hotel in the extremely convenient area around Kapa’a town...Nice spot, reasonably priced.
