. no restroom in the lobby area though.Great place to stay with your doggie friends!
everything is all redone and freshly painted.
. If these things dont bother you it is an acceptable place to stop. I just needed an inexpensive place to stay overnight on my way south. We got going late, so there wasnt any breakfast left. Convenient location and front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Seemed like most guests were families, saw a lot of little kids at the pool. The pool was quite dirty; I dont think the filter was working.
The beds were very comfortable and if werent for the noise from the expressway, I might have slept better...OK, but.
The continental breakfast was nice. The water was around our calves. It smelled like mold and mildew and the tub did not drain well when taking a shower.Room Clean - Bathroom Not
The room itself was nice and clean but the bathroom was another story.
. We were there for a concert at UT and when I asked the front desk how to get there, they already had mapquest directions printed and ready for me. The room was very clean and the bed was super comfy. But once I got into the room I was pleasantly surprised. When I first pulled up to this one it looked a little iffy from the outside. The first was in Atlanta and was extremely nice, the second was in Miama and it was terrible.Pretty Good!
I have to say, I have stayed at 2 different La Quintas before my stay in Knoxville.

Travelers tip on dining
There were several resturants nearby the hotel and the location of the hotel was within reasonable distance of many attractions. All in all, for the one night we stayed, we enjoyed everything the hotel had too offer. It was, on the first floor (which was nice)and had plenty of room. For some reason, we were assigned one of the handicap rooms of which neither my wife or myself are impaired.
We recently stayed at the La Quinta Inn Knoxville West and enjoyed our stay.A nice hotel in a nice area.
. Would stay again. Staff was pleasant, price was right. This seemed to be an older hotel but had all of the amenities that we needed.Pet friendly, pleasant staff
I always stay at LaQuinta Inns when traveling with my dog as they are pet friendly.
. The beds were as comfortable as the first time and the staff was extremely friendly. Their behavior wasnt anything to make you fearful, just not as relaxing. There was a rowdier bunch of people there hanging around in the parking lot and around our window/door. That is partly our own problem for not reporting them. We also had some very loud upstairs neighbors that kept us awake well into the early morning hours. This time it hadnt been aired out and the room wasnt as clean. The first time the room was very clean and had been aired out. We had smoking rooms.Mixed emotions
This was our second visit.
. It looked like there is a lot of shopping close by also.
Travelers tip on dining
There are a lot of restaurants/fast food places close by, some within walking distance. As long as it stays this nice it will be our home away from home when we visit our daughter and son-in-law. The windows did open which helped. Being smokers, we always use the fan to keep the room from getting so stale. Our only complaint is; there wasnt an exhaust fan in the bathroom. We were comfortable in the room, the beds were great and we enjoyed having a table and chairs for relaxing, drinking coffee, etc. The staff was very friendly.Comfort and Convenience
We chose this hotel based on price and proximity to our daughters home.
Had a nice stay
Hotel room was nice and clean.
and a nice room!! Overall great experience!! Thanks!!....A++++
Definitely would stay there again!! Very good customer service, very friendly staff.
Cheap & convienient
This is not a luxury hotel, never-the-less, if you are traveling, need a place to stay close to the highway with lots of places to eat and shop, this hotel is for you! It is also pet friendly!.

Both restaurants near the hotel (Cancun Mexican and Puleos Grill) were very good and not too expensive. Pet-friendly. They were re-finishing the parking lots when we were there, so that was very inconvenient.Great Hotel for the Price
The room and hotel were very nice, we especially liked the table and chairs in the room.
all in all a good stay.Good Bang for the Buck
its close to many things, they have a deal worked out with a local gym to workout at.
. We will be back next year. The one thing that would have made my stay better would have been a refrigerator in our room. The hotel has always been clean during my stay. I like the hotels location because it is near lots of stores and restaurants. I also bring my Yorkie! I love that it is a pet friendly hotel. I bring my nieces every year for the softball camp at the U of Ten.Third year in a row staying at this hotel
This was my third year staying at this LaQuinta Inn.
. On west side of city of Knoxville. Would return. Working ice machines. Highway noise was a non-factor. Lots of restaurant choices nearby. This is basically a no frills hotel that is fine for your couple of days stay. Not bad. Breakfast is your standard hotel continental fare. Good clean hotel. Hotel is really about 10 miles from the University (10 minute drive w/o traffic).Good Value
Took my son to University of Tennessee freshman orientation.
Lucky thing that it was hot, at night the loud air conditioner blocked out the freeway roar!
there are better places to stay at this price range.
. Wouldnt anyway. Daughter graduated, so we wont be returning. North side is close to freeway onramp, so if youre from the country and like quiet, get a room on the south side. Night Staff were pleasant and helpfull with noisy neighbors at 3am. We had left the room by 10:30. No maid service first day although towels were left at the door (my parents didnt get either). No back up at front desk. Had to hold it in to operate. Hair dryer ON button was broken. Easy access to area activities and UT. Decent breakfast. Pretty basic.Gone downhill in the last 4 years
This is the third time in 4 years weve stayed in this particular hotel.
.
The hotel is located just off the highway and has many stores and restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely stay again. Our room was clean and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast in the morning. We arrived around midnight and the staff on duty was very pleasant and helpful.Clean and convenient
My fiancee and I stayed the night after 12 hours on the road.
.Pets
I am very glad that they take pets.
Our rooms faced the highway but the hotel is in a hole and the noise was not very noticeable.Clean and comfortable - would stay again
Staff was friendly - rooms (we had two adjoining)were well kept and clean.
Avoid the breakfast rush!. The crowd had dissipated, but the floor was still very sticky and the counters covered with spilled waffle batter and syrup. We decided to pack first, returning for breakfast after the rush. Because of the quantity of people in such a tight space, things had been spilled on the floor (syrup, juice) and it was extremely sticky. It was in a tight hallway, which at peak time was difficult to negotiate with my infant daughter. The only negative was the arrangement of the breakfast area in the lobby. Cleanliness was top notch. The room was spacious enough for us to set up our portacrib and still have room to maneuver. This was the nicest, economical, pet-friendly lodging weve seen yet.Fantastic!
As a family with a dog who goes everywhere with us, were always on the lookout for a place thats pet friendly.

Try Saturday on the Square if its happening while you are there, its great for the whole family!. Could be a great place with a few coats of paint and a deep cleaning. It was run down, stains numerous places in the room, along with debris.5 star hotel to be.5 stars!
The hotel was not in prime condition like you would expect a 2.Not impressed, should NOT have had 2.
