. Big Whiskey for sports bar, counted 10 LCD! Best Driving Range at Golf World located in University of AR.
Travelers tip on dining
Flying catfish in Markham is awesome food. Hotel is located close to upscale downtown restaurants. Very cordial and attentative. The service was good. Free parking and subsidized Fitness facility in Metro Bank.Good Service
Nice hotel, very comfy room newly renovated.
. When I requested clean towels, I never got them. Although one day, housekeeping did not show up until 2:30pm, which was not ideal because I had a friend with her baby napping in the room.Average in Little Rock
Hotel was okay for what I needed.
Travelers tip on dining
Found a great little Italian Resturant around the corner, food was divine!. Staff accomodating, one shuttle driver was kind of rude. But did not have microwave or fridge which would have been nice. Rooms very nice. Breakfast just okay, not much selection. Free Shuttle is a real plus.Good Choice
We enjoyed our 4 day stay, location convenient.
. Also, the garage, while convenient, is a little seedy. Contrary to advertising, there is no restaurant, and it offers no hot breakfast (just the usual cereal and pastries). It was adequate but no more (and no bargain).Disappointed
From earlier reviews, Id hoped for better from this hotel.
.
Lots of amenities in room; close to downtown attractions and freeway close.Conveniently located.
. Not much but fast food in the area, but seemed safe enough. Facility has been remodeled recently, but still shows some signs of age.Excellent staff
The staff at the La Quinta were particularly gracious and pleasant, whether actually assisting me or just passing in the hallway.
. Being relatively close to the interstate was also useful because it made us 15 minutes or less away from everything we wanted to see. It was especially convenient for our New Years stay. The free parking garage was incredibly convenient in the busy downtown area, and I loved the availability of the free shuttle throughout the downtown area. The room was spacious and very clean. Since it was a lower star hotel, I wasnt expecting much, but the beds were very comfortable.Great bargain, fantastic location!
This hotel was a fabulous bargain.
.well administered, fairly priced....Very good quality 3 star
Quality of hotel and service were high 3 star.
Big bang for your buck!. When we are traveling to Little Rock, this is the only place we will stay.Great place to stay
Repeat visitors.
. MOST COMFY BED IVE EVER SLEPT IN IN A HOTEL! Highly recommended. Room was large, clean and more than comfortable. Desk staff members were fantastic. There was a mini-mart on site for snacks and microwave meals. Lobby was brand new (marble) and beautiful.Extremely nice!
Very nice hotel, excellent service, very clean! Shuttle service from airport was way above average.
.Would go back
Hotel was clean, reasonably priced and close to the downtown area.
. The room was clean, and the breakfast was good. But the desk clerk was rude every time we asked for information about Little Rock.A good downtown hotel
The hotel is right downtown, and about a 10 minute walk from attractions.
. Housekeeping failed to have soap, shampoo etc both days of our stay and no coffee cups or accessories the second day.5 star rating is about right.Needs attn to housekeeping
The 2.
. See also the Capitol, the Old Statehouse, Villa Marre, and shop and dine along the Arkansas River in the River Market area.
Travelers tip on local attractions
The Clinton Presidential Library was impressive and interesting. We highly recommend this hotel. Inside parking was complimentary, rather unusual for a hotel in a large city and the complimentary breakfast was quite good. The hotel was convenient to all of the downtown sights and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.Very nice hotel, very friendly staff
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Quinta Downtown Conference Center in Little Rock.
I. Overall, this hotel gave me a whole new impression of what La Quinta is all about. There is a great little Italian place called "Ciao" just around the corner on 7th street.I understand the breakfast was good, but I didnt make it down as I arrived late. There was free wifi. There was a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The only place that would take a walk up order was a hamburger joint called Rallys across the street. Trying to get dinner past midnight was tough. Boy was I surprised! My room has marble counters in the bathrooms, furniture and amenities was on par with Marriott! The location was good considering the area.Very nice surprise
I booked this hotel because not much else was available.
. Someone is doing something very right here!
Travelers tip for business travelers
We hit a horrible and long traffic jam about one hour outside (west) of Little Rock - next time I will look for alternate routes and check with hotel to see when their "rush hour" starts. Will stay here every time I am in Little Rock. Hotel is very convenient to the local attractions, great lit and safe parking, awesome staff at checkout and very nice breakfast (free too!). Very nice woman and gave us a great referral for dinner (The Flying Fish).Great experience
After a ten hour drive and heavy traffic, it was a great relief to walk into the hotel and be greeted with a warm smile by Nicky, the front desk clerk.
Good enough
clean and comfort with great breakfast.
. The staff was very helpful and courteous and the room was very nice and clean. I would not want to stay several days with only one room, but that was our choice for this one night stay.
Although my 2 adult daughters and I shared a room with 2 double beds, there was enough room for the 3 of us.It was an enjoyable stay.
. Overall, I say my stay was a 5 out of 10 for comfort and enjoyment. So my stay was not as restful as I had desired. The other tenants were loud and stayed up late into the night partying. Several rooms on my floor were empty and had work being done to them. The hotel well maintained, but they are currently under construction to my surprise. The room was clean. The key reason for my choosing the hotel was its location to the venue that I was working, only four blocks away.My Business Trip stay
The hotel was adequate.
. It will look nice when finished and easy access to highway.
It is a little under construction, but you can tell they are doing a good job.Being renovated, but nice staff and renovations look good.
. I definitely would stay here again in spite of the construction. Hotel provides free parking and a free breakfast. The hotel has a van service that takes you anywheate in downtown Little Rock and with just a call will pick you up again. Jackhammers were in the next room but they quit at 5:30 PM and after that the hotel is quiet.Under construction
The hotel is presently ungoing extensive renovation.
. The only issue we had is the first room they assigned us was already occupied; however, the were very expediate in fixing the problem.Better than expected
The hotel was nicer than expected.
. Convenient location, but in serious need of better upkeep. You get what you pay for
Hotel had poor parking arrangement, construction was going on inside hotel, breakfast couldnt start until 7am, unless you were an airline employee - in which case you could start at 6am, and the elevator was extremely banged up.
. Not in the best part of town, but all-in-all a good stay.Decent
Decent rates, close to Alltel.
.Not impressed at all
hotel rooms where durty, having problems opening the hotel rooms, the breakfeast that is anouncing by 8am run out of every thing.
