. Dont miss the fountains. Travelers tip on shopping The Plaza shopping district is absolutely wonderful. The walls must be made of rice paper. Not impressed at all The Marriott in downtown Kansas City has to be the obsolute noisiest hotel in America.

. Across the street from Memorial Coliseum and KC Convention Center. 30 minutes from KC Speedway, 15 minutes from Country Club Plaza shopping district. New Sprint Center as well as the College Basketball Experience is adjacent to the P&L District. Travelers tip on local attractions 4 blocks from the newly developed Power & Light district in DT KC. If that’s full there is a $5/day public parking area on the back side of the hotel. Can’t park in building parking with SUV (6ft clearance) but there is public parking that Marriot validates under the plaza across the street from the hotel. Parking a little tough. Very easy to find. but probably not the same weekend as a National Cheerleading competition...Great Downtown location Would definitely stay here again.

. I only wished that there was a shopping center or mall a little closer to the hotel. The Marriott is located only six blocks away from the center, which was very convenient since we did not rent a car. My son and I flew in for the weekend to attend a concert at the Sprint Center. I also found the business center very useful, because I was able to print our boarding passes and make any necessary changes prior to arriving at the airport. I have always been very pleased with my stay at the Marriott. I found the staff (front desk, room service, maid service, maintenance and including the restaurant staff) to be very accommodating, courteous, and professional.Always happy to return to the Marriott I found our stay to be very enjoyable.

. Concierge was really a pamphlet desk. Only one window ope ewith about 6 sets of guests in line. Understaffed at check-in.Nice Hotel, Good Location Noisy with convention guests.

. Breakfast buffet was excellent; lots of fresh fruit and variety of items available. Travelers tip on dining Lilly’s was good. Near I 70. Close to WWI museum and Convention Center. Decorated well. Older hotel with additional rooms across the street. Recommend to others Nice hotel.Would return.

. Check to make sure everything works and you have all necessary items in your room as soon as you check in, and don’t go to Lilly’s if it’s close to closing time. That too seems like we were asking too much. As it was, we asked that our order be packaged to take to our room. If we had it to do over, we would have gotten up and left. We went to Lilly’s restaurant after the show at the Sprint center, and altho the hostess seated us, we soon realized that it was very near to closing time, as we were treated quite disrespectfully by the wait staff. The phones in our room didn’t work, we had no wash clothes, there was no ice in the vendor area on our floor.Disappointed Altho the beds were extremely comfortable and the hotel is within walking distance of the Sprint center, I was very disappointed in our experience here, considering what we paid.

. The beds were extemely comfortable and the tea/coffee choice was amazing. Although I could tell the room had been cleaned, I saw a dark stain which could have been blood/coffee on a chair.Kansas City The atmosphere was pleasant and the service friendly.

. Within walking distance. Travelers tip on local attractions Very good hotel to stay in if going to an event at the Sprint Center.Very nice KC Hotel It was clean, with good service and within walking distance of the Sprint Center.

.Would stay again! Great room and service! Hard to park though.

we didn’t stay but one night, but it was certainly enjoyable Travelers tip on recreational activities you can just walk to sprint center from this hotel... we loved the hotel the beds were awesome the room service was fast....Great.

. It was full of cars of non-guests. The weather was bad and it sure would have been nice to park in that garage we paid for. If there were any complaints to be made, it would be about the parking. The hotel stay was great.Very enjoyable and easily accessible.

.Nice stay Well located, great, updated rooms Travelers tip on local attractions 4 blocks from the Sprint Center--location is centralized to several events centers(Lyric Opera, convention center is across the street).

. I will say the rooms near the elevators in this hotel are VERY noisy, let alone the guest traffic.Bad room was my fault I was in a room next to the elevators, but I was late and didn’t have time to request a better room.

as is Jack Stacks Restaurant...Very Nice Great Trip Travelers tip on local attractions Central mall area is a must.

. And parking is expensive ($13/day or $15/day for valet) compared to other nearby hotels. Had to drive 10+ minutes to find something to eat Saturday morning. The restaurant Lily (in the lobby) was excellent! The only drawback is that it is downtown and there was NOTHING open on the weekend.Great hotel Very comfortable and clean.

Top notch!. From the staff to the facilities.Extremely comfortable bed! Will be going back for next trip.

. With the whole family there for a wedding, it was a great central location for everyone.Great place to stay The newly renovated rooms were great.
