Reviews

. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go back I loved my hotel room, it was very comfortable and relaxing.

Would stay again!.Best Hotel in Kihei ! Great hotel!!! Very friendly service.

.... Close to most things and not too ritzy. Travelers tip Kihei area is very nice. Room doors are so full of gaps that sound and light come through. Maids would try and enter your room/knock on your door or phone your room - even when the do not disturb sign was out. Bathroom was way too small for comfort. Room was not as cleaned as it should have been when checking in. Multiple elevators were not working for the entire 2 week stay. Not impressed.

. The views are breathtaking. The scenery changes from one place to the other. Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay Rent a car and tour the entire island. We would love to go back. The gift shop was wonderful and the prices were very reasonable. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful.Ideal location We were right across the street from the beach and there were shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Travelers tip on local attractions Molokini crater snorkling, Haleakala volcano. We were very satisfied with this hotel. Rooms very clean and nice renovate. Staff of hotel very freindly. I can recommended. 20 minutes from airport. Good access for trips to all places on the islands. One of most nice beach on Maui Kamaole, 5 minutes walk from the hotel, across the street. Shops, restaurants etc. Outside from big resorts in nice Kihei village, where is all what you need. Can’t wait to go back :o) Very good hotel on Maui.

. The check in person I incounter need manners training,I ask about room internet service,he act like I just fall off the watermelon truck, the hotel has no room wireless internet service you have to pay be credit card to get services pain in the butt.Ok, but nothing to write home about.

. The Hilo Haties store also is a cheaper place for souveniers than the ABC stores. Travelers tip on saving a few bucks Go to the Safeway in Kihei (mid-town, away from the coastal road) to buy groceries at a reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again. And fresh beach towells were always available at the front desk. Each night they had live music at the pool/bar. Our room had a microwave and refridgerator so we were able to save money by buying breakfast supplies and heating up left-overs for lunch. Just a short walk brought you to a beach that was perfect for my two-year old to play in the surf. It was very clean, the front desk clerks were super friendly, and the location was awesome.Great Place to Stay! The Maui Coast Hotel was a great place to stay.

. Its location right across the street from Kam II is hard to beat as well. Travelers tip on dining Fred’s Mexican Cafe, a couple of blocks south from the hotel, has great food at reasonable prices. If it’s prices remain competitive with other hotels of its class we’ll be sure to visit again. Quite frankly, there isn’t anything that I disliked about my stay at the Maui Coast. My wife and I went there a few times to use the nice beach. Another plus to the hotel was its location right across the street from Kam I park. The employees at the hotel were very nice and helpful, always on time with good suggestions and prompt service. The foyer/reception area is nicely laid out and spacious and the pool was quite nice as well. The hotel looks and feels brand new. Needless to say, we were not disappointed. While there we stayed at the Maui Coast Hotel because we like the Kihei area and the hotel looked to be a great value based on what we read in the reviews.Great Value and Location My wife and I recently returned from a week long trip to Maui.

.Dining places, and activities. Lots of shopping area. The beach across the street, clean.Lots of shopping, and dining place close of the hotel. Can’t wait to go back Clean nice hotel, very friendly management.

but overall it was a lovely experience!!.. didnt use the gym or pool or any other facilities... right in the heart of town!! Close to lots of activities!!! The room was very clean and very nice!! Would recommend this to all ...Excellent place!!! One of the best places to stay .

. The hotel was amazing! The only negative was Spices Restaurant- not that great, but it didn’t matter because the hotel is close to many good restaurants. We spent our honeymoon there.LOVED IT ! ! ! Can’t wait to go back.

. Travelers tip on dining There is a very good pizza place down the street called Pizza Madness. The hotel store had some cute stuff and I purchased a great hat. However, the hotel was very clean and decorated very nice. It was disapointing. I knew the beach was across the street, but I thought we would still be able to see it and hear it. After our 1 week at the time share we stayed 2 days at the Maui Coast Hotel. Luxury 5 star hotel. During our visit to Maui, first we stayed 1 week at a Marriott time share that was on the beach with spectacular ocean views. I say this because there is no view of the ocean. No Ocean View Great Hotel if you are not a first time visitor to Hawaii.

. Not a 5-star resort, but a nice spot to relax and enjoy Maui ambience. Location is very convenient to Kihei beaches and variety of restaurants.Great Place at Great Price! Room was updated and bed was extremely comfortable.

. The staff was friendly and helpful and always quickly available. We swim in the ocean a couple of times - very nice.Quality Hotel, Good Location, Reasonable Price We had a good stay.

. I’m surprise this hotel was rated close to a 4 star! Very pleasant for our sudden diversion to Maui from Oahu.the pool area was also very nice... The open setting of the lobby made you feel like you were in Paradise. The hallways were humid and hot due to conservation of electricity no A/C but the rooms were nice and cool.SURPRISINGLY great for a 3 Star Rating in Hawaii !! The hotel was very nice and service was great.

Great hotel good location for touring the island.

. All in all, this hotel is worth the money. Being that the adjoining restaurant, Spices, is the provider of room service, it is best to avoid room service or dining there all together. Even though the hotel offers room service, it was not that good. I loved waking up in the mornings to the sounds of tropical birds (yes, you can leave the door open to your lanai and just use the ceiling fan at night!!!). The staff were wonderful. The hotel itself was nice. It is a stone’s throw from Kama’ole I Beach Park in Kihei.Maui Coast - A Pleasant Place to stay The Maui Coast Hotel was a pleasant surprise.

.Would recommend to others! This hotel is not on the beach, but the quality, service and cleanliness more than makes up for it! The pool area was lovely! We arrived earlier than our check in time, and the front desk staff graciously upgraded our room to one that was ready.

. We will definitely return on our next trip. We enjoyed the evening entertainment by the pool. They upgraded our room and even gave us a breakfast voucher. We will visit again! There was a mix up when we arrived with our reservation but the staff was wonderful and very accommodating.

. I recommend "Stella Blues" for eats. Food is average. Service is slow and borders on rude. Travelers tip on dining The hotel’s restaurant "Spices" is not a pleasant place. Rooms are recently renovated and very nice.I’ll stay again A good value for the money.

Very convienent for one night stays good value for your buck Travelers tip on saving a few bucks off season; good deal.

. Great food, reasonable prices and good service. I would suggest eating at Cafe Ole which is a block south of the hotel. I ate there for breakfast and there were ants and flies everywhere. The food was gross and overpriced and the service was terrible. Travelers tip on dining Do not eat at Spices. I am looking forward to staying at this hotel when I return to Maui. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The lobby, the pool, the landscaping were modern décor. The remodel is nice.Very Impressed I have to admit that I was skeptical about staying at this hotel given the 3 1/2 star rating but I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived.

. The hotel is on the kihei Rd, so we easily go beach, restraunt, supermarket, etc. We are especially satisfied with its location. We love bathing and the room has big bath-tub, which was really nice. This hotel is nothing special, but we could not find any negative points.Clean room, convenient location, relaxing atmosphere We stayedn in a ground floor twin room for only one night.

. 1 hour drive.Great stay at Maui Maui Coast Hotel is very good, friendly personel, good service and good located in the middle of the island away from the concentration of tourists Travelers tip on recreational activities As it is in Kihei travelling around is easy to do as most of the attractions are max.

Travelers tip on local attractions Kihei Cafe for breakfast is a MUST!.Maui Coast Very clean hotel, awesome rooms that felt very luxurious.
