.beautiful... There is a ton to do and its right on the water. Travelers tip on recreational activities Visit the Short Sands Beach Area. I have already recommended Microtel to my friends. I’m from Boston and the room I stayed in could have easily been rented out in Boston for $400 a night. She helped us plan our entire day. The person behind the desk was also great. It was clean, the rooms were huge and the beds were comfy.Microtel Review The Microtel in York, Maine was wonderful.



. The rooms were comfortable with pleny of room for 4 people. So, the breakfast allowed us to meet that goal. (We were trying to save money). It also provided a very satisfying continental breakfast. Our motel was only 5 minutes from the shore and fine dining along the ocean.Very satisfied.



. Drug store and an excellent coffee place called Mainiax are in the same complex as the hotel. Travelers tip on shopping Vast array of outlet malls are a short drive away. There was a padded window seat by the window! Only complaint, all the lighting was flourescent or recessed - hard to read after dark. Our room had bar stools and a countertop with a divider between the beds. The rooms are painted in soothing colors and have modern furniture.Very nice hotel The hotel was new in May, 2008 and still looks fresh and clean.



. We didn’t inform the front desk; didn’t feel that there would be much that could be done. Our only complaint was a VERY noisy family on our floor running up & down the hall, and slamming doors.Comfortable and convenient The hotel was clean and comfortable; the complimentary breakfast was well-stocked and had plenty of seating.

. Small and manageable, and perfect for kids 3-10. The York Zoo and Amusement park is a fun distraction. Easy on-site restaurant for basic fare. A small indoor pool was perfect for entertaining the kids when the weather was rainy. Nothing fancy, but good value and friendly and clean.Hotel Stay for the Zoo This is a nice, clean, central hotel very convenient to the York Zoo, amusement park, and beaches.



great place to stay. great little grill right next door to the hotel. less than 10 min to the outlets. it was pleasantly clean.Great hotel for the price the hotel was a brand new hotel or newly renovated.
