Reviews

. Wonderful wiew from our balcony. We really enjoyed our time there. It was great being off the strip. Pool was lovely. But with a little attention to these kinds of details, place was beautiful. Gave up and went out to eat. Called front desk, waited over an hour, called again, sent menu, but was the same wrong one. Called for room service for dinner, we had the wrong menu. Called twice - never fixed. Tub did not drain properly. Bedding did not fit (no fitted sheets) until last night of stay. Called again, curtain was washed (but still looked dirty). Had some problems with hotel staff: dirty shower curtain, called front desk - the liner was replaced but dirty outside curtain left in place.Beautiful place - needs attention by hotel staff Place was beautiful.

. If you want a really nice place to stay and relax this is it. Load of great places to eat and shop. This place has a lot of potential when the economy come back around.Very nice get away from the crowd Very beautiful resort, relaxing get away from the crowds of the strip.

. Will definetly go back again. Its a nice place to get away from the hectic Vegas Strip.Impressive Very relaxing, well mantained and exceptionaly clean.

. nothing negative to say at all.Great getaway good escape.

. Try the message in a bottle to win points. Travelers tip on local attractions Gondola ride on Lake Las Vegas was a hit with my wife. Limited restaurant access in the hotel, no poolside service and not the desired location meant this was not for us. The rooms were nice and maintenance repaired the air conditioner very quickly upon notice. We expected amenities and it turned out there was no pool side service, bell hops, etc. We thought this hotel was in the village and it turned out we were housed across the lake.Be sure you are getting what you want.

. Next time we will ask for 4th floor or lower. **Won’t recommend 5th floor due to the balcony has a cement wall and when you sit down on the patio chairs you cannot see the beautiful lake & view. Rent a boat on the lake! Travelers tip Upon check in we were upgraded to the top floor over looking the lake. All in All, this place is a great place to stay, especially for families. We didn’t hit it big at the casino, but did get little jackpots to keep us going. There are several restaurants to choose from and lots of cute shops to shop at. Friday & Saturday night free concerts on the lawn, great music to enjoy. Our condo was lacking glasses for some reason, we made 1 phone call and within 5 minutes we were fully stocked. It may be 30 minutes from the strip but it is WELL worth it.Awesome Place We spent 3 nights here and everynight there was something to do.

Travelers tip on saving a few bucks look for weekend specials. Stuff was great and I would recommend this hotel anyway.g to Las Vegas. If you don’t have a vehicle it would be difficult and expensive to get e. Rooms were spacious But the hotel is distant from everything. Great hotel for the money...Nice place.

. The hotel is on Lake Las Vegas, a small man-made lake with only electric motors. Travelers tip on recreational activities we were able to relax at the pool, visit lake Mead and the Hoover Dam. The Hotel gave us a chance to relax away from all the lights and sounds of the city.Great getaway We especially enjoyed being able to get away from the crowds and the business of Las Vegas.

Well worth it!. Can’t wait to go back! Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay I paid for the cheaper room on Expedia, but I tipped the receptionist and she upgraded us to a terrific lake-view room. The Lake Las Vegas resort area was really awesome! It was our first time there and we enjoyed the live music in the evenings, great food, and beautiful views from our hotel balcony. We brought our kids and it was nice to have the separate bedroom so we could sleep in. The room was very comfortable and had a nice kitchenette area and a large bathroom. It’s really a lot closer to Mead than I thought it would be and still close enough to Vegas to enjoy a night on the town there as well. We had a fantastic time! This is definitely the place to stay if you plan on visiting Lake Mead.Terrific place, very reasonable rates We stayed in the lower priced "Luna" part of the hotel in a one bedroom suite.

great for families and pets.Nevadas best place to relax this place is the best there is.

you can stock up at the store, or order from ANY of the on-site restaurants to eat in your room. It was laid back, the pool was open 24 hours a day, we took out a pontoon on the lake, visited the onsite casino, went to the restaurants on the property, and relaxed with our golf course, lakefront view! It was absolutely wonderful, and beautiful-we will go back once a year Travelers tip this resort has room service, which is very reasonably priced but in the "village" there is a convienient store that has everything that you would need for dining in your room-from wine to sandwhich stuff and soups. it had everything we were looking for.So close to the strip, but so far away My new husband and I went there for our honeymoon! We were married on the strip, and went there to unwind and relax.

Cant wait to go back The property was extremely clean!.

. spot in front of the hotel because the garages were full. One night we had to park in a 15 min. My only quibble was that their garage space is inadequate when the hotel is near capacity. The setting couldn’t have been more beautiful. Our room was spacious and comfortable.Lovely hotel The hotel was well maintained.

...Good Value Affordable option for those looking for a hotel in Lake Las Vegas.

. Cost of food is reasonable and the eateries are great. Kudos to the resort!! Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay Your get a good rate, can walk to shopping and dining. We will be back again in the future with out a doubt. We had the view and good balcony. One of our requirements when staying anywhere is a good view, a private patio or balcony. The rates were less than the other resorts in the area. The location made it possible to park the car for three days and never get back into it. The hotel staff assisted us whenever we needed anything. The young lady who checked us in was very cordial and was of great assistance during our stay. We found the location fit our requirements and went well above out expectations.Impressed We were celebrating our 38th wedding anniversary.

. I enjoy golfing and there are good courses in the area.Machines are tighter than the strip but if you are not looking to gamble then this moght be right for you.Nice place of the strip Enjoy getting to vegas without going to the strip.

Nice place to stay quite nice hotel a place to stay.

.It was more than we expected! The only thing that we could have asked for, was more time to spend at the resort.

Great room and view We enjoyed our stay and close tomany things.

. It’s a bit more but definitely worth the beautiful view. Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay Make sure you get a room with a view of the resort and lake. The only regret I have is that I should have paid a bit extra for a room with a view - we had a view of the parking lot, but the quality of the room and the resort setting more than made up for that. The kitchen was wonderful and the furniture was comfortable. The room, "Viera" was lovely and warm. We got that at this hotel. We were on our wedding anniversary and wanted to stay somewhere that was romantic, quiet, with a beautiful location. My wife and I had a very relaxing time.Beautiful location, friendly staff, will definitely come back.

. We will be back most definitely. I love the jazz concerts and having Monte Lago Village so close to brouse and go out at night. We are over staying on the strip and like a quiet resort area.I LOVE Lake Las Vegas To sum it up I would have to say Lake Las Vegas is one of our best experiences in Las Vegas.

. The resort does not give any information upon checking in only what you ask about. Travelers tip Call the resort prior to booking to see actually what is available for the time you are going. My booking thru Expedia was great. Prior to booking call to see what is actually available then book thru Expedia. Some of the things that are listed for the resort or not available. This meant that anyone could come into the building and then into the lock parking garage or pool area. That door did not lock and I called everyday requesting it be repaired but it was never fixed. The condo we had was across the lake from main check-in and you used your room key to access our building. I called for maintenace due to dead bolt to room not working and smell in room at certain times. I was advised that I could not be moved. It was not a lake view room due to all the trees and shrubs. I upgraded my room to a lake view room.I will return now that I have more information about how things work.

Can’t wait to go back!! Montelago was everything I hoped it would be! Away from the strip, in the middle of the Desert, landscaped and lush!! Pools was a daily routine and location was fantastic and an easy drive into Las Vegas! Staff where fantastic and helpful!! Will diffently go back!! Travelers tip on recreational activities Go MTB in Blue Diamond valley, great little store to hire bikes!! Heaps of day trips or hour rides!! amazing!! Kayak the Colorado river amazing 11miles though tough at end of trip if there is a breeze!! But highly worth it!!.

. Travelers tip on recreational activities Great close proximity to Lake Mead. The shower head in the new room didn’t work as well but overall we were satisfied. We had to move rooms because the airconditioning broke but the Monte Lago made that happen very quickly.Great place to take the family! The hotel and rooms are very clean and the staff is incredibly friendly.

. The staff was very helpful. We rented a paddle boat on the lake, but learned pretty fast that it was just way too hot for a paddle boat. We felt like it was our own private pool as only a couple of people used it during our stay. The pool was awesome.Loved Lake Las Vegas The hotel was very nice and clean.
