.Excellent hotel staff were great, the beds were soft and the room was very clean.

You could actually live in the room if you had to! We will definitely use this motel again!. Also, coffeemaker, bar sink, and small refrigerator. The suite was separated by a half-wall behind which was a "living room" area with full sofa, coffee table, & desk with Internet access & phone.Will use them again!! The Phoenix Inn & Suites in Albany was great! Great access to the freeway, very, very close to our destination but you did not hear any traffic noise at all! The rooms are huge! Bed was very comfy.

. The room was comfortable and the staff was very friendly. I stayed there 4 days in August 2009. I would recommend it to other people. It is a decent value.Nice Hotel - next to I-5, easy to access other places The hotel has a good location, next to I-5.

In this particular visit, the price was reduced for summer travel, and competed with the lowliest accommodations in town! Wow!!.Beats the Competition! It’s refreshing to visit a hotel that is genuinely interested in making your stay comfortable and convenient.

(The only little disappointment was, we had an emergency come up and had to leave a day early and the assistant manager at the front desk did not want to refund that night stay, even having expedia on the line giving us the refund only if the Manager at the hotel would approve it? So, that’s the only flaw, The hotel Manager as well as the assistant manager should realize that when there is an emergency, they should be a little more considerate. The room was very spacious, and comfortable. The front desk was also curtious and friendly. The empolyees were always very helpful, and wanting to please us.I would difinitely go back, if We return to Oregon The hotel was very clean and the lobby was very elegant and cozy.

. I would absolutely stay here again. The facilities (pool, spa, excercise room, etc) were excellent and the breakfast was above average. Except for the unsightly "Adult Shop" right next door, the hotel was beautiful and clean.Very nice.

. My hotel was nice, clean and with good bed, but ultimately not worth the premium price. I happened to go to a colleague’s hotel in town for their breakfast and it was better; with eggs, sausage and bacon, and he paid less for his room. Also, the highly touted breakfast was no big deal. This was annoying. I would have to get up and turn it back on. The AC kept shutting off, even on max. It took until well into the evening until the room cooled with the AC on max. Also, it was in the 90s when I checked in, and the room was hot when I entered. The TV left much to be desired. Nicely appointed and good bed.Above average, but not by much Nice hotel.

. Travelers tip on dining Find the local Hungarian restaurant - ask around, it is definitely worth it. Good value and a nice touch to have coffee available throughout the day, not just at breakfast.No surprises Don’t let the proximity to the freeway or the nearby adult store phase you, the hotel was clean and quiet - ideal for business travel with a large room and desk, as well as a couple of meeting rooms.

Also, Abby’s pizza down the road, is delicious!. They have a sports bar inside, but we never ventured over there. Travelers tip on dining There isn’t a restaurant onsite, but Denny’s is located across the street and delivers, I believe it is open 24 hours. Not the best view, but it didn’t bother us at all. In the parking lot of the hotel there is a big 24 hour Adult Shop. One negative thing. The Phoenix Inn is reasonably priced, and you get a lot of room for your money. The staff was pleasant and kept the food coming. so delicious! Then they had 2-3 different kinds of juices to choose from and coffee and tea... Biscuits and gravy very delicious! Then tortillas and scrambled eggs and picante sauce! We made our own little breakfast tacos! Also, there was a waffle maker!! Sugar free and regular syrups, powder sugar, cinnamon. Then there’s the good stuff. Fresh fruit and canned peaches and pears. Muffins and pastries. Now let’s talk continental breakfast! The breakfast was fabulous! There was the assortment of breads for toast. This was fabulous! Then there was a sitting area next to that. On the other side of the bed there was a half wall and that held a sink, microwave, mini fridge, and counter. The bed was very comfy and I liked the comfy bedding. I like having the vanity outside of the restroom because when two people are trying to shower and get ready there’s plenty of room and no sharing of the restroom is needed. The room itself was very spacious. Which I didn’t mind since I’m allergic to smoke. We stayed in a King non-smoking room, they had us sign a form stating we would not smoke in the room. Very nice atmosphere.Albany Phoenix Inn The lobby is nice decorated in modern furniture and Ansel Adams pictures.
