.Excellent stay
from check in to check out i was pleased and encountered the best atmosphere imagineable.
. A hugh WalMart Superstore just down the street for any shopping needs, and the hotel was clean, quiet, accommodating.
Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay
Great New ORelans-styled restaurants close by, with reasonable prices. Several good restaurants along the hotel strip, and convenient WalMart store for un-packed products 3 blks away. Close to the interstate for car travel into the city (20 minutes), and found the comforts of the hotel itself - quite accommodating.Cant wait to go back to this hotel
Wonderful stay! Sleep-comfort bed, quality room, with very efficient services provided.
Travelers tip on saving a few bucks
Great specials. Only concern was traffic in the area and fact that the parking lot felt isolated from the public view. Nice facility.Great deal for the price
The hotel itself was very nice especially at the price.
Excellent
Hotel is convenient and easy to find
Travelers tip on shopping
come and see to believe it.
.Great Place
Hotel was great, convient to the airport, friendly staff.
Not a good experience
bad experience.
.when going out, bring bottled water or youll be forced to pay dollars for a bottle of water when youre out and about because you will end up needing it if out too long...
Travelers tip on local attractions
very humid .Dial up bed was a plus so at least sleep was comfortable even though our choice of cover was limited to sheet or comforter since no blankets on bed...shadowed our trip to New Orleans because at the end of a long day, could not look forward to return to a relaxing room...very unfortunate and disappointing stay....room was not as appeared on posted picture for room.... No blankets on bed. Last day we got no room service at all so we had to wash out paper cups to reuse for coffee (which we had to buy ourselves because maid failed to leave caffeinated coffee bags). Front desk staff grim and strongly lacking in good PR. Only one day out 4 night stay was successful in getting a towel for each of us. 3 adults had reservations but daily I had to beg for more than the 2 bath towels left in our room.reeked of poor management...Does Not Recommend
Poorly ran hotel.
Love IT
Loved hotel.
. The bed was comfortable. no restaurant on site but there were enough in close vacinity.Close to New Orleans Airport reasonable rates
Staff was nice.
.Do not stay here if customer service and comfort are important to you.... And as if her rudeness were not enough, when I received the second mystery coupon, Ellien, another rude front desk attendant told me to read the coupon and I could figure it out! The sheets didnt fit the bed, you will never find your sleep number, and the towels were very cheap. The front desk attendant, Raina was extremely rude! She told me to go down to the restaurant and they would figure it out. That was not the major issue.Horrible customer service
Hotel Review: The customer service at this hotel was horrible!I called the front desk to gain information about a free breakfast coupon that was given to me by the hotel and no one seemed to know how it was to be used.
There is so much to see - it is an explosion to your senses!. Plan on breakfast right there and plan to walk a lot - visit the shops, the French Market and keep your eyes and ears open because you will find music everywhere.
Since you will have a taxi fair into the French Quarter, why no make it a day. The cab driver they chose was also helpful as to where to go once dropped off. The staff was very friendly and had good info as to where we could walk for breakfast, best way to get to the French Quarter.
We were pleasantly shocked how fast the shuttle arrived at the airport to pick us up.So close to the Airport but not to far from the center of New Orleans.
. It was our wedding night.Wedding night hotel
Hotel was great.
Stay was moderate
we ask for non-smoking and we were put in a smoking room that had cigarette butts in the coffee maker.
. The room looked clean, but there were roaches. There was no bell hop to assist with my bags upon arrival, no available carts and an indifferent desk attendant. Not Impressed
I expected more from a Radisson.
. Easy in, easy out - and attractively priced at what you typically see at an airport location.
Travelers tip for business travelers
Youll love the airport location. Schedule your flight accordingly. Had to take a cab which was - yikes - $16 for a two mile trip. With all of the issues from the previous night I knew I wanted to get there early. Only down side, the shuttle does not begin operating in the morning until 5am and my flight was at 6am. Overall, an excellent location. The staff was pleasant but a bit stiff - perhaps dealing with an overwhelming evening of cancelled flights and a flood of customers.), very work friendly (wireless access with huge desk), clean (spotless actually), and comfortable (I dont really get the Sleep Number bed - but thats my ignorance - Im sure for frequent Radisson guests or for those who own them they work just fine). The room was cozy (chair with ottoman, microfridge, microwave, etc. The shuttle was there in an instant. I was booked at the Radisson and I quickly felt the anxiety and frustration that filled the airport that night melt away.Stranded in New Orleans, this was a great escape from airport chaos
Was not planning on staying the night in New Orleans but was stuck there due to flight being cancelled with all of the winter storms in the Northeast.

Travelers tip on dining
Just know that theres no room service after 10 PM so if youre hungry grab something at the airport before you get to the hotel. The bed was a sleep by number, and very comfortable. I was able to get a sandwich, and the service was good on that count. I heard his announcement from the lobby when I was trying to check in, and I was looking forward to some food when I got there. The shuttle service to and from the airport was excellent!
I got in to the hotel late, tho, and the only food available at the hotel was at the bar, and the bartender announced he would only be taking orders for 3 more minutes.
. Its a Radisson so it was still better than most but this one is definitely not one of the better ones.Lower End of the Spectrum
Hotel really wasnt that great, desk lamp had a short in it, hotel was noisy.
.Beds too hard
Did not like the beds.
Well pleased
Staff was very pleasant Restaurant was very good.
. An option is to take the hotel shuttle over to the airport to catch a cab.
Travelers tip
A traveler needs to order a cab at least 20 minutes before you want to go downtown. When we inquired we were told that it doesnt really reach to that end of the hotel. Although the hotel advertises wireless in all rooms, it was not available in our room. The room needed a thorough cleaning--I think due to the extremely busy period we were there the ball had been dropped a bit. They had a very fine woman shuttle driver who was very accommodating.
Our room was comfortable and services were fine.Nice people, but some improvements needed.
. I was disappointed in my accomodations here. Not Impressed
I stayed at another hotel, that has a better name; better service and comfort than I stayed at this hotel.
. Clean and comfortable.Comfortable
Good location when visiting airport area.
. Give yourself plenty of time if on a time schedule.
Travelers tip
The traffic around the hotel is a bit crazy. There is a very nice swimming pool. The beds however where the most comfortable I have slept in while staying at a hotel. The room could have been a bit cleaner. We asked for extra towels each day as there were 3 of us staying in the room but never receive them.Nice beds
This was the first time in the New Orleans area so went with a hotel chain we were familar with in choosing this hotel.
. Nice room, but poor service is enough to keep me away. 2 1/2 stars max. Loud rap music at the pool. Nice service. One of the washcloths had fallen in the toilet all nice and folded. Good. When we got back from an actual restaurant, the towels were there. Asked clerk, and was told that we would have to go in the bar and the bartender could get us some food. Hours posted for Sat night were 5-10pm. Doors open, some lights on, but not a soul. 8pm, and no one there. Reported to the desk and went back to the restaurant for dinner. Went to check out room, and there were no bath towels in the bathroom. Anybody could have used my last name as reservation and been given a key. I was never asked for ID or credit card.Too many stars for this place
When we arrived, overworked clerk was fetching towels for other pool guests, more than one time.
.Very Impressed!
I highly recommend this hotel to other travelers.
