    Not impressed

Hotel was so-so. The room was clean and spacious. The restroom however is rather old, needs remodelling. Breakfast: cereal, bagels, muffins, milk and cofee; do not drink a fruit punch: it is just colored water. Overall it is a cheap average hotel to spend couple nights while exploring San Francisco and surroundings.

Excellent place to stay near San Fran

It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel and I say this after a few bad experiences at other establishments. The building was well taken care of; the rooms were clean; and the staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable of the area. Every room has wireless internet, also. Located minutes from San Francisco International, we were able to take public transportation right from the hotel to downtown SF. Would def stay here again!

Very good option near San Francisco’s airport

If you arrive by plane and your plan is to stay in a hotel because next day you will be driving south California, this hotel is the best option. Very clean and a good option for the price.

Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay

If you arrive by plane during the morning, rent a car, go to the hotel, leave your suitcases there and drive to San Francisco. Visit the Chinese area, Lombard st., Palace of the Fine Arts, take the Golden Gate, visit Sausalito, have dinner at pier 39 and go back to the hotel to rest for your next day trip to south California.

Good transient hotel for a place to sleep while waiting for flight.

I just stayed here because I had a flight the next day. Decent place, but not a vacation hotel.

    no internet

i chose this hotel because i have stayed here before and it was pleasant and convenient. But this time, there was none of the promised wi-fi access which i needed very much. I just liked that it has its own microwave oven.

Location of hotel is convenient for visits of San Francisco as distance to train station is 5 min walk. Breakfast at times is practically non existent. Front desk personnel is unfriendly and not helpful. Hotel needs dedicated management to attend to the many shortcomings of the building.

    Worst hotel stay ever

Checked in and the first room was dirty with the smell of urine, mold on the bathroom walls, bedspreads and blankets were also dirty. Was moved to another room which was better and when I arrived back that evening there was a man in my room. The man at the desk when this occurred told me it was a management problem. The following night my key to the room did not work and I had to go get it programmed again. On the last night the toilet stopped up so I could not even use the restroom.

Nice, quiet hotel at a reasonable price

Lots of restaurants, shops nearby. Bus stop next to the hotel. Good value for the money.

    Use it if you must

It is useful to speak Spanish in these parts of SF (I don’t). I had a slight communication problem with the receptionist - he refused to understand my "euro" English when I asked where I can buy a road map of California. (like: don’t ask me, we don’t have them). The breakfast was very simple(cereals, bagels, no fruits)and the most important feature in the breakfast room, where you didn’t want to spend a lot of time, was obviously the TV. The hotel has a sauna, but no info on whether the use is free for guests or not so I didn’t bother(Sauna in California? come on)

    Too much expectation dissapointed me

It just did not look exactly the same as the pictures that I saw on the internet... (What I saw was much cleaner and nicer overall but it was not at site...) Having said that, the price, services and location were good enough for me to choose this hotel. (Free WiFi, Free breakfast, and etc.)

    Good for a quick stay

The hotel is very easily accessible to and from SFO, you don’t even need to get on the freeway from the rental car garage. Rooms were clean and in good repair; front desk service was friendly and helpful even though I got there 20 minutes after the lobby closed. The only issue is the parking... if you get there too late, the only spots left in the garage will be the small ones in the corners or next to supports that are EXTREMELY difficult to get into.

    Good bargain hotel

I found this motel to be very worth the relatively low price. The bed was very firm and comfortable and the shower was excellent. Overall the room was clean and comfortable. Easy free parking available in the garage on hotel’s ground level.

Great customer service on night shift

We checked in pretty late...due to some unexpected events and night clerk was very helpful and understanding of our situation. Room was less than spectacular as water was leaking from the ceiling sprinkler in the bathroom and the handle of the shower control broke off. But the service made up for it. Super close to the airport.

    Fine for us!

Overall I felt this hotel was good; the room was comfortable and quiet. The hotel needs some upkeep work; dead plants and open areas of dirt in the planter on the second floor are not appealing! THe continental breakfast is limited. Too bad they don’t have fruit. It’s a decent value for the money. I’d consider going back.

    Falling Apart

One good thing about this hotel is that the people at the desk are friendly, courteous and helpful. A second positive is that it is close to the airport. However, it has no courtesy van. Given how awful San Francisco traffic is, many teavellers do without a rental car and use mass transit or cabs. If so, factor the cabfare into the cost of this motel. The place is falling apart. The furniture in the room was torn and frayed. The sauna was broken and so were all the vending machines. The bath mat was a dingy gray, with blue stains. The bed was lumpy, and the bedding was coarse. At least the hot tub worked, but given how run down everything else was, I didn’t trust it to be clean. Sad, because this could be a nice place if well kept up.

    Travelers tip

If you don’t have transportation to the airport, ask the desk clerk to arrange it for you ahead of time.

    Needs some TLC

Was once cute, however, it is now showing alot of wear and tear. The carpet in my room had several dark set in stains and the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was good but is in desperate need of a refurbishing. I would look elsewhere for my next trip....

    passable

Hotel is clean and neat, bed comfy. The free wireless internet did not work on second nite of my stay and front desk had nobody avail to reset their wireless network, so that was frustrating. The free breakfast does not start until 7am - too late for me as a businessman who needs to get going to early meetings. No nearby breakfast places.

A Good Hotel In This Area

We have stayed at sveeral hotels in this area and found this to eb the best so far. It was quiet, most importantly because the planes seem to take off a bit more in the other direction. the room was clean the bed was a king and comfortable. They had a little breakfast area which was ok, cereal, coffee, muffins, tiny bagels and croissants. We had a nice stay and the parking seemed secure as well it is under the hotel and there are camera so it feels like your car is less vulnerable then in an open lot.

    Travelers tip on dining

There is great thai resturant over on grand avenue downtown south san francisco.

Lovely hotel with easy acess to San Francisco

This hotel is very nice in general . The room was very comfortable with a refridgerator , microwave , ironing board , iron , and hairdryer. The bed is very comfortable and the lighting in the room was great . The service was very nice and helpful . The continental breakfast was a lot nicer than some and has a good variety of pastries and cereal . One of the nicest thing about this hotel is where it is located . There are many restaurants nearby and it’s 5 minutes from south San Francisco and 15 min from Fisherman’s Wharf . The other great thing is that this hotel is soooo close to airport , it’s a time saver and nice location to catch your flights . When I go back to CA I would definitely stay here again . I really liked this hotel very much.

Travelers tip on saving a few bucks

If you stay in this hotel take advantage of the continental breakfast to save the morning expense. I also recomend buying lunch in San bruno to save your bulk of money for a San Francisco dinner . Also you can get picked up at this hotel for various sightseeing tours so you will ebd up saving taxi faire as well .
