. Not a lot of nearby restaurants were open when we arrived though (just past 9 PM).Clean & comfortable Clean & comfortable, friendly staff, all you really need after a 500 mile drive and an early start in the morning.

. Also, it’s right down the street from a Safeway that has a great salad bar/deli/coffee shop. Very nice for a person almost 6 feet tall. The bed was very comfortable, everything worked in the room, and best of all, the shower head was about 6 1/2 feet high.Nice stay I stayed 2 nights at the Red Lion, and had no complaints.

. I would consider this 2 1/2 stars.Fine for business Nothing fancy or new but clean and was able to get a pretty reasonable rate.

Thank you. The Qualiy of the Hotel in Missoula vary good.Cant wait to go back to Missoula .

. I would definitely stay at the Red Lion should business take me there again.Good service I was impressed by the helpfulness and professional attitude of the hotel staff.

. Travelers tip on saving a few bucks The cost of this hotel was very reasonable. I missed having a bathtub, but we would definitely stay again.Older, But Well-Located We enjoyed the beds, the breakfast, and the location close to downtown Missoula.

. Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay The pool was a plus and will be enjoyed by the whole family. Good place to stay when visiting Missoula and inexpensive. We enjoyed the pool and loacation was easily accessible from the freeway.GOOD PLACE TO SAY The motel room was clean and well maintained.

.Very Good Enjoyed the opportunity to bring our pet with us, and the hot was great! The Safeway store is within walking distance too.

. -The beds looked like they had been freshly slept in. --The was "something" on the bathroom floor and hair in the shower. --The garbage can had not been emptied which called into question all the rest of the room cleaning.Would not go back -Greeted by unidentified stomach contents on the sidewalk in front of the lobby -The room was dirty and outdated.

Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay There was alway something going on, places to see that were near by.Best Hotel yet I had a wonderful time staying at the Red Lion Inn, would recommend it to anyone.

. missoula water park - nice and economical.Ok 1 ice machine out of order.

Travelers tip on local attractions The river running thru town is great and they have several restaurants with outdoor eating. Would recommend a small mini refrig in room. Also the comfortable chair could use a cleaning.Needs room updates The room was comfortable and clean and the bed was comfy, but small details need attention The room had a damp and musty smell, wallpaper peeling in shower area.

. in the summer. Travelers tip on local attractions I love the markets on Sat. Overall, a very pleasant place to stay. Looks like a very nice pool and hot tub even tho’ I didn’t use them. The employees are very pleasant. The continental breakfast is very nice including waffles, breakfast burritos and the regular. It’s close to the interstate but that’s not apparent as far as noise goes. Within walking distance of downtown and close to the university if you have a student.Great location.

. We especially enjoyed going to the ice cream place on the corner-I think it was called the Big Dipper." Travelers tip on local attractions Missoula is a great town. There was pop left in the room by former person and that was still there.Would stay there again "We got a good deal through expedia.

thank you for thinking of the weary traveler!!! make sure to have ice cream at The big dipper!... Your beds are the most comfortable beds we have ever had traveling.con and did not know this hotel at all. Will use this hotel again and again!! we were very happy when we arrived at the Red Lion Inn Missoula, i had booked our stay through expedia.

No negatives!. Absolutely will stay here again. Good bed.Great deal I was in town to visit family and this hotel was very comfortable, room was clean, well appointed and quiet.

. Will stay here again. Internet service. Breakfast adequate. Pool was clean. We liked the out door enterance. Room was clean, large, quiet and safe - open door for fresh montana air. of Montana and found this hotel an excellent place to stayed.Go Griz!! my son and I attended registeration at the Univ.

. Would definitely go back and stay. Room was clean and comfortable.Great Hotel In MIssoula Staff was couteous and friendly.

. Travelers tip on local attractions Give frisbee golf a try while you’re here. Only beef - the continental breakfast could be a little better.Very pleasant, comfy mattress Very clean, great views, friendly staff, surprised at the comfortable mattress.

. Not as nice as the Doubletree or Hoilday Inn but half the price. I would recommend this to anyone who has business in Missoula. Clean room, courteous staff, breakfast was on a par with Hampton etc.Good Value This is the best value in Missoula.

. Travelers tip on saving a few bucks bring a cooler to store anything refrigerated; there is no fridge and you can use the ice machine to keep it stocked with ice. We had to convert our ice bucket into a makeshift cooler to have even cold drinks. Only real complaint was that there was no refrigerator in the hotel room. Pillows were kind of flat and mattress a little too soft, but overall, not too bad.Not horrible, but nothing special Hotel was comfortable enough, but nothing spectacular.

. Other Red Loins I’ve stayed at in Ontario, CA and Elko, NV were had more quality to the stay. Bed was hard, and I just expected more than I received.Expected More From Red Lion The motel was old, but it showed it’s age.

Travelers tip on local attractions Make sure you take advantage of the free carousel ticket they give you the first day -- it’s only a few minutes away and worth visiting!. The staff were very courteous and responsive and breakfast was good. Otherwise, I would give this hotel high marks and will probably stay there again. My room was on the ground floor and was a bit dark and a little musty at first. If you don’t like this style, you may not want to stay here. The "hotel" is in "motel format" -- each room is entered from the exterior. Right next to a brand new Safeway and within walking distance of the trendy downtown area, the river walk and trails.Good hotel for the price The location of the hotel is very good.

. Yes, would stay there again. Room was comfortable.Comfortable and convenient Breakfast was decent.

. Other than that, it was a pleasurable experience.we had to hurry to make it and the food was wisked away at 9 sharp...m which I thought was a tad early for a Sunday. The Sunday morning breakfast was over at 9 a. The staff was helpful.Nice experience The hotel was very nice and the rooms comfortable.
