Clean & comfortableClean & comfortable, friendly staff, all you really need after a 500 mile drive and an early start in the morning. Not a lot of nearby restaurants were open when we arrived though (just past 9 PM).Rating:5
nice stayI stayed 2 nights at the Red Lion, and had no complaints. The bed was very comfortable, everything worked in the room, and best of all, the shower head was about 6 1/2 feet high. Very nice for a person almost 6 feet tall. Also, its right down the street from a Safeway that has a great salad bar/deli/coffee shop.Rating:3
Fine for businessNothing fancy or new but clean and was able to get a pretty reasonable rate. I would consider this 2 1/2 stars.Rating:5
Cant wait to go back to Missoula .The Qualiy of the Hotel in Missoula vary good. Thank youRating:5
Good serviceI was impressed by the helpfulness and professional attitude of the hotel staff. I would definitely stay at the Red Lion should business take me there again.Rating:4
Older, But Well-LocatedWe enjoyed the beds, the breakfast, and the location close to downtown Missoula. I missed having a bathtub, but we would definitely stay again.
Travelers tip on saving a few bucksThe cost of this hotel was very reasonable.Rating:3
GOOD PLACE TO SAYThe motel room was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the pool and loacation was easily accessible from the freeway. Good place to stay when visiting Missoula and inexpensive.
Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stayThe pool was a plus and will be enjoyed by the whole family.Rating:4
Very GoodEnjoyed the opportunity to bring our pet with us, and the hot was great! The Safeway store is within walking distance too.Rating:1
Would not go back-Greeted by unidentified stomach contents on the sidewalk in front of the lobby -The room was dirty and outdated. --The garbage can had not been emptied which called into question all the rest of the room cleaning. --The was "something" on the bathroom floor and hair in the shower. -The beds looked like they had been freshly slept in.Rating:5
Best Hotel yetI had a wonderful time staying at the Red Lion Inn, would recommend it to anyone.
Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stayThere was alway something going on, places to see that were near byRating:4
ok1 ice machine out of order. missoula water park - nice and economical.Rating:3
Needs room updatesThe room was comfortable and clean and the bed was comfy, but small details need attention The room had a damp and musty smell, wallpaper peeling in shower area. Also the comfortable chair could use a cleaning. Would recommend a small mini refrig in room.
Travelers tip on local attractionsThe river running thru town is great and they have several restaurants with outdoor eatingRating:4
Great location.Within walking distance of downtown and close to the university if you have a student. Its close to the interstate but thats not apparent as far as noise goes. The continental breakfast is very nice including waffles, breakfast burritos and the regular. The employees are very pleasant. Looks like a very nice pool and hot tub even tho I didnt use them. Overall, a very pleasant place to stay.
Travelers tip on local attractionsI love the markets on Sat. in the summer.Rating:4
would stay there again"We got a good deal through expedia. There was pop left in the room by former person and that was still there."
Travelers tip on local attractionsMissoula is a great town. We especially enjoyed going to the ice cream place on the corner-I think it was called the Big Dipper.Rating:5
will use this hotel again and again!!we were very happy when we arrived at the Red Lion Inn Missoula, i had booked our stay through expedia.con and did not know this hotel at all. Your beds are the most comfortable beds we have ever had traveling...thank you for thinking of the weary traveler!!! make sure to have ice cream at The big dipper!Rating:4
Great dealI was in town to visit family and this hotel was very comfortable, room was clean, well appointed and quiet. Good bed. Absolutely will stay here again. No negatives!Rating:5

Great Hotel In MIssoulaStaff was couteous and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely go back and stay.Rating:5
Very pleasant, comfy mattressVery clean, great views, friendly staff, surprised at the comfortable mattress. Only beef - the continental breakfast could be a little better.
Travelers tip on local attractionsGive frisbee golf a try while youre here.Rating:5
Good ValueThis is the best value in Missoula. Clean room, courteous staff, breakfast was on a par with Hampton etc. I would recommend this to anyone who has business in Missoula. Not as nice as the Doubletree or Hoilday Inn but half the price.Rating:3
not horrible, but nothing specialHotel was comfortable enough, but nothing spectacular. Pillows were kind of flat and mattress a little too soft, but overall, not too bad. Only real complaint was that there was no refrigerator in the hotel room. We had to convert our ice bucket into a makeshift cooler to have even cold drinks.
Travelers tip on saving a few bucksbring a cooler to store anything refrigerated; there is no fridge and you can use the ice machine to keep it stocked with ice.Rating:3
Expected More From Red LionThe motel was old, but it showed its age. Bed was hard, and I just expected more than I received. Other Red Loins Ive stayed at in Ontario, CA and Elko, NV were had more quality to the stay.Rating:4
Good hotel for the priceThe location of the hotel is very good. Right next to a brand new Safeway and within walking distance of the trendy downtown area, the river walk and trails. The "hotel" is in "motel format" -- each room is entered from the exterior. If you dont like this style, you may not want to stay here. My room was on the ground floor and was a bit dark and a little musty at first. Otherwise, I would give this hotel high marks and will probably stay there again. The staff were very courteous and responsive and breakfast was good.
Travelers tip on local attractionsMake sure you take advantage of the free carousel ticket they give you the first day -- its only a few minutes away and worth visiting!Rating:4
Comfortable and convenientBreakfast was decent. Room was comfortable. Yes, would stay there again.Rating:4
Nice experienceThe hotel was very nice and the rooms comfortable. The staff was helpful. The Sunday morning breakfast was over at 9 a.m which I thought was a tad early for a Sunday...we had to hurry to make it and the food was wisked away at 9 sharp. Other than that, it was a pleasurable experience.
