. Also, it’s right down the street from a Safeway that has a great salad bar/deli/coffee shop. Very nice for a person almost 6 feet tall. The bed was very comfortable, everything worked in the room, and best of all, the shower head was about 6 1/2 feet high.Nice stay I stayed 2 nights at the Red Lion, and had no complaints.

. -The beds looked like they had been freshly slept in. --The was "something" on the bathroom floor and hair in the shower. --The garbage can had not been emptied which called into question all the rest of the room cleaning.Would not go back -Greeted by unidentified stomach contents on the sidewalk in front of the lobby -The room was dirty and outdated.

. in the summer. Travelers tip on local attractions I love the markets on Sat. Overall, a very pleasant place to stay. Looks like a very nice pool and hot tub even tho’ I didn’t use them. The employees are very pleasant. The continental breakfast is very nice including waffles, breakfast burritos and the regular. It’s close to the interstate but that’s not apparent as far as noise goes. Within walking distance of downtown and close to the university if you have a student.Great location.

. Travelers tip on saving a few bucks bring a cooler to store anything refrigerated; there is no fridge and you can use the ice machine to keep it stocked with ice. We had to convert our ice bucket into a makeshift cooler to have even cold drinks. Only real complaint was that there was no refrigerator in the hotel room. Pillows were kind of flat and mattress a little too soft, but overall, not too bad.Not horrible, but nothing special Hotel was comfortable enough, but nothing spectacular.

The staff were very courteous and responsive and breakfast was good. Otherwise, I would give this hotel high marks and will probably stay there again. My room was on the ground floor and was a bit dark and a little musty at first. If you don’t like this style, you may not want to stay here. The "hotel" is in "motel format" -- each room is entered from the exterior. Right next to a brand new Safeway and within walking distance of the trendy downtown area, the river walk and trails.Good hotel for the price The location of the hotel is very good.
