. Room doesnt even have a hair dryer and bathroom not very clean. I asked for late check out and when I got back to my room the maids had already cleaned and the manager pounded on my door telling me I had already checked out (which I hadnt). Hotel hard to find. Not worth It!
Hard to get in and out of parking lot because of only access from north.
. Though i am glad that business was good for them, it would be nice to have seen them a bit more organized as far as tracking room reservations. My clothes stank of cigarette smoke. No Rooms Available
Though the people at thedesk were very nice, I wound up with a smoking room because they didnt have anything else available.
. I appreciated the good price and would recommend it for someone trying to save money. It was ok
I had a little problem with the thermostat but the hotel was all right.
. A korean-owned japanese joint down the street is also a worthy selection. Im from southern California so typical mexican stuff like this hits the spot. On my way to OHare, I stopped by for pozole & champurrado. Los Compadres down the block serves great mexican food & opens early.
Travelers tip on dining
Mitzuwa across the street has a food court with great japanese & chinese food. this is also close to a few cool eating spots. literally, across the street, just wait for the bus and youll be at the blue line in a matter of minutes.Great stay in quiet suburb
although it is a ways from the downtown Chicago area, the main bus that runs to the blue line drives right by the redroof inn.
. the front desk was pleasant and helpful but the rooms left a little to be desired.Decent for the price and location
it was ok.
Economical
economical, very clean
Travelers tip on saving a few bucks
economical, very clean.
Smelly
non smoking room smelled like an ash tray.
. There was a smell of smoke of cigarettes, probably somebody smoked in this room nevertheless the room was a non-smoking one.Room was stinking
Room was dirty with a lot of stains on the moquet.
. Good value for the money, we will use it again
Travelers tip on dining
Several chain and independent restaurants are within walking distance. The staff is responsive but overworked (its a successful property) Clean and reasonably well maintained. Downtown is about 1/2 hour away. Convenient location just off the I-90 and a quick hop to OHare.Good value, convenient location, quiet enough
Good hotel for stays of up to two weeks.
Regular place to stay
We are regular visitors to this area.
. Pleasant and informative staff that does all they can to help as long as you ask.Meets your Needs Hotel
Great for a cheap and pleasant business trip.
. Super easy access to public transportation.
Travelers tip
Very close to restaurants and the Mall. For the price I couldnt have asked for anything more.Excellent Customer Service, Great Price
The hotel was not a luxury hotel, but it was very comfortable and the service was excellent and always done with a smile.
. There is also the streets of Woodfield which has more outside shops, restaurants and a huge movie plex.
Travelers tip on shopping
Schaumburg Mall is 3 miles away. The staff was friendly and helpful.
It was clean enough and close to shopping.Good location close to stuff like the Schaumburg, Woodfield Mall.
Great staff!.Great stay
Clean and comfortable room.
. You get what you pay for and it was a good experience for what I paid for. Cons: You have to ask for an ironing board and iron. Nicely renovated and staff was friendly. Close to area shopping mall and food. Not the 80s red roof inn we new as kids
Pros: Great location.
. Would go back again if on a tight budget. The room was clean, the hotel was close to restaurants, means of travel, grocery stores and other amenities.Nice budget hotel
It was nothing fantastic, but you get what you pay for.
. Location was fantastic.
Travelers tip on dining
There were unlimited restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. First time I have stayed in a Red Roof Inn and I would definately reccommend it and would stay again. I locked my key card in our room and asked at the desk for another and with thorough security checking I was given another. We requested extra towels and then each day after that we had plenty. Our room was clean, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, the heating cooling system in the room was easy to use and comfortable. The area was full of shopping and restaurants. It was very easy to find our destination from hotel to convention.
The motel was very easy to find after getting off the highway.Would definately stay again, very nice.
. for the money its perfect BUT only if you make sure you have a good bed, not a old worn out bed with a crader in the middle that you need to tie a rope around the bed post to climb out.. the water was yellow-ish and it stayed that way.. and the other is the shower/tub. the room was very nice but the king size pillow top bed was the worst Ive ever tried to sleep on, if you sit on the end or side of bed it seems fine, but once you lay down you will roll down to the middle, its like a giant hole that takes up 3/4 of the bed and very hard on your back, you look up at your feet kind of.. And now the bad stuff. The staff was very helpfull with some questions I had about traffic and when I should leave for my business meetings in the morning, and also their is some places to eat close to the hotel.Good and Bad???
When we arrived at the Hotel it looked very clean and nice.
.Great place!
Great location, great price - no make that fantastic price for the Chicago area, Great manager and staff! My new home away from home.
Very close to I-90 exit that takes you straight to Chicago downtown. Multiple options for breakfast/dining within walking distance make up for the lack of food options in the hotel.Budget hotel
good place to stay if all you need is a place to rest at night.
. The bed wasnt the most comfortable thing but it was fine. It was clean and smell free. we plan on staying there again in the future. For the price it was worth it. They did not provide a do not disturb sign so I called down to the desk and asked them not to clean our room and they didnt. The ladies at the front were very helpfull with directions. I dotn know if they serve breakfast because we always went out. We wanted a place to lay our heads at night and this is what we got.You get what you pay for
We took a last minute trip to Chicago and didnt want to spend a ton of money.
It was relatively clean and but could use an update. It is, what it is
This Hotel served its purpose for an overnight business stay.
.Red Roof Ohare
Just fine for a low cost hotel, clean and quiet.
. It was marginally clean and I found if OK for such a price. Of course one should note that this is Red Roof not a fancy hotel and expectations should be accordingly. You get what you paid for
I just wanted basic place to stay at night.
. It took more time and cab fare to get places, due to inconvenient location. Expedia says this hotel is 5 miles from OHare, but the hotels website says its 9 miles from OHare. Not impressed
Room was dirty and had ants.
