. I tried to MapQuest the address & the best route to the hotel is not typical & doesn’t show up correctly on MapQuest. Travelers tip Call the hotel directly to the get the best directions to their location. Overall, it met the need & we’d stay there again. However, it was one of the few Red Roof Inns that we’ve stayed at that does NOT have the continental breakfast, which was a little inconvenient.Price & location were right, I’d stay again It was clean & close to where we were attending a couple of family functions, plus it was half the price of a different hotel that a family member was trying to make reservations for us.

.but you can get a place with a nice breakfast, and a computer, for the same price... Once again, nice place. Another amenity available in most hotels these days. And, no computer for guest use in the lobby. Everyone has at least continental breakfast these days. No breakfast at all. But I still can’t get over two things. Staff was very friendly and helpful.Where’s The Food? I very much enjoyed my week long stay.

Travelers tip on dining We splurged at Poppa Deaux(Sp) for dinner on what we saved and had breakfast at Rock Springs; all easy access to freeway. RR was clean, quiet, no frills, but cordial and located conveniently. No breakfast and cheaper rate beat the nasty Fruit Loops and other crap which passed as brkfst at other place. After big disappointment at other motel in Tucson, this was great.Will stay at Red Roof again - Economical, location good.

Bathrooms were remodeled and upgraded with hardwood floors ( very nice!) Me and my family really enjoyed our stay!. I have a big thing with cleanliness under the beds so I checked under the beds and very clean. However, the rooms were very nice and comfortable. I was not expecting much for a 2 star hotel.My Stay For the price I was pleasantly surprised.

We could see the hotel, just couldn’t find the street, had to pass 3 times before we figured it out!. When we finally got to where we were supposed to be, the street that the hotel was on was really hard to find, it is not marked very well. The hotel is right next to the freeway, but mapquest got us off on a different freeway, we had to take surface streets for 15 minutes, then realized mapquest had sent us the wrong way. Cheap and easy! HOWEVER, finding the place was kind of a problem.Worked out just fine! We just needed a clean place to rest our heads and we found it here! Was comfy and clean.

. Travelers tip The Road is not marked well, from I17 turn right at the "Pointball" sign. I was busy at the conference I was attending, but this Hotel served my needs well. Everything looked and smelled clean, the effort to keep everything in good repair was evident. I arrived early and the were still accommadating. . The grocery store located across the street is excellent. This will save you lots of money. Have food in one and drinks in the other. Purchase a couple of foam coolers and keep them in your room full of ice. We travelled with a team of baseball players and a continental breakfast option would have made our stay perfect. This would have made the stay more enjoyable. the downfall is that the rooms do not have fridges or coffee pots.Lacks amenities the hotel is easy to find and located close the the main highways and many restaurants and grocery stores.

. The pillow situation probably could have been remedied with a visit to the front desk, but unless you like a really firm mattress this may not be for you. Our only complaint was a very hard mattress and not enough pillows. We found the hotel to be clean and quiet with all the usual amenities.Not bad for the price We were in Phoenix for a wedding and just needed a place to sleep.

Hotel clean and housekeeping service good. My only other quibble is that the towels were small and rough (if you like an exfoliating scrub after your shower, you’re in luck). Though I could hear it in my room, it was not loud enough to keep me awake, however. My room looked out on eight lanes of speeding traffic.Good basic hotel but on major highway This was a good basic hotel for a very good price, but be aware that it is on a major freeway.
