If you’re biking in the area, we would recommend parking your car at the visitor’s center in Newport and ride over to Bellevue Ave. It was very well maintained. It is a paved trail that extends just over 13 miles making a nice 26 mile round trip ride. Very friendly staff! Travelers tip on recreational activities The East Bay Trail that runs from East Providence to Bristol is a great biking trail for the whole family. We would definitely have no hesitation to return to this Residence Inn. Easy access to get downtown, to East Providence, and Newport. The area offered a lot of shopping and restaurants nearby, as well. We were allowed to store the bikes at night in their storage area to prevent leaving them on the car rack, which was bonus! The layout of the rooms is more like an apartment setting (4 rooms per quad) which made the atmosphere very cozy.Great Place! Great People! My wife and I traveled to Warwick to do some bicycling in the area.

Other then that this was the perfect hotel and we will 100% definately return here in the future. Memory Foam is not all that comfortable. The ONLY thing that prevents this from being perfect was the bed.Very happy We were impressed with the staff, the over all hotel and the location was ideal.

Also, if using GPS to set location, make sure you do it on the street in front of the hotel - most GPS systems aren’t familiar with the location and might put you out on 95!.Great place! Kind of a weird neighborhood, but a really nice hotel.
