Otherwise, a great stay!.which really surprised us... Also, it was the same guy who checked us in and he had no customer service skills at all and acted like we were bothering him. We think he should have asked us if we had a laptop because most places these days do not require a cord.which means that we should have told him we had a laptop and then we would have gotten a cord... The guy handed us a cord. We finally went by the office on our way out the next morning, and told them we could not get online. Left a message and they never called us back. and called that evening - got answering service. We could not get e-mail, etc. We could not get the internet to work - even though we had an access code on our entry card.there is an office manager during the day, but you get an answering service if you need something after hours.... Only one small complaint. Lots of shopping, great restaurants, movie theatre - and quick access to all the things that we love doing in Myrtle Beach anyway.upscale...very nice, quiet... It was a great change for us. We decided to try this for a change of pace. I found the Market Commons online and was not familiar with it since it is new. We have continued going back by ourselves after the boys were gone, and always stayed in the same places.will do it again!
For the past 15 years, we have been stying oceanfront in Myrtle Beach (had 2 sons)....New experience.
. area is safe.
rooms are very clean. the market common is your own small town. free parking everywhere. plenty of dining, shopping and beach is 5 minutes away. it has full kitchen, so you can cook. very comfortable room, that has everything you need.Home away from everyday life
hotel staff very friendly.
Would go back soon!. The room was clean and very comfortable.Cant wait to go back
The stay was very nice.
. There was not a computer room, which would be the only negative I found.
Travelers tip
Although there is free internet in the rooms, I did not bring a laptop. I would recommend this location to anyone who is looking for a very nice place to stay. I actually played golf just across the North Carolina border and it only took about 40 minutes to get there. Being in the center of Myrtle Beach made it extremelly easy to get around. It is in the Market Commons above the shops and restaurants and just a few minutes from the 17 Bypass and Kings Highway which is the main street downtown. The furniture was new and had everything we needed for a nice stay. We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bath that was very nice.Very Nice & Great Location
The check in staff was friendly and that is the only time I had any contact with anyone.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!... what more can you ask for? In Summary... You get a free entrance and parking pass to the beach. The location was great for day or night walking (very safe area) because of the beautiful architecture, nice backroud music in the streets, convenient stores, movie theater, etc. I felt like I was at home.) had every kitchen utensil one could need. Seriously, the Full kitchen (Full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dish washer plus electric mixer, etc. They were very, very, very clean and had every convenience imagineable (almost to an extreme).Probably one of the Best Places in Myrtle Beach
The rooms were no more than a year old.
. Theres shopping, dining, they have an IMAX theater, mini golf, and a water play area for kids that they can run into.
Broadway at the Beach has a lot of stuff you can do with your family. Overall the restaurants and shopping area is wonderful and well be coming back again next year. Going to the state park is great! So make sure to get a pass (its free). I have a family of 6 and we just love it here. And we keep coming back
This is our second year staying here and we just love it! There was a confusion on our room but they fixed that without a problem.
I have already recommended this condo community to other friends and I hope to go back again!. I loved the layout of the shops and I enjoyed the free apetizer coupons and menus that we were provided with as a part of our welcome package. It was close to the beach, beautiful, quiet area.Nice Getaway
We enjoyed our stay.
.). Its about 10 minutes from just about everywhere else (Freestyle, Nascar, Broadway at the Beach, outlets, etc. We didnt mind spending extra time in the and MC area. You will appreciate these areas if yo go in August like we did, when it was 100 degrees.also has PF Changs...

ResortQuest is in a very nice area about 1 mile from the beach and has many restaurants and some upscale shopping in the Market Commons area right outside your door including Ultimate California pizza, we went twice. Reasonable rates and excellent room. Still, when we return, this will most likely be our first choice. Only wish there was a pool, and couldnt accomodate late check out and theres no house keeping while youre there (but we really didnt need it after we figured out where to place our trash). We used the den as a BR and it was fine for two teenagers. There were 5 of us and there was plenty of space. We had a 1 br king with a den and its basically a mini apartment with everything. The whole Market Common area looks less than a year old.A great experience
This hotel/resort was great! Very clean with modern furnishings.
. I recommend ResortQuest-The Market Common to anyone and we plan on coming back again. All entertainment spots, including the beach, were a hop, skip, and a jump away. The Market Common was convenient with all its restaurants, clothing depts and movie theatre. The place we stayed at was so clean and spacious and the beds felt like we were sleeping on clouds. The staff was informative and friendly. ResortQuest Rentals met all our needs.Wonderfully relaxing
This was our first family vacation.
. We drove to the beach each day and had to pay the parking fee. You have to walk down a busy road and cross a busy street.
Travelers tip
Even though it is only 1 mile from the beach, expect to drive. No matter how much fun we had during the day, we couldnt wait to get back to the comfort of the room and craw into that wonderful bed. It was our favorite part of the trip. The bed was so comfortable. My family and I will definalty visit Market Common again. It was away from the crowds yet surrounded by so much. The area was great. The staff was extremely helpful. The room was exactly like the pictures. It was pleasantly comfortable.Great stay
The hotel was wonderful.
. Especially breakfast. Save some money and do some of your own cooking. A grocery store is walking distance (within village) away.
Travelers tip on saving a few bucks
Rooms all have kitchens. I HIGHLY recommend the Market Commons as a great home away from home getaway. They are basically mini apartments, giving you plenty of room to spread out an relax. The hotels are above the shops, all providing views of the activity below. you can go back to the peacefull little village and relax.. The wonderful thing about the Market Commons is that when you are done with your site-seeing, amusements, beach, etc. Ripleys Aquarium, Hard Rock Amusement Park, Broadway on the Beach, and numerous other attractions are all withing a few miles away. The excitement of Myrtle Beach is also just about 1 mile away, with the boardwalk, piers, and attractions. It is not as crowded as the other beaches either. The state park is on the ocean, providing all the beach access you could want. The Market Commons gives you a free pass to the local state park, which is 1 mile away. Playsets for the kids, geese to feed and plenty of grass to romp around in. There is a very large public park, with walking/biking/rollerblading trail that goes all around a huge pond. Excellent restaurants, movie theater and shops.Myrtle Beach best kept secret
Market Commons is a little village about a mile from the beach.
.Best choice
Very nice place and easy to access the beach

. You definitely cant beat the price for all the space and comfort. And you are only 5 minutes (or less) from the beach. As other have said, the actual room does look exactly as they show on the pictures. I think he felt like he was at home because of the kitchen, dining/living room, and adjoining bedrooms. As we walked into our ResortQuest room, my oldest son had a huge smile on his face and the first thing he said was "I have the best mom ever!" The room was very nice, clean and spacious.Very Nice for the Price
My husband and I wanted to take our two young boys (age 2 and 6) to the beach for a few days, but did not want to stay on the coast as many hotels there are usually not kept as clean due to so many people tracking sand in and out of the their rooms.
.
Very clean room and property. Cant wait to go back.Excellent location.
Would have stayed longer if we could
this is very nice tostay well maintained i would go back tomorrow
Travelers tip on shopping
this little communty has everthing you need movie theater, grocery store and plenty of resturants.
We were so pleased and only wish we could pack our suitcases and go back very soon!!. Market Commons is a wonderful location; quick and easy to whatever attractions you are after. The area could not have been nicer - our teenage daughters loved it.A Mrytle Beach Dream
Resort Quest rentals at Market Commons was perfect; a vacationers dream!! From the friendy helpful staff to the ammenties we could not have been more pleased.

Travelers tip on saving a few bucks
Resortquest has a full kitchen, so you can cook at your hotel and take it to go and that will save you more money to spend on souvenirs. It was just a great experience. He helped me laugh it off and gave me a new code. I returned to the office and Zack made me feel comfortable and not like a dumb guest. I felt so secure with the keyless entry, despite the fact that I locked myself out. The staff was great over the phone, at check-in, and check-out. I am suggesting it for a couples retreat. It is about a mile away from the beach, however, it is the perfect place to return to after bathing in the sun. It has a grocery store around the corner so we were able to save money and cook. It was well cleaned and had a welcoming feeling. We walked into the room and discovered that the picture on the net did not do it any justice. We wanted to spend some "us" time together. I planned this trip for my fiance and I before I moved. I have been talking about it since I left.Great Place for Us/Family Time
This was a great place to stay.

Close to the beach you can be there in 10 minutes at the most. We will definetly stay here the next time we go to Myrtle Beach. My wife and I travel 3 to 4 times a year, I would say with out a doubt this is one of the nicest places we have stayed at. The room was equipped with everything needed including 3 flat screen TVs, stereo, all applicances. This paticular room was not available so they upgraded us to a two bedroom at no extra cost. We had reserved a one bedroom with a den.Very clean and comfortable
When we arrived to check in the front desk realized there was a mistake our reservations was for the next week.
. Would definitely stay here again and in fact have already been looking for information to see what other properties are managed by Resort Quest. The location was great too - between north and south Myrtle Beach which was handy. Very handy to shops and restaruants and the beach was only 1 mile away. Price was great. Accomocations were excellent, comfy bed, very clean.Great Place
Our stay at the Common Market at Myrtle Beach was awesome.
. The service was a bit slow but the food was much better than I expected.
Travelers tip on dining
Tommy Bahamas restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Would definitely stay here again as I enjoy not being cooped up in a single room when I am staying somewhere for more than a few days. It is in an upscale area withplenty of shops and restaurants. The location was not on the beach but I didnt want the beach crowds on this trip anyway. Sure you dont get free breakfast but with a full service supermarket within walking distance that was no problem. Bedroom, living room, kitchen, dining area and den for much less than hotels. They are fully furnished and supplied with all you need. This is not actually a hotel but really rental apartments.Great value for a lot of room
Stayed for 4 days over Memorial Day weekend.
VERY IMPRESSED
NICE
Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay
QUEIT.
. Malls and other stores close by.
Travelers tip on shopping
With the grocery store, restaurants, and shops you dont have to leave the complex. Complex very busy during day but quiet at night. Clean, comfortable and had all amenities including washer/dryer.Im Going Back again
The 1-bedroom condo that we had was perfect.
. If you have kids that get bored rather quickly, look for a place with a pool.
The kids would have much rather had a place with a pool. I would recommend this as a place to stay. It was clean and comfortable. The room we had was nice. There really was not much for them to do except walk around which they did the first day. The kids would have preferred some other place. The wife and I liked it very much.
The rooms are above shopping stores.Nice place to stay.
. 2 miles from the beach, and everything was so accessible. It was appx. Was the best location and refreshing stay i have had in a long time
The room had everything that we needed, wash machine and dryer, pots, pans, dishes.
Very nice and comfortable
easy access, in a safe area, felt very comfortable.
