    Love Sam’s Town!

I love Sam’s Town! Get a room that looks into the atrium and you can spend the whole day watching the waterfall. Bowling, movie theater, bingo, great restaurants... so many things to do!

Travelers tip on saving a few bucks

Go to the movie matinee for a cheap show, but skip the popcorn. The bowling center has 99 cent popcorn.

I always stayed on the strip.......but Sams Town has all I need.

I would never hesitate to stay at Sams Town again...So convient as I was a female and by myself. The buffet was wonderful.....the staff were all so helpful and I had no trouble renting a wheel chair for the week...Had a wonderful trip once again..

    Travelers tip on shopping

You just must get to the outlets if you love to shop.......Also try TGIFridays right in Sams...they have the best burgers I’ve ever tasted....

i did read some negitive reviews before booking on expidia. did use the travelers opinion to book the hotel. nice clean rooms, nice selection of earting in the hotel. i have no complaints at all. it is six miles from the strip. rent a car and drive it is about twenty minutes staright shot by car. plenty of free parking at the strip. great palce to saty!!!

    Travelers tip on shopping

wal mart right across the street to stock up on anything. alot of food and shopping very nearby.

    Pros and Cons

The hotel is nice and well taken care of but, I didn’t like the extra costs associated with wireless internet service that I got for free in both Sedona and Williams (Grand Canyon). The quality of food seems to have diminished some from what it used to be. It used to be very good and this time, it seemed average or less.

    Can’t wait to go back

Looking to use this hotel for my boyfriends 40th birthday.

Great place to stay, for lot less money...

    Love it...

    Travelers tip on shopping

    Great Mexican food...

    Local Favorite for a reason

The old saying goes, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do." This certainly applies here. The rooms are nice an clean, service is very good, and it has anything you could ask for, including a bowling alley and a theater. The center atrium and waterfall is very relaxing, and it has an animatronic and laser show 4 times a day, in the evening. The casino employees are friendly, and very helpful. The steakhouse looked very nice but was a bit too pricey for my budget at this time, so I visited the buffet and TGIFriday’s. The breakfast special at Friday’s was quite good, and inexpensive. I visited the buffet twice, and it was good but not spectacular as buffets go. If you need to go down to the strip, they have a free shuttle. But the last shuttle leaves the strip at 10, which would be a bit early if you wanted to see a show. However, a taxi ride would not break the bank. It’s about 6 miles down Flamingo Road. I had a car, and it didn’t take long at all. Overall, Sam’s Town is a great place to stay, especially for families, if you don’t need to stay on the strip and pay the higher prices of teh strip. I had a great room rate.

Sam’s Town is great, and you never have to leave if you don’t want to... but if you want a killer family breakfast, try Blueberry Hill, about a mile or so west on Flamingo Road. There’s a Costco 2 exits south on the freeway, if you want the cheapest gast in town or want to stock up on water bottles.

Sam’ Town is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The bar next to the waterfall is a relaxing place to sit and have a drink. The employees are very helpful and friendly. TGIFridays is a great addition! I love this place!

you can move around with out bumping in to a lot of tourist. people speak to you, like home town people. in las vegas my 1st choice is sams town

Travelers tip on saving a few bucks

take the razor blades out of your pocket. you can afford eat, drink, and have a good time, wether you stay in sams town or cruise the area.

    Couldnt have asked for better!

Hotel was wonderful, and the staff at ALL points of service were EXCELLENT and so nice. The room was good size and in good shape. Price was unbeatable! The casino was great and friendly, and the food...OH MY GOODNESS THE FOOD WAS AWESOME! Great restaurant/price selections. Only suggestion would be that the shuttle to/from strip run a little later, but overall...FOUND MY NEW PLACE TO STAY! I will definitely be back!

    Good for Value Business Trip

This is a value for both recreation and business. Few food places around property. Hotel is clean and comfortable.

    Travelers tip for business travelers

In Room Internet is too expensive

    Great Place for Family Fun

This casino has a bowling alley and movie theater, which make it a great place to stay with kids. The buffet is excellent and if you want to eat quickly there are a lot of fast food choices also. We also like the Shepler’s store located on the second floor of the casino. The housekeeping staff are very friendly and quiet in the morning.

We always enjoy Sam Town, Las Vegas

We have stayed at Sam’ Town Hotel and R.V. park. We have never had a bad expierance.

Very Impressed..Cant wait to vacation there again

I was very impressed with the Sam’s Town Hotel. The hotel is very clean..Our room was very clean and comfortable..Like home. This hotel is very family friendly..you dont to leave the hotel..you have all types of entertainment for the adults and kids..shopping and restaurants. the staff was extremely nice.It was close to my family and not a bad drive to the strip. they even have a shuttle to the strip.which I thought was awesome(no driving:pick up and drop off)When I get married I am planning on staying there in one of the suites. I will most definetly vacation there again..and would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends..

    A Bargain

Very successful stay. We definitely were comfortable and staff was very accomodating. We will go back

Wife and I stayed two nights in late August. Objective was to stay close to airport for early flight. Hotel was 30 minutes by car to airport, more time than estimated. Otherwise stay was excellent. Free schuttle to strip was very convenient except taht last schuttle for return to hotel was too early in evening(around 10 PM).

    Get away weekend

I have stayed here 3 other times before will go back

    Not the Strip

This hotel has more locals and families in it then hotels on the strip. It has a large bowling alley in basement, movie theatres connected to casino and many eating establishments. I had a problem with my A/C, and within ten minutes of calling the front desk, the problem was being fixed. Very nice staff.

    Very nice

Everything was so good. I want to go there again if I have time. I recommend this hotel to anybody who want to Las Vegas. The price was very good.

Travelers tip on saving a few bucks

Everything was good price and parking was so easy

    ok for the price

For the most part the room was ok. Definitely no view (faced out over roof and back side of theater -- pipes and air conditioning units). Bathroom had a sour smell, even after the maid had cleaned. Dined in the steakhouse once a few years ago. Steak was overdone then from what I requested; thought I’d give it a try again. Well, same results as before, overdone and tuff.

    Travelers tip

I suppose a higher-end room could have been better. Forget the steakhouse unless you like your steaks dry and done.

    Great off strip hotel.

Great off the strip hotel. Rooms have been recently remodeled. Love the staff. Dealers are nice. Poker room was great. Food at the steakhouse was wonderful. 24/7 TGI Fridays with great prices. I don’t recommend walking around the area at night though. It’s a quick ride to the strip. SamsTown also has free shuttles to the ’popular’ areas of Vegas. I would give it a 9.25 out of 10.

I’ve been staying in Vegas hotels for the past 2 months, Sams Town is the best!

I’ve been staying in Vegas hotels for the past 2 months, Sams Town is the best!

    Great Hotel for the Money

Enjoyed my stay at Sams Town. The room was clean, neat and comfortable. Was there for a weekend getaway and will gladly return.

    Not a bad hotel

My daughter and I had to stay only for one night, so it wasn’t too bad. The hotel was very nice and the staff was very helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, however, the paint was peeling off the wall in some spots. The pillows on the bed were not standard size (smaller) so was an uncomfortable sleep. But overall, I would stay there again.

    I’ll ba bach

    very satisfied, Thank You
