I would never hesitate to stay at Sams Town again.but Sams Town has all I need.......I always stayed on the strip.

Travelers tip on shopping wal mart right across the street to stock up on anything. plenty of free parking at the strip. rent a car and drive it is about twenty minutes staright shot by car. it is six miles from the strip. i have no complaints at all. nice clean rooms, nice selection of earting in the hotel. did use the travelers opinion to book the hotel.VERY GOOD PALCE TO STAY i did read some negitive reviews before booking on expidia.

. It used to be very good and this time, it seemed average or less. The quality of food seems to have diminished some from what it used to be.Pros and Cons The hotel is nice and well taken care of but, I didn’t like the extra costs associated with wireless internet service that I got for free in both Sedona and Williams (Grand Canyon).

There’s a Costco 2 exits south on the freeway, if you want the cheapest gast in town or want to stock up on water bottles. but if you want a killer family breakfast, try Blueberry Hill, about a mile or so west on Flamingo Road... Sam’s Town is great, and you never have to leave if you don’t want to. I had a great room rate. Overall, Sam’s Town is a great place to stay, especially for families, if you don’t need to stay on the strip and pay the higher prices of teh strip. I had a car, and it didn’t take long at all. It’s about 6 miles down Flamingo Road. However, a taxi ride would not break the bank. But the last shuttle leaves the strip at 10, which would be a bit early if you wanted to see a show. If you need to go down to the strip, they have a free shuttle. I visited the buffet twice, and it was good but not spectacular as buffets go. The breakfast special at Friday’s was quite good, and inexpensive. The steakhouse looked very nice but was a bit too pricey for my budget at this time, so I visited the buffet and TGIFriday’s. The casino employees are friendly, and very helpful. The center atrium and waterfall is very relaxing, and it has an animatronic and laser show 4 times a day, in the evening. The rooms are nice an clean, service is very good, and it has anything you could ask for, including a bowling alley and a theater." TGIFridays is a great addition! I love this place!. The employees are very helpful and friendly. The bar next to the waterfall is a relaxing place to sit and have a drink. The rooms are comfortable and clean.Fantastic! Sam’ Town is a fantastic place to stay.

FOUND MY NEW PLACE TO STAY! I will definitely be back!... Only suggestion would be that the shuttle to/from strip run a little later, but overall.OH MY GOODNESS THE FOOD WAS AWESOME! Great restaurant/price selections... Price was unbeatable! The casino was great and friendly, and the food. The room was good size and in good shape.Couldnt have asked for better! Hotel was wonderful, and the staff at ALL points of service were EXCELLENT and so nice.

. The housekeeping staff are very friendly and quiet in the morning. We also like the Shepler’s store located on the second floor of the casino. The buffet is excellent and if you want to eat quickly there are a lot of fast food choices also.Great Place for Family Fun This casino has a bowling alley and movie theater, which make it a great place to stay with kids.

I will most definetly vacation there again.which I thought was awesome(no driving:pick up and drop off)When I get married I am planning on staying there in one of the suites. they even have a shuttle to the strip.It was close to my family and not a bad drive to the strip. the staff was extremely nice.shopping and restaurants..you have all types of entertainment for the adults and kids..you dont to leave the hotel.. This hotel is very family friendly.Like home..Our room was very clean and comfortable..The hotel is very clean.Cant wait to vacation there again I was very impressed with the Sam’s Town Hotel..Very Impressed.

. Free schuttle to strip was very convenient except taht last schuttle for return to hotel was too early in evening(around 10 PM). Otherwise stay was excellent. Hotel was 30 minutes by car to airport, more time than estimated. Objective was to stay close to airport for early flight.IMPRESSIVE Wife and I stayed two nights in late August.

. Very nice staff. I had a problem with my A/C, and within ten minutes of calling the front desk, the problem was being fixed. It has a large bowling alley in basement, movie theatres connected to casino and many eating establishments.Not the Strip This hotel has more locals and families in it then hotels on the strip.

. Forget the steakhouse unless you like your steaks dry and done. Travelers tip I suppose a higher-end room could have been better. Well, same results as before, overdone and tuff. Steak was overdone then from what I requested; thought I’d give it a try again. Dined in the steakhouse once a few years ago. Bathroom had a sour smell, even after the maid had cleaned. Definitely no view (faced out over roof and back side of theater -- pipes and air conditioning units).Ok for the price For the most part the room was ok.

.25 out of 10. I would give it a 9. SamsTown also has free shuttles to the ’popular’ areas of Vegas. It’s a quick ride to the strip. I don’t recommend walking around the area at night though. 24/7 TGI Fridays with great prices. Food at the steakhouse was wonderful. Poker room was great. Dealers are nice. Love the staff. Rooms have been recently remodeled. Great off the strip hotel.Great off strip hotel.

. But overall, I would stay there again. The pillows on the bed were not standard size (smaller) so was an uncomfortable sleep. The room was comfortable and clean, however, the paint was peeling off the wall in some spots. The hotel was very nice and the staff was very helpful.Not a bad hotel My daughter and I had to stay only for one night, so it wasn’t too bad.
