. We rented bicyles down the street from the hotel and had great fun riding.Wonderful experience We loved the location, close to Petco Park, Gaslamp.

. Travelers tip on saving a few bucks Can’t possibly. Thats about it. Great hotel if you are on a business trip or have an expense account. The front desk also tried to charge us for a nights stay when we checked out. Even after we were "upgraded" our room still faced the Omni Hotel. Don’t be fooled! Water views are not available through Expedia. I then had to call Expedia to try and fix things and the Manager moved us up a few floors. We booked a water view room and were put in a room without a water view, and told there was nothing else available. It has a great location for dining in the gaslamp district but that is as far as it goes. There is no pool either indoor or out. The rooms are spacious but there is no refrigerator which is key if you are traveling with children. I would strongly suggest that you look elsewhere if you are traveling with a family. This hotel is strictly for business travelers.Do not go with young children.

And the weather is always perfect!. The Padres play just steps from the front door and Seaport Village is a couple blocks over. We suggest a stroll through Little Italy and stop for pizza. This is a 6-star bed! We will be returning! Travelers tip on local attractions Many things to do for the whole family within walking distance, plus many dining places. I have stayed in thousands of hotels and the bed and bedding are very important in my being a return customer. Most Comfortable Bedding!! I am extremely happy with this hotel.

. Such a wonderful value and comfortable rooms.Beautiful hotel, great location The hotel was very clean, friendly staff, great restaurant and location.

When I come back to San Diego I’m definitely staying here again!. They have valet only parking, but that’s only a few bucks.Best Hotel in San Diego! The hotel has a perfect location! Walking distance to Petco Park, the Convention Center, and the bay, as well as being right in the heart of the Gaslamp, in my mind there’s no hotel in San Diego that can offer the convenience as well as the service.

. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I go back to San Diego for business or leisure. The hotel staff members were very polite and helpful. My room was on the 9th floor and faced Petco Park - I was able to hear the crowd cheering, but the noise level was very low and wasn’t disturbing. The room was very clean and comfortable.Very Nice Stayed at this hotel for several nights while in town for a conference.

Ideal spot.Baseball trip the hotel is nice but the location for the gaslamp district and petco park is perfect.

. Easy check-in and out. View of ball park outstanding. Easy walking distance to a lot of interesting places.Impressive views The room was a nice size and everything iin the room was clean and fresh.

. the location and staff attention is fantastic.Outstanding hotel, wonderful location everything went perfectly including the weather.

. cant wait to come back. great place close to all that the gaslamp has to offer.Great place to stay downtown.

. Overall a very pleasant stay and had a great time. Also enjoyed the rooftop bar. Walking distance to everything we needed.Great location next to PETCO Park Great views of bridge, ocean and PETCO Park.

....cant wait to see another padres game and stay at the Marriott Gaslamp Quarter.GASLAMP QUATER BABY the marriott at the gaslamp was awesome, will definetely come back, great view of the city and of course having the water front view was just great.

. Plumbing gurgled at night sometimes, thought a little overpriced.A Little Overpriced Very clean hotel, fairly quiet, easy access to the Gas Lamp Quarter and easy to hook up to transportation.

Excellent hotel Would definitely stay here again Travelers tip on saving a few bucks self park across the sreet for an avg of about $10 per day.

. It is real close to the Stadium, trolley, places to eat, drink.First Class Place What can I say? Is does not get any better.

booked us a reservation for a local steakhouse Max on 5th, that too was superb!!!...nice and clean, great staff...Superb! Superb, great location overlooking Petco Park.

. Overall a great stay. The bar at the top was outstanding. My room on 16th floor overlooked the park.Great for Ballgames Had a great time.

Also - no Mini Bar- Wow!. It was tack and nothung of interest on the walls. The matching furniture was shipped from Vietnam and assembled. The rooms (all remodeled over a year ago) were basic and disappointing.Good for baseball, basic decor This is a great location, and a great view of Petco.

. There is a full-service gourmet grocery store and pharmacy only 10 mins away by foot from this hotel. Plan your meals ahead and pack a picnics where you can to save money. If going to the see the Padres, prepare yourself for very high concession prices at Petco Park. Definitely a great place to stay for your next visit to San Diego! There are many great things to do in San Diego with your family - SeaWorld, Legoland, San Diego zoo. Also boasts the best skyline bar in the city that has cozy firepits and waterfall behind the bar.Lovely upscale hotel in great location Conveniently located in the Gaslamp Quarter and across the street from Petco Park.

. Cheap public transportation will get you all over. We didn’t even rent a car. Plenty of good places within walking distance. The game is partially obstructed, but you can watch the pitcher and the batter. Wonderful; view of the ball game from the roof.San Diego Marriott Gaslamp Quarter One block from Petco Park.

. Otherwise, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to get away! Travelers tip on dining The Gas Lamp Strip Club is a great steak house for those looking for something a little different (you cook you own steaks!). The hotel is a little more lively than most, so if you are looking for a quiet romantic setting, this is not the place. I recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a fun, upbeat, close to everything place to stay.Great location The hotel is in a great location, next to Petco Park, and the Gas Lamp Quarter.

The room was nicely appointed and service was outstanding! Great rooftop bar too!. We stayed here for a baseball game at Petco Park and the location overlooked the park and in the heart of Gaslamp..Great Hotel .

. Plus you have the Altitude bar on the roof with amazing views and chic atmosphere. A block away from 5th street/Gaslamp Quarter area, it is a no-brainer decision to save a over $100/night and go with this hotel. The interior is modern, well kept and comfortable. But don’t let the looks fool you.Looks can be deceiving The Marriot on K street does not compare visually to the Marriott on the waterfront.

Go for an amazing dinner and plan to stay out for drinks/dancing/mingling!!!., $30 any entree, $10 any dessert.Fantastic Hotel in a Perfect Location! This hotel was fantastic! It was clean, well decorated, had VERY comfortable beds, and extremely helpful service! The location was ideal so close to the perfect part of town! I highly recommend this hotel! And it is only an 8-10 minute cab ride from the airport! Travelers tip on dining The trendiest dinner/nightlife place in the Gaslamp District is by FAR the Stingaree! To get in just for the 3 floors of bars/dance floors/ and fabulous outdoor patios, there is a cover of $20 and a long line at that! However, if you eat dinner there- free cover! The menu is eclectic and rather expensive but the meal that we had was well worth it! $13 any type of salad, $19 any appt.
