. They even passed the "I forgot to pack my toothpaste" test at 4 in the morning. The perfect stay
This hotel provided everything I expected - and then some.
For once, Im looking forward to my next Vegas trip!. From now on, the Santa Fe Station will be the only place I stay in Vegas. There was great live entertainment, good food and easy to find 5 dollar table games. The whole stay was as much as 1 night on the strip. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday and the price was very reasonable. Our son just transfered to UNLV and the Sante Fe Station is the closest hotel to his condo so we stayed there. To me the strip is overpriced, overcrowded and full of phony people. Its great being off of the strip!
My wife loves Vegas and staying on the strip.
. I didnt figure out where the pool was until the last day I was there. The room itself was adequate, but the hotel could use some better explanations as to where things are and what is included in your room price. When they couldnt fix it quickly, they moved me to a nearby room, brought me up new keys, gave me free coffee coupons and even helped me move my luggage to the other room. When it happened again, another call sent up help again.Decent Hotel
I had some issues with the air conditioning going out, but a call to the front desk sent someone up quickly to remedy the situation.
.Worth for the Money
The room is clean and hotel staff very accomodating.
. I cant wait to go back.Best hotel for locals
I was delighted, impressed by the room.
Completely Unimpressive
Small, dirty, dingy, lousy food.
Other than that, I didnt enjoy my stay.50. The lady at the front desk was nice and my kids breakfast was only $2. There was no coffee maker in the room which is standard in most hotels. All I wanted was a pot of coffee. On Saturday morning, I grabbed the room service menu which was in my room only to call and find out that they dont offer room service. I stayed there a few years ago before it was remodeled and had a better time then. Not what I thought
I used to live in Las Vegas and Im farmiliar with the Santa Fe.
. It seems like, with technology these days, they could have an automated call go to everyones room stating that it was a false alarm (the alarm was so loud, its not like people werent already awake). We walked downstairs and outside and there was no one to tell us that it was safe to return to the building. The hotel did NOTHING to communicate the false alarm to guests. one morning.m.Santa Fes okay
The only problem we had was that the fire alarm was triggered at 4 a.
. It was an horrible experience. I will never go back and I would not recommend this hotel to a dying cat on the street. All the furniture was old as dirt.V and crappy ventilation. We basically paid extra money to have a bare room with two double beds, a sorry T. Thats a joke! We had no microwave, coffee pot, bad cable stations, etc. They had nerve to charge extra money per day for amenities. No one offered an apology or compensation for getting out of bed in the middle of the night to walk down 4 flight of stairs just to find out that someone couldnt cook very well in the kitchen. It went off again the next day at 8:AM. The fire alarm went off at 1:30am while I was sleeping and they couldnt get it off for 30 minutes. The staff was not courteous at all.
I can honestly say that this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my entire life.NEVER , Ever, AGAIN!!!!!! HORRIBLE.
I have to say that I will defintely be back hopefully sooner then later. When we got there on Saturday afternoon there was no wait at check in and the bell service was very quick to have our bags to us right after we checked in.I especially like the hotel only has 5 floors so waiting on elevators was never a problem.Good Times
I would recommend the Sante Fe if you do not want to deal with the strip and downtown traffic.
. supposedly covers free calls and newspapers. Didnt like having to pay though so called hotel sur charges per day though. Good food at restaurants.Good all around hotel
Had plenty to do for the children such as the Kids Quest, bowling, theaters, ect.
.
Not bad for price.Nicer room than other 3 star hotels Ive stayed at.

Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay
Wonderful salad and service at the downstairs cafe. The only thing that saved this trip was the exceptional salad and the impeccable service from the staff at the hotel cafe, and that my car wasnt broken into during my stay.Filthiest Hotel Ive ever experienced
Unable to accommodate single bed requested through Expedia, room floor not vaccuumed, hair in shower, toothpaste in sink, dried urine on toilet seat, multiple colors of lipstick on wine glass, greasy fingerprints and cigarette ash on every surface of this hotel.
.
Travelers tip
For people who dont drive or dont rent a car maybe have bus schedules posted somewhere or schedules on display somewhere.Restaurants
Post the hours of the restaurants in the rooms.
. I did use the fitness room, it was very nice. I left unhappy and without food! This may be a one time thing but I was only staying one night so this left a bad taste in my mouth. The cafe was not overly busy, there was no wait, and many servers passed by me - still no one took my order. I sat the counter for 20 minutes waiting to order breakfast and not one service person stopped to help me.Nice Hotel - Poor Service Experience
The Hotel was nice, bed was comfortable but I had a bad experience at the Hotel Cafe.
. The lobby/casino could use a facelift, and the food was average at best, but the new bowling alley/movie theater was very nice. Finally had to move back to original room and wear every piece of clothing in the suitcase, just to make it through the night. Was switched to room across the hall that had no electricity.Lacking
Room was freezing and couldnt be fixed.
. We would stay there again, but not plan on eating there. I was told by the hostess that there wasnt enough servers. Service was so slow! Tables were empty, but we had to wait to be seated.95 breakfast. All were expensive except the food court and a $4. I would like to comment on the restaurants in the facility.Santa Fe Station
There was not enough room in the bathroom for makeup and for two of us there was only one luggage rack.

Travelers tip
None of the taxi drivers I had knew where this place was, so be sure to keep its location in mind. Be smart and spend the extra cash to crash at any of the places on the strip, youll thank yourself later. Not a bad spot if you are just crashing for the night and just need a bed, but forget it if youre here to party (the casino is not that great either). Room includes a TV with about 10 channels, internet and an ironing board. No coffee in the room, no dinnerware and the view is pathetic (dont expect anything glamorous).OK for a short stay
Way outside the main strip area (about 15-20 minutes away) in a quiet part of the desert town.
. Overall we had a very nice time. It was out of the way some what hard to get to. It seemed like a Second or third thought.
The only negative we had was the location of the Swimming Pool. Building, halls, rooms, swinmming pool need update. We had a very nice stay.
.
I like the Kidsquest for the kids.Good place to stay and reasonable
Always comfortable and clean.
. Overall, the price was very fair. The food at the different restaurants was of good quality.Good value
although the bathroom was small, the room was clean and well maintained.
. VERY unusal for a Vegas Hotel. There was no shuttle bus at all from the hotel. Hotel staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. Ice Machine on our floor was broken the entire week we were there--they were working on fixing it the day we checked out. No exhaust fan in the bathroom either. Very little counter space in the bathroom to store your toiletery items. There were no dresser drawers so you could store your clothes out of the suitcase--only small drawers in the nightstand table beside the bed. No refrigerator in the room.Santa fe station hotel and casino
Hotel room was out of date.
. I would only recommend this hotel to others IF they were staying for a short period and needed a bed to sleep in for a couple of nights. I had understood there would be coffee in the room - there was none. Pool not easily accessible. Carpets in hallway were worn and had several stains. Hotel maid very accommodating and did a nice job.Cleanliness?
The room was very comfortable - bathroom was small.
. We had talked to the maids while in the hallway and they assured us they would clean up our room and when we came back at night from a wedding and reception, the room was the way we had left it, the beds unmade and the bathroom not cleaned.Room condition
I was very unhappy with the maid service as our room did not get cleaned up the first morning there.
We would like to stay there again sometime!
Travelers tip on nightlife
Station Casinos has some great entertainment!. The "King for a Night" Dennis Wise show in the Chrome Show Room was great! The room was nice and the bed very comfortable. We did not have to wait in line forever to check in and they were very helpful to help us park our over-sized vehicle.Nice place to stay
Santa Fe Station was a very nice place to stay.
